Chapter 908 She Is Willing to Marry, Only Because He Is Bruce

Bruce's kiss sparked something deep inside him, but he held back.

This was Sienna's place, not the right setting, and definitely not the right moment.

Still longing, Bruce suggested, "How about coming over to my place tonight?"

That apartment?

Sienna had zero interest in going there. The thought of it made her uneasy, and her mood shifted.

Bruce noticed right away.

He spoke gently, "I mean my villa."

After a pause, he added, "As for that apartment, I haven't known what to do with it for a long time. But now, I think I should sell it. Otherwise, you'll never want to go there again."

Sienna stayed quiet.

Bruce softly twirled her long hair around his finger, his voice low, "Sienna, let's start over. Give me a chance to show we can be happy together. You don't want to settle for a lifetime of just getting by, do you?"

Sienna replied quietly, "It doesn't have to be just once in a lifetime."

Bruce didn't say anything, just gazed at her with deep affection.

His feelings for her might have been messy, but now he was deeply in love with her. Men are practical, and he didn't want to miss out on this love.

Sienna thought it over and agreed.

Resting her face on the pillow, she said softly, "Bruce, if you make me angry again, I won't forgive you."

His heart softened.

Bruce knew Sienna's personality well; she was clear about her likes and dislikes. Her words meant she had forgiven him.

He leaned down to kiss her, murmuring, "I have to go to a meeting now. See you tonight."

Sienna playfully kicked him, urging him to leave.

Bruce left in high spirits, thinking how a good relationship could truly invigorate a person.

After Bruce left, Sienna leaned against the headboard.

She wondered if she had forgiven him too easily.

But she also thought Bruce was right about one thing: she didn't want her marriage to be a compromise. If she was getting married again, it wasn't just for appearances.

Sienna didn't care much about reputation.

It was probably because it was Bruce. Because it was him, she was willing to marry.

Sienna's thoughts wandered, leaving her feeling emotional.

By evening, instead of waiting at home as planned, Sienna changed clothes and drove her sports car to the Taylor Group.

Her red Cullinan parked conspicuously outside, but Sienna didn't care about the attention.

She didn't expect to run into Jeremy, her former date.

The one Bruce had disrupted.

Sienna thought about greeting him, but before she could roll down her window, she heard Bruce's secretary, Anna, saying, "Jeremy, let go of me!"

Anna?

Sienna quickly pieced it together. She wasn't naive; she guessed Bruce had sent Anna to seduce Jeremy, leading to the current chase scene.

Grinding her teeth, Sienna thought, 'Bruce, you really are ruthless!'

Just then, Bruce came downstairs. He recognized Sienna's car and paused, surprised.

Meanwhile, Jeremy dragged Anna into his car.

Sienna got out of her car, leaning against it with her long legs crossed, a relaxed smile on her face. "Mr. Taylor, quite the strategy!"

Bruce glanced at the scene and said, "I didn't tell Anna to seduce Jeremy."

Sienna retorted, "Then what did you tell her to do?"

Sienna wasn't foolish. If Bruce hadn't done anything, Anna and Jeremy wouldn't be involved.

Bruce sighed softly.

He decided to come clean, "Alright, I'll explain. But can we eat first?"

Feigning innocence, Bruce added, "I've been in meetings all day. I'm starving!"
