Chapter 61 They Look So Perfect Together!

In a confident, tipsy state, Charlotte draped her arms around his neck and murmured, "I'm not in the mood to cook, just so you know."

Lily, observing nearby, watched the scene play out with a mix of exhilaration and a hint of embarrassment. 'Frederick's got Charlotte in his arms. This is so cringe.'

As much as she wanted to linger on the scene, Frederick preferred privacy. Swiftly, he scooped up Charlotte and headed to his gleaming gold Bentley parked outside. Thankfully, Charlotte was a mellow drunk, staying composed in his embrace.

Closing the car door, Frederick turned to Lily. "Need a lift home?"

Lily waved off the offer. "Nah, just take care of Charlotte for me!"

Familiar with Lily's reputation as a party enthusiast, Frederick hadn't anticipated her bonding with someone like Charlotte.

With a nod, he slipped into the car, the golden Bentley elegantly rolling away.

Lily couldn't contain her amazement, covering her face. "They’re so meant for each other!"

Giving herself a gentle slap, she mused, 'It’s not a dream! Charlotte’s landed a seriously impressive guy!'

At a red light, Frederick stole a glance at Charlotte. Even under the influence, she remained composed, far from rowdy or troublesome, exuding a subtle allure instead. Her cheeks were flushed, eyes glistening.

A craving for a smoke flickered briefly in Frederick's mind, dismissed promptly with Charlotte in the car. Silently, he maneuvered back to the apartment.

As the car halted, Charlotte inquired softly, "Are we home?"

Her hand reached for the door, halted by a firm grip. Startled, Charlotte gazed up at Frederick.

His demeanor was calm, his gaze piercing. If not for his restrained strength, his dominance might have gone unnoticed.

"Frederick," Charlotte uttered faintly.

A subtle click resonated as he locked the door. Turning to her, Frederick’s tone softened. "Come sit on my lap."

Charlotte's cheeks flared crimson in disbelief.

Frederick didn't rush her, taking in her appearance. The silk dress clung softly to her frame, accentuating her fair legs.

While not one for specific preferences, Frederick had an affinity for Charlotte's legs, finding them irresistible each time they were together.

Alone in the car, the lingering scent of alcohol heightened his desire. The urge to kiss her surged within him.

Enthralled by his striking features, Charlotte unfastened her seatbelt, gingerly settling into his lap, uncertain how to reciprocate, offering a soft hum instead.

Tilting his head down, Frederick questioned, "Am I serving you, or are you serving me?"

Pounding heartbeats echoed in Charlotte's ears. She found attraction in his rugged charm, attempting a timid kiss, her inexperience evident.

Enduring the anticipation, Frederick finally released his restraint, reclining his seat.

Within the car, a scene ripe with lust unfolded.

Upon awakening, Charlotte found midnight had come. Sitting up in bed, she roused from a haze, recalling the bar and the heated exchange in the car.

'Alcohol always leads to trouble!' She thought.

When she was about to reach for her phone to text Lily, Frederick entered the bedroom. Leaning against the door, he remarked calmly, "Dinner’s yet to be made."

Charlotte sprang to attention. "What do you want to eat? I'll make it now."

Just as she made her way to the door, Frederick intercepted her.
