Chapter 556 To the Hotel, or My Place?

The moon was shining bright, but the stars were few and far between.

Johnny stood in the front yard of the villa, just staring off into the distance.

Darren had something to take care of and had to leave early.

Lola walked him to his car. Darren opened the door with one hand and leaned in to talk to her.

He must be really sweet.

Lola gave a soft smile, and then Darren kissed her gently behind the ear, a mix of desire and tenderness that only lovers share.

After that tender moment, Darren got in the car and drove off.

The black luxury car slowly disappeared into the night.

Lola stood there for a bit, then turned to head back to the banquet hall, where she saw Johnny standing under a tree.

The shadows from the leaves made his face look dark and hard to read; he definitely didn't look happy.

He pulled a cigarette from his pocket and lit it.

But he just held it between his fingers, not smoking, just staring at her.

Lola didn't want to deal with him and walked past him.

He grabbed her arm and pinned her against the tree. The rough bark scratched her skin, causing some pain, but the secretive setting added a thrill.

Johnny leaned in close to the back of her neck.

She thought he was going to kiss her, but he didn't.

The hand holding the cigarette freed two fingers and gently rubbed the spot where Darren had kissed her.

It started gentle, then got rough.

"You can't wipe it off," Lola said softly. "Don't waste your time."

Johnny looked up.

His eyes were dark and intense, staring at her for a long time. He asked in a hoarse voice, "You knew I was following you, did it on purpose for me to see? What are you trying to prove? That I still like you and would be upset about this?"

Lola felt humiliated and turned her face slightly. "Do you even know what you're doing?"

"I know!" He leaned in closer, his voice even rougher. "I want to make you suffer!"

Lola glared at him and pushed him away hard.

But this time, it was clear Johnny wasn't letting her go.

Even though things were a mess between them.

Later, they would fight in court for Angelina's custody. Even though they hated each other now, it didn't change one fact: he still wanted her.

Since Lola left, Johnny missed her all the time.

He forcefully took her to the car; Lola struggled fiercely, and Johnny held her down with one hand, expressionless, and told the driver, "Back to the villa!"

"I don't want to!" Lola pounded on the car window. "Johnny, you're crazy!"

She did have a plan, wanting to have sex with him.

But with the driver there, and his villa so close to where she lived, Lola couldn't accept it.

She thought it should be in a hotel.

The car door locked, Johnny let her go and sat upright, looking dignified.

He even took a bottle of red wine from the cooler, poured himself a glass, and savored Lola's panic.

"Don't worry! I won't tell him!" he said nastily.

Lola glared at him and kicked him, spilling his drink, staining the expensive carpet in the car with red wine, but he didn't care much.

His body trembled slightly, anticipating the upcoming possession of not just her body, but her entire being.

Halfway there, Johnny suddenly changed his mind, and the car headed to his apartment.

The car stopped, it was almost 9 PM.

With people coming and going, Lola didn't dare argue loudly with him; the Hawkins family couldn't afford to be embarrassed.

She thought, 'Anyway, it's going to happen, it doesn't matter where.'

These days were her fertile period.

But she was still reluctant, partly genuinely unwilling, and partly because no one likes being forced into such things.

Johnny was rough, almost vulgar.

After swiping the card to enter, he threw her onto the soft sofa, Lola's face buried in the sofa, hearing the faint sound of unbuttoning behind her.

A crisp sound, and the belt fell to the ground.

He held her by the waist, forcing a kiss, and took her body.

Johnny was very aroused, working for a long time, his voice trembling. "Why don't you feel anything yet?"

She wasn't like this before!

He thought of her submissive look in front of Darren, and his heart burned with anger, teasing her more harshly, but Lola still didn't feel much, so he just went ahead with it.

Johnny's sweat dripped, staining the sofa, and dripping onto her neck.

Johnny was very rough.

By the third time, he calmed down a bit and became a little gentler.

Kissing the skin behind her neck, washing away where Darren had kissed, and re-staining it with his own scent.

Lola was a mess under him.

By dawn, he was finally satisfied.

The two lay together, breathing lightly, and after a long time, Johnny kissed her behind the ear again. Even though he didn't say anything, Lola knew he couldn't let go of Darren.

She rested for a while, gently pushed him away, and said softly, "Don't leave any marks!"

This seemed to provoke him.

Johnny went a bit crazy, holding her head and kissing her wildly, forcing her to kiss back.

Her body was beautiful, but he had made a mess of it.

Lola angrily pushed him away. "Are you an idiot?"

Johnny bounced back against the sofa, not caring that he was still naked, chuckling and lighting a cigarette.

Through the smoke, he stared at her back.

Lola was already getting dressed, but the dress couldn't cover everything.

He said, "If you don't want him to know, hide for a few days!"

Lola paused, took off the dress, and went to the bedroom to shower.

Since it was done, there was no need to be pretentious.

Johnny slowly finished his cigarette and followed her into the bathroom, not to do anything more, just to talk to her.

The bathroom was filled with steam and silence.

Lola finished her shower, put on a bathrobe, and walked into the dressing room.

There were always a few of her clothes in there.

As she pulled out some clothes, Johnny leaned against the door and asked softly, "Why did you agree to sleep with me? Can't he satisfy you?"

Lola put on her clothes. "It was just a one-time thing, don't take yourself too seriously!"

He licked his lips and grabbed her. "What if I tell him?"

Lola looked at him. "Would you?"

Johnny laughed. "Depends on how you behave."

He wore a bitter smile. He wanted to tell her to come back, but he knew she wouldn't agree; she liked Darren now!

Johnny suddenly got angry.

He was much more distant and cold than when he was being aggressive earlier. He put on a bathrobe and walked to the balcony, looking like he was keeping everyone at arm's length. "Ms. Hawkins is right, it was just a one-time thing!"

He lowered his head and smiled faintly. "No matter how bad I am, I don't need to cling to someone else's things."

After a moment, their eyes met as he looked at Lola.

Lola gently looked away. "I'm leaving."

Johnny's Adam's apple bobbed, and after a long time, he said, "Do you need me to call a car for you?"

"I can call one myself."

Lola said this as she threw the dress into the trash can. Just as she was about to leave, Johnny said softly from behind her, "Did you dress so beautifully tonight just to seduce me?"

Lola ignored him and walked straight out.

The door closed gently, and Johnny stared in the direction she left, lost in thought for a long time.

Suddenly, a warm drop of something fell on his arm.

He looked up slightly.

It turned out that after he got her, he realized how completely he had lost.

When he possessed her just now, she was barely involved, softly uttering Darren's name.

Johnny laughed lightly.

Lola returned home, close to 2 AM.

Darren was still awake.

He had left a dim yellow light on and was sitting quietly on the sofa in the living room, reading a book, waiting for her.

Lola came in, looking a bit tired.

Darren looked up at her. He was a man, and from her expression and posture, he could tell that Johnny had held her.

After a few seconds of hesitation, he got up and poured her a glass of water, then said very gently, "I'll make you something to eat."

Lola stopped him. "Darren."

Her voice was hoarse, not sure if it was from sadness or physical strain.

Darren didn't ask; he just walked over to her.

Lola leaned lightly on his shoulder and spoke softly, "Once I'm pregnant, we'll go back to Novaria."

Darren didn't ask what if she couldn't get pregnant.

He just softly responded, then patted her and went to the kitchen.

He made a bowl of ravioli, with Lola's favorite filling, but Lola couldn't finish half of it.

She recalled the sex in the apartment.

No, it was the lowest form of physical exchange between a man and a woman; she felt like vomiting.

She finally couldn't hold it in and ran to the bathroom to throw up.

Darren stood by the door, not approaching.

Lola washed her face with cold water, and when she calmed down, she looked at him in the mirror and said softly, "I will get pregnant."

Darren felt a bit sad.

He even wanted to tell her to go back to Johnny and stop torturing herself.

But he couldn't say it.

Lola had already cut off her retreat, making Johnny believe she was in a relationship with Darren.

A man like Johnny, even if he didn't mind now, would make life difficult if they were really together. As long as he still loved Lola, he wouldn't be indifferent.

The next day, Frederick called her home.

Lola guessed that Kingsley had also attended the banquet last night and probably snitched.

Frederick must have something to ask.

She drove back to Hawkins Mansion alone, and as soon as she parked, she saw Johnny in the parking lot.

Lola got out of the car and closed the door.

"Mr. Flores, you're everywhere!"

Johnny leaned against the car door, kicking a small stone, and looked up. "Can't I come back to see my parents?"

Lola wouldn't be that naive.

She ignored him and wanted to leave, but Johnny called her back.

He slowly walked over, leaned in close to her, and looked at the high-necked clothes she was wearing today.

Johnny laughed. "How dare you come back? Didn't Darren react when he saw you like this?"

"None of your business!"

Lola sneered. "Mr. Flores, you're not what you used to be! Whether it's technically or physically, you've regressed quite a bit. No matter how rich you are, you can't spare some money to practice? Being so stingy isn't like Mr. Flores's style!"

She was sharp-tongued and unyielding.

Johnny laughed sarcastically. "You weren't satisfied last night? You weren't satisfied, yet you were willing to do it with me four times?"

Lola glared at him and walked towards the hall.

Johnny said from behind, "You don't even walk naturally!"

Lola took off her high heels and threw them at him. Johnny easily dodged and wanted to say something, but Frederick's voice came from the second floor. "What are you two doing?"

When the three met in the hall, Frederick was drinking water and rubbing his forehead. "One is a mother, and the other is now the CEO of a publicly traded company, the second-largest company in Aasias, yet you're still fighting like children. Do you have any shame?"

Anyway, Frederick was too ashamed, especially to face Darren.

Last night, Kingsley had come back and told him, "Dad, Lola and Johnny are still together! They left the banquet first, got into a car together! They kissed before getting in the car, and it looked like they were either going to a hotel or a place to stay! Our family might be having another wedding soon!"

The word "another" was used very aptly.

Frederick was furious.

It wasn't that he didn't want the two kids to be together, but wasn't Darren with Lola? Although he didn't like people from the entertainment industry much, Darren was a good kid now, wasn't he? Hadn't he left the industry?

He looked clean, and his temperament seemed stable.

Actually, he was more suitable for Lola than Johnny, but such a good person was being let down!

Frederick got up and paced back and forth, finally stopping. "When did you start messing around together? Do you think it's fair to Darren? How did I raise you? To be faithful and keep your promises!"

Just then, Kingsley came downstairs.

He had socialized late last night and looked a bit tired today.

Lola glanced at him.

Kingsley was fastening his diamond watch, smiling. "I quite like Darren! Lola, you can't bully a sincere person."

Lola wanted him to shut up!

Frederick nodded in agreement. "Right! Just because Darren is devoted to you doesn't mean you can treat him like this! Should I tell Darren, or will you two promise to break it off?"

Denial was no longer an option.

Lola simply admitted and promised. "I'll break it off with him! I'll live well with Darren!"

Frederick looked at Johnny. "What's your attitude?"

Johnny looked down, playing with a lighter, nonchalantly. "Fine."

Frederick went upstairs angrily. "Alright, I won't meddle in your affairs anymore!"

Unable to handle it, he decided to inform Charlotte, leaving her to deal with it.

Lola also left, leaving Johnny and Kingsley in the living room. Johnny squinted at the younger man and asked coldly, "I don't believe you really like Darren!"

Kingsley was such a hypocritical, cold, and arrogant person.

How could he care about Darren?

Kingsley fastened his watch; he had a golf game to play later. He looked at the man in front of him.

He was really a mess because of love!

Kingsley laughed lightly. "Isn't this exactly what you want? My dad may side with Darren verbally, but he actually hopes Lola chooses you! He's hypocritical! Lola is just like him! Johnny, do you really think Lola is still willing to play with you now?"
