Chapter 912 Now, Do You Still Want to Marry Me?

Bruce arranged everything and then headed downstairs.

Once in the car, he paused for a moment before starting the engine and driving to find Sienna.

That morning, Sienna had woken up in Bruce's bed, so he knew she had a photoshoot today for a skincare ad at a studio downtown.

Sienna wasn't very career-driven and worked infrequently. Bruce never questioned her about it, nor did he expect her to become a full-time housewife. He just wanted her to be happy.

Half an hour later, the car pulled up at the studio.

Sienna had just finished her shoot and was still in her bathrobe, sitting in the makeup room removing her makeup.

When Bruce walked in, she saw him in the mirror and gave a barely noticeable smile. "What brings you here?"

Bruce sat down next to her.

"I wanted to see you and take you out for dinner. Do you want to eat out or go back to the villa?" he asked, but before Sienna could answer, he made the decision himself. "Let's go back to the villa. It's quieter."

Sienna continued to remove her makeup slowly.

She had great skin, and without makeup, she looked even younger and more delicate.

Perhaps it was because she had been pampered all her life, but there was no trace of the entertainment industry's harshness on her.

Sienna wasn't naive.

Bruce showing up to pick her up at this time, especially since he usually scheduled their dates in advance, meant something was up.

Their relationship had been good lately, but not to the point of spontaneous visits.

She guessed Bruce had something on his mind but chose not to confront him about it.

After finishing her makeup removal, Sienna needed to change clothes.

The makeup artist and assistant left the room, but Bruce showed no intention of leaving.

Sienna leaned lightly against the vanity, her long legs partially visible, quite enticing.

She spoke directly to Bruce, "Some couples get so comfortable that the wife doesn't even close the bathroom door in front of the husband. But Bruce, I don't plan to be that kind of wife, especially since we're not married yet."

She asked him to step out.

Bruce's initially bad mood inexplicably improved. Instead of leaving immediately, he stepped closer, gently hugged her, and kissed her, his hands wandering.

Honestly, with Bruce's looks and skills, any woman would be tempted.

Sienna felt it too, but she kept her head clear. She was sure he had something on his mind, so she looked up and softly asked, "Did something happen?"

Bruce nodded.

He told Sienna the truth: Freya had approached him, and he had refused her demands. He might be facing a scandal soon.

He looked into her eyes and said, "If it happens, the best thing for you would be to leave as a victim and not marry me."

Sienna was momentarily stunned.

She could imagine what Freya might reveal, and it sent a chill through her.

But she helped Bruce straighten his shirt and focused on a button. "You came to see my reaction?"

"No," Bruce said softly. "I came to be with you."

If a storm was coming, he didn't want Sienna to be caught off guard by reporters asking uncomfortable questions.

He cared for Sienna and saw her as his wife. He should be the one to protect her.

Sienna thought it over carefully.

Then she looked up and said seriously, "What happened is in the past, and I've already forgiven you once. The next forgiveness will be from the public towards the Taylor Group."

"Bruce, I can't say if this will affect our life after marriage, but if you're asking if I want to call off the wedding, my answer is no."

"Of course, if you find it too difficult to handle, then we can end it."

Bruce hugged Sienna tightly.

He spoke softly, "If we get married, there might be a long period where I'm not working. I need to prepare to resign."

Just then, Sienna's assistant rushed in, looking panicked.

"Miss Hawkins, something happened!"

"A woman named Freya has exposed her chat records with Mr. Taylor. She says she's going to hold a press conference to reveal their relationship."

Sienna looked at Bruce.

She asked him, "So, where are we having dinner?"
