Chapter 77 Killer Legs

Frederick leaned against the car, a lazy smile on his face. "Are you staring?"

Charlotte couldn't tear her eyes away from him. He was just too handsome, like a picture come to life.

Frederick straightened up and walked over. When he was just a couple of steps away, he looked down at her. "Were you disappointed last night?"

His tone was surprisingly serious. Charlotte blushed, catching his drift. She was about to brush it off, but Frederick had already wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her close.

Their bodies touched, and the spark was undeniable.

Frederick leaned in and whispered in her ear, "Your waist is so slim! That dress looks amazing on you." His gaze drifted over her fair, slender legs.

Once they got into the car, Charlotte glanced at Frederick. He was always good-looking, but today he was even more striking.

Frederick noticed her staring, turned to her, and said with a hint of a smile, "Ms. Russell, control yourself!"

Charlotte blushed at his words.

Frederick leaned in and whispered behind her ear, "We can't get your dress dirty now, okay?"

Charlotte turned to look out the window. "Keep your eyes on the road."

Frederick chuckled softly and gently pressed the gas pedal.

Twenty minutes later, the black sports car pulled up to Syeattel's only six-star hotel.

The doorman recognized Frederick and greeted him respectfully, "Mr. Hawkins, here for dinner?"

Frederick nodded coolly.

He parked the car at the hotel entrance and unbuckled Charlotte's seatbelt. "If we go to the parking lot, you need to take a long walk. Wait here for me."

Charlotte looked at her high heels. When Frederick was considerate, no woman could resist. Feeling moved, she leaned in and kissed him.

Frederick's gaze deepened, and he spoke in a low voice, "We're at the hotel entrance."

Charlotte felt embarrassed. As she got out of the car, she said, "I'll go ahead. Meet me in the banquet hall."

Frederick smiled.

Charlotte got out and watched him drive away. She started to regret it a bit. What if Frederick ran off? Just as she was thinking this, Lily arrived.

Lily arrived solo, without her husband in tow. Catching sight of Charlotte's ensemble, she couldn't resist whispering, "Charlotte, with those killer legs, Mr. Hawkins must be swooning at your feet!"

Still reeling from Frederick's playful banter, Lily's quip left Charlotte feeling a tad flustered. She and Frederick were still maintaining their innocence in their relationship.

Unaware of the intricacies of Charlotte and Frederick's connection, Lily cut straight to the chase. "Where's Frederick?"

Charlotte, adjusting her blonde locks, replied with a hint of unease, "He's parking the car. Let's head up first."

Teasingly, Lily remarked, "You two look like an old married couple already," eager to witness Tina's deceit unravel as she ushered Charlotte into the elevator.

Alone in the lift, Lily took advantage of the privacy, playfully touching Charlotte in various places. "Your legs are truly something else!"

Blushing, Charlotte shot Lily a quick glance as the latter beamed mischievously.

Upon reaching the floor of the banquet hall, the elevator doors opened to reveal Tina standing at the entrance, clad in a stunning tight red dress exuding an air of grandeur.

In a swift glance, Lily caught sight of Ethan across the hall, occupying the prime spot with a clear view of them. Ethan's gaze met hers, his eyes alight with astonishment.

While Ethan had always acknowledged Charlotte's beauty, tonight she exuded a different aura, a magnetic allure that drew men in.

In a hushed tone, Lily remarked to Charlotte, "I bet Tina set you up next to Ethan! She's relentless in trying to outshine you."

Feeling somewhat resigned, Charlotte saw no connection with Ethan anymore; Tina had misjudged her adversary.

Dressed to the nines, Charlotte's focus wasn't on Ethan but on her evening with Frederick. He had hinted at taking their relationship to the next level.
