Chapter 876 Sienna: Yes! We Said We Were Just Playing 1

Natalie spoke softly, "Just be yourself! I don't need your pity. If feelings could be fixed with compensation, how many broken hearts would be healed?"

Clayton watched her quietly.

He wanted to ask something, like if they were still young, would she have forgiven him and been with him, just like she did with Grant back then.

But he didn't ask, because the answer was obvious.

They were together now because it was the choice of the current Natalie, not the younger Natalie.

He felt a bit disappointed, but he also thought she made sense.

Yeah, how many broken relationships really get mended?

Over the weekend, the Devereux family moved to Syeattel, into a villa Clayton had bought.

The villa was spacious, three stories high. Andrew and Chloe lived on the first floor, Clayton, Natalie, and the kids on the second, and the third floor housed Clayton's study, gym, and Natalie's art studio.

The front yard was picturesque, and the backyard had a large swimming pool.

That evening, Clayton swam a few laps in the pool.

When he got out, Haven was there with Mercy and Leopold, all staring at him in the dark... admiring his fit physique.

Leopold crossed his arms, "Mr. Percy, aren't you cold?"

Clayton dried himself with a towel and looked at the brightly lit house, "Not at all! Want to give it a try?"

Leopold wasn't interested!

Clayton walked past the kids, then turned back, "Go inside! It's cold out here! Don't fall into the pool!"

After he left, Mercy stared for a while and said to Haven, "He's got a great body!"

She added, "My dad only works out twice a week, and he always asks my mom if he looks good or if he needs to work out more!"

Haven was too young to understand any of this!

She was still at the age of chasing adults for candy.

Leopold led them back to the villa.

Because of the move-in, the Devereux and Hawkins families were almost all there. Frederick and Andrew were talking, as were their wives.

Johnny and his wife, Kingsley and his wife, Gavin and his wife... even Landon and Caitlyn came to show support. Katelyn didn't come because Zayne wasn't feeling well.

It was lively.

Only Sienna was still single, though she wasn't in a hurry, but the older generation was quite anxious.

Especially Frederick, who said, "You're in the entertainment industry, always out of sight! And now you don't even have a partner!"

Chloe smiled, "Charlotte has a wide network, she won't have trouble meeting eligible young men."

Frederick looked at Andrew, "Charlotte does know a lot of people, but they have to be willing to meet her! She's turned down quite a few suitors these past two years. Sometimes I wonder if she likes girls."

Andrew, looking open-minded, said, "If she likes girls, she's still your daughter, right?"

Frederick got anxious, "If she really brings home a wife, Charlotte and I will still accept her and give her a proper welcome gift!"

Andrew knew he was just putting on a brave face, he must be worried inside!

Chloe pondered, "Last year, I saw her on a date with the Taylor family's son. They looked very sweet together! That boy's name is Bruce Taylor, and he's quite important in the Taylor family!"

Frederick knew about him.

When they called Sienna over, she changed the subject.

The older folks knew this wasn't reliable, Bruce from the Taylor family was probably just playing around!

Frederick watched Sienna. He hadn't been strict with her these years, partly because she was older and harder to control, but at her age, if she wanted to get married, it couldn't be delayed any longer!

Of course, he wouldn't say it outright.

He just told Sienna, "Your mom knows a few good people. If it's convenient, meet them."

Sienna didn't refuse.

But she didn't mention Bruce either.

Late at night, the Devereux and Hawkins families dispersed and went home.

Sienna drove her red sports car back to her apartment, which was actually the place she shared with Bruce. He had bought the place, and over two years, it felt like home.

But in the past six months, he had been coming home less.

After her bath, Sienna was painting her toenails on the couch, thinking... it started with him coming over twice a week, then once a week, and now she only saw him two or three times a month!

He must have found someone new!

She stared blankly, recalling what Frederick said tonight. He must have heard something to suggest she go on dates. She wanted to ask Bruce about it.

She had a feeling he would come home tonight.

Sure enough, Bruce came back around midnight!

He managed the Taylor Group and had many social engagements, so he often came home with a bit of alcohol on him, but it wasn't unpleasant... he was always in control and never got drunk.

"You're back!"

Sienna helped him take off his coat, saying gently, "Rest for a bit, I'll run you a bath!"

As she was about to leave, he grabbed her hand.

Then she fell into Bruce's arms, one in a sharp suit, the other in a bathrobe... he held her chin and kissed her.

Maybe it had been half a month since they last made love, he didn't even bother to bathe, taking her on the couch twice.

Afterward, Bruce went to the bathroom to shower.

The sound of running water...

Sienna lay on the couch for a long time before getting up.

Even after two years of living together, she still wasn't used to his dominance in bed.

She habitually hung up his suit, but as she picked up his coat, his phone fell out. It was still on a Facebook chat, showing a conversation with a young woman.

The chat was quite innocent, not sexual at all!

But it showed he valued her, responding with long messages and actively asking her out... unlike his attitude towards Sienna.

Freya Stewart: [Mr. Taylor, thank you so much for today!]

Bruce: [It was nothing! Don't worry about it!]

Bruce: [I'll have my secretary dry clean your dress and send it over tomorrow... but if you don't mind, I'd like to deliver it myself. I was thinking of having dinner at that little restaurant near your place.]

Sienna watched quietly.

She could tell Bruce cared about this girl. She only typed a few words, but he responded with long messages and eagerly asked her out... what kind of girl could make the proud Bruce so attentive?

Just then, the bathroom door opened.

Bruce stood at the door, his tall, muscular body wrapped in a towel. He had intended to make love again, but seeing Sienna with his phone, he lost interest!

Sienna was indeed beautiful, probably the most beautiful girlfriend he had ever had, and her family background was perfect for his family's standards.

But after two years, he never felt the urge to marry her... as a man, he understood this feeling meant he was tired of her!

But both of them valued their dignity and wouldn't tear each other apart.

After all, they had agreed to live together, and if it worked out, they'd marry; if not, they'd part ways.

He walked over, took his phone, and said calmly, "You saw it?"
