Chapter 467 Are You Still in Pain? (Part 1)
Chloe's back hit the wardrobe, and yeah, it hurt a bit.
But Andrew was right there, and his kiss was on fire!
They'd been getting along great lately, and it had been a week since they last saw each other. Of course, they missed each other!
After what felt like forever, Chloe felt things were getting a bit too heated, so she gently pushed against his shoulder, blushing a little. "Gavin and Natalie are still outside. We shouldn't take too long!"
Andrew took her hand, gave it a couple of gentle rubs, and asked softly, "Are you still in pain?"
Ever since she had the baby, she had some pain during her period, which he still remembered.
Chloe was still blushing, her voice low, "It's okay!" Then she nudged him to go out.
Andrew leaned in close, breathing lightly, "I missed you!" He gave her a tender kiss before leaving.
In the walk-in closet, Chloe's face was all flushed.
When Andrew stepped out, he saw Gavin staring at him. He calmly patted Gavin's head, "I'll take you guys to eat seafood later!"
Gavin lit up. He lifted his small backpack, "I brought Natalie's bottle and snacks!"
Natalie hugged Gavin from behind, drooling on him a bit. Gavin didn't mind and pulled her to the front, "Be good."
Natalie clung to his arm and walked around him.
Chloe tidied up and came out. Andrew picked up Natalie and held Gavin's hand with the other.
Chloe grabbed the car keys.
The family of four walked out of the hotel room, and as they reached the lobby, they saw Nina.
With her slender figure, she was wearing a black spaghetti strap dress, looking particularly sexy. But she seemed a bit cold!
When she saw Andrew, she immediately approached and said sincerely, "Chloe, I haven't had the chance to apologize to you. How about I treat you and Andrew to a meal today?"
She looked at Natalie and reached out to touch her. "So cute!"
Before they could say anything, Gavin spoke up, "Don't touch Natalie!"
Chloe was quite surprised.
In her mind, Gavin had always been very kind and gentle.
Nina was startled, and when she looked over, she saw Gavin glaring at her fiercely, making her tremble. Nina thought, 'Once I get Andrew, you all will be out of the picture.'
Andrew spoke up, "This is a family gathering, and we don't like outsiders interrupting."
Nina's face darkened.
Andrew ignored her. He took the two kids to the car, opened the passenger door for Chloe, and helped her in.
The car started and drove away.
After a while, Andrew gently held Chloe's hand. Chloe looked up at him.
Andrew's voice was low, "Are you angry?"
Chloe smiled lightly, "Not really!"
Andrew smiled and let go of her hand, "Very magnanimous!"
Chloe snorted softly.
The matter was quickly forgotten. Andrew drove to the seaside of Nocturna City, where there was an open-air market selling all kinds of fresh seafood and some barbecues, which looked very appetizing.
In the past, Andrew was in a high position and rarely had such opportunities.
Now, being out with Chloe and the kids, enjoying the sea breeze and delicious food was a different experience.
He even wanted a glass of cold beer, but Chloe stopped him, "Don't drink that!" She poured him a glass of water and handed it to him.
Andrew looked at her, then finally took the glass and drank the water. Natalie, leaning against him, also wanted a sip. Andrew fed her half a glass and then gave her some seafood.
In the distance, someone lit a torch. They were celebrating a local festival, and it looked lively.
After dinner, Andrew let Natalie ride on his shoulders, carrying her, and held Chloe's hand with the other.
Gavin played on the beach.
Occasionally, he would chase the waves, and Natalie fussed about wanting to get down. Andrew patted her butt.
Chloe leaned on Andrew's shoulder, holding his arm.
At that moment, she felt incredibly happy.
She whispered, "It would be great if it could always be like this!"
Andrew gently hugged her waist and smiled lightly. Chloe looked up and asked softly, "Why don't you oppose me going out to act?"
Andrew answered without thinking, "Because you're going to be a big star."
She said softly, "I don't want to be a big star." That was just a small goal; her true objective lay elsewhere.
Andrew turned to her. She thought he was going to ask something, but he didn't. He just leaned in and gently kissed her on the lips.
The waves gently lapped the shore.
In the distance, Gavin waited quietly for them. Natalie's chubby little hand covered her eyes.
This moment was peaceful and romantic. Chloe thought it was better than any other day.
She murmured, "What I want most is to be your wife."
Andrew gently hugged her. They hugged for a long time, and Natalie yawned out of boredom.
Back at the hotel, it was already midnight.
The kids fell asleep as soon as they got back, too tired to even take a bath, with little feet still covered in fine sand.
Chloe wanted to wake the kids up to wash.
"Let them sleep! It's rare!" Andrew turned off the light in the children's room and took Chloe back to the master bedroom. He gently pressed her onto the sofa and kissed her. After a long time, she whispered, "You obviously really want to have sex!"
He did want to, but her body wasn't in a condition for it.
He squeezed onto the sofa, lying next to her and talking.
Chloe leaned against his chest, tracing his handsome features.
Andrew's features were delicate. He was usually gentle, but when he got angry, he was quite intimidating.
She softly asked him, "Isn't the company busy?"
Andrew closed his eyes, gently stroking her back, "There's a lot to do, but I can't help it. I missed you a bit."
Chloe bit his chin. She whispered, "I missed you too!"
She thought that after finishing this movie, whether she won any awards or not, she wouldn't act anymore. She could take some ads and fashion events but wouldn't go out to act. She wanted to take care of Andrew. Andrew wasn't young anymore.
She knew that if you love someone, you have to make sacrifices and not just follow your own whims. But she didn't tell him these thoughts.
Thinking about it, Chloe started to feel sleepy. Andrew pulled her up to take a bath, but she refused, unconsciously acting spoiled, "Andrew, I'm so sleepy! You're lenient with Gavin and Natalie, but so strict with me."
Andrew leaned down and bit her. "Because they don't sleep with me!"
