Chapter 615 Jesse Said He Wanted to Sleep With Mom and Dad
With a few quick moves, he felt her slim waist through the thin silk shirt.
Amara had given birth, but her waist was even slimmer and firmer than before.
She didn't even work out, which was pretty amazing.
Kingsley originally just wanted to give her a little lesson, but touching her like this stirred up his own desire. He pressed against the corner of her mouth and whispered, "Is he your new boyfriend?"
"None of your business!" Amara tried to pull his hand away.
Kingsley's voice got even huskier. "You better not move!"
Amara wasn't new to intimacy and knew exactly what he was up to. She coldly replied, "Please mind your manners."
Her eyes reddened.
She was just having dinner with Billy, but now he had her pinned against the car in public. To him, she was still just his plaything, a possession without self-identity, existing solely to make him happy.
If he truly loved her, he wouldn't disrespect her like this.
Kingsley stared at her.
Amara didn't want to talk to him. She turned her face away, her chest slightly heaving.
Kingsley knew she was angry.
His attitude softened a bit. He reached out to straighten her clothes and gently touched her face, saying softly, "I got a bit anxious! Amara, I just want to know who he is."
Amara bit her tender lip. "My new boyfriend!"
Kingsley let out a bitter laugh.
Amara didn't want to lose her composure in front of him, but since their reunion, he had been pressing her too hard. She just wanted to live a good life. She could accept him visiting Jesse once a week, but Kingsley came every day. Each time, he forced himself on her.
Amara was determined to separate from him and didn't want this unclear relationship.
But with Kingsley's status, he could completely control her.
She pushed him, but he pressed her against the car again. Just as he was about to interrogate her further, a black Rolls-Royce Phantom stopped beside them, and Frederick got out of the passenger seat. "Kingsley, what are you doing! In broad daylight, you're harassing Amara!"
Kingsley's body stiffened slightly.
At this moment, he was still holding Amara. Continuing to hold her was bad, but letting go was obviously worse. He lowered his head to check if Amara was okay.
Amara felt quite embarrassed and pushed him away.
Kingsley stepped back. Strangely, the jealousy he felt earlier had dissipated quite a bit.
He turned around and called out to them.
Frederick, though eager to see his grandson, didn't want to show it too obviously. He cleared his throat. "You have a child now and should be more mature! You two can be affectionate behind closed doors, why do it outside?"
He scolded Kingsley, "Don't embarrass the Hawkins Family!"
Amara felt a bit awkward.
She opened her mouth, "It's not..."
Kingsley glanced at her and responded seriously, "I got it!"
Amara decided not to explain.
At this moment, Charlotte turned off the car and got out. She had insisted on driving because she was worried Frederick might have an accident. Frederick had been waiting impatiently and now couldn't help but rub his hands together. "His name is Jesse, right? We have been eager to see Jesse."
Frederick then pulled Charlotte upstairs, ignoring Kingsley and Amara.
The night was still cold.
With the elders' interruption, the vibe shifted big time. Amara wanted to follow them upstairs, but Kingsley grabbed her hand. This time, he didn't rudely press her against the car.
Amara whispered, "Let go!"
Kingsley gently tugged, and she fell back into his arms. He leaned down and kissed her, his voice hoarse and tender. "It wasn't me who told, it must have been Jimmy! Amara, we'll talk about this later. Let's go upstairs first."
Despite the unexpected interruption, Kingsley hadn't forgotten to interrogate her.
Amara broke free from him and silently went upstairs.
The hallway was quiet, the only sound being their breaths.
Meanwhile, Frederick and Charlotte had already gone upstairs.
When they knocked on the door, Frederick's hand was trembling. He looked at Charlotte and asked, "This is the right place, isn't it?"
Charlotte gave him a sidelong glance, thinking he wasn't very brave.
She lightly pressed the doorbell.
Hailey thought Amara had returned. As she opened the door, she said, "Jesse has been asking about you for a while. If you don't come back soon, I think he'll cry."
Hailey looked at the couple outside.
Were they Kingsley's parents?
The nationally famous Frederick and his wife?
Frederick wasn't young, but he still looked mature and handsome, making Hailey blush and rub her apron. "Are you looking for Amara? She hasn't come back yet!"
Frederick smiled. "Kingsley is talking to her downstairs. We were eager to see Jesse. We hope we're not intruding!"
Hailey didn't dare not let them in.
She quickly stepped aside. "Please come in. This place is small!"
Hailey let them in and quickly brewed the best coffee in the house, the kind usually reserved for when Landon visited. She hurriedly made coffee, still thinking about what to say when Jesse ran out of the bedroom in his little cow pajamas.
Frederick was looking around the apartment when Jesse bumped into his leg.
Jesse wrapped his small arms around Frederick's leg.
Frederick's heart melted. He wanted to hug Jesse but was afraid of scaring him, so he bent down and gently embraced him.
Jesse wasn't shy. His big eyes looked at Frederick and then at Charlotte, who liked him immediately.
She knelt down, gently touching Jesse's eyebrows and eyes. His features resembled Amara's, but his facial features were very much like Kingsley's. It was clear that Jesse would look more like Kingsley as he grew up. She couldn't help but kiss him. "You look so good! And you're so well-behaved."
Frederick couldn't help but kiss him too. "Of course, he inherits our family's genes."
Charlotte didn't argue with him.
She picked Jesse up, sat on the sofa, and asked Hailey if they had eaten.
Hailey, feeling touched, replied, "Yes! We had lamb chops, and Jesse ate several pieces!"
Frederick also felt that Jesse was well taken care of.
He wanted to thank Hailey sincerely, as she had taken care of Amara and Jesse for years. But the words got stuck in his throat.
Frederick looked at Charlotte, who also didn't mention it.
Frederick thought, 'After all, Charlotte is always more resourceful than I am.'
They naturally wanted to take Jesse back to raise him.
But taking him back to the Hawkins Mansion wasn't realistic. The scene downstairs clearly showed that Amara and Kingsley hadn't reconciled. Could Frederick force them into the same bed?
So Hailey hesitated and asked about their plans.
Frederick gently patted Jesse's head and said, "Their matters are not something we can interfere with too much! But your living situation seems really cramped, and Kingsley hasn't arranged for a new house all this time. I'll have to reprimand him later!"
Charlotte couldn't help but nod. "I agree!"
Frederick said, "Exactly! At least a four-bedroom, two-bathroom place is needed. Young people need their privacy! Let's discuss it tonight and move tomorrow."
Hailey was dumbfounded.
Did Frederick and Charlotte genuinely unaware, or just pretending?
Amara and Kingsley hadn't seen each other for three years. Although they had a child, things shouldn't move this fast, as if they were already married. Would Amara agree to this?
Frederick, holding his beloved Jesse, said, "Do you like being with your dad every day?"
Jesse, though young, vaguely understood that these were his grandparents. He nodded vigorously. "I like Daddy!"
Amara opened the door and came in, with Kingsley following, and they both happened to hear this.
Kingsley lazily smiled, took off his coat, and skillfully placed it in the entryway cabinet as if it were his own home. He changed into slippers and handed a pair to Amara.
Amara remained silent.
Kingsley walked over, picked up Jesse, and held him in his arms, giving him a kiss. "Jesse!"
Jesse grew up with Hailey and Amara. Though he was surrounded by love, the love from a male figure was different. Jesse shyly hugged Kingsley, his little face buried in his neck. Kingsley's face was full of tenderness as he gently patted him.
Frederick and Charlotte watched, moved.
Kingsley had a son!
To ease the tension, Hailey reminded them to have some coffee. But Frederick just wanted to hold Jesse!
Kingsley glanced at Frederick, handed Jesse back to him, and went to the kitchen to get some food. He sat at the dining table and started eating. "I haven't had dinner yet!"
Frederick and Charlotte were stunned.
They knew Kingsley had always been particular since he was a child. When had he ever done things himself?
Now he was eating such simple food!
After eating, Kingsley said, "Hailey's lamb soup is quite good!"
Hailey naturally replied, "If you like it, come over more often."
Frederick added, "I was just discussing with Charlotte about how cramped this place is. Kingsley, arrange a bigger place soon."
Kingsley smiled lightly. "Okay!"
Frederick said no more. After all, he had seen Jesse, and Amara couldn't run away.
They felt reassured.
Frederick looked at Amara and said, "In a few days, it's Kingsley's birthday. Bring Jesse over; it's also a chance for his elders to see him."
Amara hadn't spoken since entering the door.
Hearing this, she nodded slightly.
She had given birth to the Hawkins Family's child. Although he was her own child, she couldn't refuse such a request.
Charlotte could tell that there was still a deep misunderstanding between Amara and Kingsley that wouldn't be resolved easily.
Charlotte took off her bracelet, saying it was for Jesse. Amara tried to decline. "This is too valuable, Mrs. Hawkins. I can't accept it."
Inside, the lights were dim.
Charlotte considered for a moment and spoke gently, "I understand your concerns, but I promise you, Frederick and I won't interfere with your choices! Jesse will live with you."
"Mrs. Hawkins!" Amara's voice trembled; she was stunned.
She could see how much the Hawkins Family loved and valued Jesse, but they were willing to let Amara raise him.
Charlotte gently patted her hand, not saying much more.
In fact, if it weren't for the misunderstanding years ago, perhaps Kingsley and Amara would already have a son and a daughter.
Late at night, Charlotte and Frederick said their goodbyes, leaving Kingsley behind.
Frederick complained a bit, "You're too generous! What if Amara runs back to Bostan? Don't forget she has Landon behind her, and he is not a good person!"
Charlotte linked her arm with Frederick's and said softly, "Don't you believe in Kingsley's charm?"
While Frederick certainly did, he was still a bit skeptical. "Then why did he look so jealous when we first arrived?"
Charlotte opened the car door and sat in the passenger seat. She smiled gently. "Jealousy comes from love!"
Frederick got in the car and, before fastening his seatbelt, leaned over and kissed Charlotte, whispering, "True! After all these years, I still get jealous every time Landon comes to our house."
Charlotte leaned back in her seat, gazing at him tenderly.
Frederick gently hugged her. "Jesse is very cute! You can rest easy now!"
In the apartment, Hailey had gone to bed early, even putting on headphones, so she couldn't hear anything!
In the master bedroom, under the warm yellow light.
Jesse sat on the big bed, playing with his toys. Kingsley had just given Jesse a bath, his body half-dry, half-wet. He pulled out his belt and started taking off his shirt.
Amara, leaning against the door, asked restrainedly, "Kingsley, what are you doing?"
"Taking a shower! I'm staying here tonight!"
"I didn't invite you to stay overnight!"
Kingsley looked at Jesse. "Jesse invited me! He said he wants to sleep with Mommy and Daddy."
Amara didn't know what to do with him.
Kingsley took off his shirt and walked into the bathroom. Amara just knew he couldn't stay overnight; it was a matter of principle.
But as soon as she entered the bathroom, an arm pulled her in.
Amara's back was against the glass door. Kingsley propped one hand beside her and gently pinched her chin, kissing her lightly.
Amara struggled, and he trapped her with his body.
Soon, she couldn't take it anymore. With her slender arms wrapped around his neck and her eyes misty, she softly called his name.
Kingsley was also losing control.
He pressed against her ear, looking at her flushed face, and murmured, "I've wanted to kiss you like this for a long time! Who did you have dinner with tonight?"
Amara refused to tell him.
So he teased her again, making her unable to speak, nearly breaking down.
"No problem! I have ways to make you tell me!" Kingsley reached out and turned on the shower, the sound of water masking their noises. Outside, Jesse was still happily playing with his toys.
Kingsley was very satisfied. "If you don't tell me, I'll keep doing this. You haven't been with any other man these years, have you? Otherwise, why does your desire get aroused whenever I tease you?"
Amara was finally tormented to tears. "He's Hailey's son; I'm not with him. Kingsley, you bastard!"
