Chapter 906 She Suddenly Feels That Possessing Bruce Is Quite Nice!

Sienna had some free time, but she didn't want to spend it with Bruce.

Their relationship wasn't exactly normal; they were just going through the motions of marriage.

Besides, she couldn't let go of the past, and her feelings for Bruce had changed. The sweetness was gone.

After a moment of silence, Bruce seemed to understand what Sienna was thinking.

He didn't push her and instead said gently, "You should get some rest."

Sienna nodded.

She walked him downstairs to see him off. By then, Bruce had mostly sobered up.

As they reached the bottom of the stairs, they ran into Frederick, who was reading a newspaper.

He glanced up at Bruce and said in a flat tone, "Heading out?"

Bruce straightened up and replied respectfully, "I'll come back with my parents to visit you another day."

Frederick looked at him for a while.

Finally, he muttered softly, "You little rascal!"

Bruce felt a warmth in his heart despite the scolding. He knew this meant Frederick was starting to accept him.

He took the opportunity to say, "Don't worry, I won't let Sienna down again."

Frederick hesitated but didn't say anything more.

Sienna walked Bruce out.

Bruce opened the car door and turned to look at Sienna, asking softly, "Why did you suddenly agree? I thought you'd be mad at me for a long time."

The evening breeze tousled Sienna's long hair, but it couldn't hide her delicate features.

Outside, she looked even more ethereal.

Bruce couldn't help but pull Sienna closer and gave her a restrained kiss on the forehead. He then asked in a low voice, "Are you not angry anymore?"

Sienna didn't answer.

In truth, she wasn't angry anymore, but the issue was still a thorn in her heart that couldn't be easily removed.

If they were lucky, maybe after ten or twenty years of a good marriage, the memory would fade.

But for now, it was impossible...

Sienna didn't respond, and Bruce didn't get upset. He took a diamond ring from his pocket and slipped it onto her finger.

Sienna resisted.

But he was unusually insistent, coaxing her, "This is from Bruce, not your future husband! Next time, I'll bring an even bigger one!"

He playfully tapped her nose, teasing her for listening to Lola.

Sienna didn't say anything. She looked at Bruce, and suddenly her nose tingled with emotion.

She could feel that Bruce did have some feelings for her, but how wonderful it would have been if it had been like this from the start.

Her eyes grew a bit misty.

Bruce spoke softly, "Sienna, I'm really sorry! Actually..."

He wanted to say that he never liked Freya, that it was just a misunderstanding.

But saying that now would sound like an excuse, so he didn't continue and just tried to comfort her.

Sienna turned her face away, "I'm not that fragile!"

Bruce tapped her nose again.

As dusk fell and the weather was perfect, this was probably the best time they'd had in their years of dating.

He had always been too busy to spend time with her like this.

Bruce felt it was really nice!

Sienna didn't agree to a date, but Bruce showed up early the next morning, pulling Sienna out for a run.

Early in the morning, Sienna was still asleep.

The maid's voice came from the door, "Ms. Hawkins, Mr. Taylor is here, asking if you'd join him for a run!"

A run?

Sienna grabbed her phone and checked the time. It was only six in the morning.

She rolled over and lay flat. She was just dating Bruce, did it really require this?

After a few seconds, Sienna got up and ran to the balcony.

Bruce was in the yard, dressed in white sportswear, looking dazzlingly handsome.

Was he here to run or to seduce her?

Sienna suddenly thought that marriage might not be a bad thing. At least she could have Bruce in his prime for a few years.

If he ever cheated in the future, she could drag out the divorce and drive him and his mistress crazy!
