Chapter 86 Ethan, You Need a Good Lesson

Frederick gave a reserved smile. "What about Mr. Cooper?"

Ulysses raised his chin slightly. "Don't worry. We're taking good care of him."

Frederick walked in.

The police station was bustling with activity. Daniel was munching on a box of instant noodles, clearly enjoying it. Henry and Julia sat silently. Julia, in a black camisole under a suit jacket, was shivering. She heard footsteps, looked up, and froze. She had never seen such a handsome and noble man before!

His refined and serene demeanor made her feel extremely inadequate, like she didn't deserve to be in his presence.

Frederick's gaze fell on her face. She bore some resemblance to Charlotte, and Frederick immediately guessed what had happened.

He sneered and looked at Ethan.

Ethan met Frederick's gaze. There was a barely noticeable hint of provocation in his dark eyes, something others might not see, but Frederick saw clearly.

He chuckled lightly, not bothering to argue.

"Ulysses," Frederick spoke softly. "What procedures do I need to follow?"

Ulysses had already prepared the receipt. "Just sign and pay."

Frederick glanced at it briefly, then said indifferently, "I'll bail out all of them, and about tonight's incident..."

Ulysses understood well. The wealthy fear scandals the most, especially when they have a troublesome in-law. He immediately smiled. "Mr. Hawkins, rest assured. This matter ends here."

Frederick quickly completed the procedures.

Daniel shouted, "Who asked him to do it? I don't want to owe him any favors."

Ulysses was about to scold him.

Frederick raised his hand slightly, took out his phone, and said casually, "Fine! I'll call Mr. Xavier Brown to come and get you! Let him know what his good son has been up to!"

Daniel's face turned red. This man actually knew his father!

Seeing him quiet down, Frederick didn't make things difficult for him and walked out of the station.

Ulysses kissed the check and waved enthusiastically. "Mr. Hawkins, see you next time."

Frederick ignored him. He got into his car, lit a cigarette, and smoked leisurely.

Ethan walked over.

Frederick said calmly, "Get in the car."

Ethan seemed to have expected this; he smirked slightly, opened the car door, and got in.

As soon as he got in, Frederick started the car. The luxury car had excellent performance and accelerated quickly. Ethan, having drunk a lot, felt a wave of nausea and suspected Frederick was doing it on purpose.

Frederick drove fast, leaving the bustling streetlights behind.

Inside the car, no one spoke.

After about half an hour, Frederick stopped the car by the seaside. The surroundings were very quiet, with only the sound of waves hitting the shore.

"Get out." Frederick's voice was cold.

Ethan sneered and followed Frederick out of the car.

As soon as he got out, Frederick took off his jacket and unbuttoned a few buttons on his shirt. He started to fight without any words.

A punch swung over, and Ethan was knocked back several steps.

He steadied himself and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth.

Frederick kicked him again. "Ethan, did you really think the Hawkins family had no one left? If you didn't like Chloe, you shouldn't have led her on. Seeing her so in love with you, loving you to the point of suicide, does that make you feel accomplished?"

Ethan was kicked to the ground. He clutched his stomach in pain but still managed to squeeze out a smile. "I'm a bastard! I wronged her! And you, Frederick? Didn't you know what kind of person I am? Yet you still married Chloe to me. You're not exactly a saint either. You knew Charlotte was my ex-girlfriend. Why are you still choosing to be with her?"

Ethan was furious.
