Chapter 939 One Year, If Sienna Leaves, Give Her the Son 2

Frederick didn't object, his tone much softer now. "Go ahead."

Bruce slowly made his way upstairs.

The chandelier's brilliant light illuminated his handsome face as he walked down the hallway.

Inside, he felt a mix of anxiety and urgency. He wanted to see Sienna as soon as possible, but he also feared that seeing her too quickly would mean an immediate goodbye.

He didn't knock. When he opened the door, he saw Sienna holding little Will, gently rocking him on the sofa by the window.

It was late, and the moon was bright.

Sienna's expression was incredibly tender. The way she looked at little Will was something Bruce had never seen before.

In that moment, he felt more than ever that he had transformed Sienna from a girl into a woman.

He walked over quietly.

He knelt down in front of her, and Sienna looked at him, somewhat dazed.

Will, half-asleep, seemed to sense the movement. He opened his eyes just a sliver, groggily looking at Bruce.

His little mouth moved a couple of times, but he was too sleepy to make a sound.

Will closed his eyes again, sleeping soundly.

Bruce gently touched Will, but his words were directed at Sienna. His voice was slightly hoarse, tinged with a bit of tenderness.

"Dad just talked to me. One year. If in one year I can't take care of you and the baby, or if you still haven't changed your mind, you can leave anytime, and Will goes with you."

Sienna's body trembled.

But she didn't speak, just stared at him blankly.

Bruce leaned in, his face close to Will's, which brought him very near to Sienna as well.

He whispered, "For this year, we'll live together. When you're filming, I'll take care of Will. If I'm too busy, my parents will help. Sienna, taking care of a child isn't just your responsibility. I won't neglect my career because of it. I want to be your husband and Will's father. But if I can't balance or handle these things, then I'm still not a qualified husband and don't deserve to be with you."

He said a lot, his emotions deep and sincere.

Sienna listened, somewhat dazed, then asked, "What about love, Bruce? Doesn't love matter?"

Bruce looked up.

His eyes were calm, but his heart was pounding. He gently held Sienna's hand and whispered, "If after a year you still don't love me again, I'll let you go."

After saying this, Bruce himself seemed overwhelmed.

He buried his face in the crook of Sienna's other arm. He had never felt so vulnerable, almost begging for her love.

How could he...

How could he have ever thought Sienna wasn't important?

Back then, when they broke up, he had done everything to win her back, to be with her, to marry her.

He hadn't cherished her properly.

Sienna looked down at Bruce beside her.

She had said she would think about it, but she knew that if she didn't agree, Bruce would keep pestering her.

She thought, if he wanted a chance, she would give him one.

At this moment, she didn't believe Bruce could be a good husband or father.

After a long pause, she barely audibly agreed.

Bruce could hardly believe it. It took him a while to process.

He didn't look up because his eyes were too sore and stinging.

He was afraid of losing his composure in front of Sienna.

Later, he just gently kissed Will.

He was grateful for little Will's arrival, which had saved the last thread of his relationship with Sienna.
