Chapter 584 Just Have the Baby!

Amara was pinned against the door by him, and he was saying something that sounded almost like a marriage proposal.

He expressed his desire to take her to Syeattel.

She believed every word he said and thought he had really thought it through.

Amara's mind was spinning, and all her thoughts boiled down to one thing: she wanted to marry him!

But she still had her doubts.

She curled up in his arms, not daring to move or look at his handsome face. She only dared to carefully extend her slender fingers and gently touch his nose to please him. "Your nose is really straight!"

Kingsley's breathing got a bit heavier.

He slowly leaned in, his voice hoarse. "I'm talking about serious stuff, and you're still trying to tease me! Doesn't your body hurt anymore?"

He seemed ready to go again.

Amara didn't dare provoke him further.

She nestled against his shoulder, wrapping her arms around his neck, her voice soft. "You just like to bully me!"

"Who else would I bully if not you?"

They were so close, and he kissed her until she was weak, then carried her to the bed in the master bedroom. He pleased her well.

Amara's face was buried in the pillow, her eyes red, gazing at him with deep emotion. Maybe because of the intensity of the moment, his face looked a bit different than usual, but it only added to his masculine appeal.

Amara's heart fluttered. She moved down, cupped his face, and began to kiss him.

Kingsley didn't move, his blue eyes watching her.

Amara blushed. "I want to please you well!"

He chuckled lightly. How old was she? Usually so timid, did she even know how to please him well?

Suddenly, he couldn't help but gently tug at her hair, his voice trembling. "Amara?"

Amara blushed. She had never done something so bold before.

In the end, Kingsley couldn't resist and made love to her.

Afterwards, he didn't rush to get up and wash.

He held her body with one arm, reached out with the other, and took out a small velvet box from his pants by the bed. Inside was a sparkling diamond necklace, looking quite valuable.

"Is this for me?" Amara was a bit delighted and was about to take it. "When did you buy it?"

But Kingsley said lazily, "This is for Rebecca!"

Amara's face showed a look of disappointment.

It wasn't that she particularly liked jewelry, but he heartlessly broke all her hopes, and she was sure he did it on purpose.

She turned her back to him, somewhat haughty. "If it's not for me, why are you showing it to me?"

Kingsley secretly found it amusing.

He played with the necklace with one hand and hugged her with the other. "Are you angry? You said you're not a little pet, but getting angry so easily, what else could you be?"

"I'm not a little pet!"

Kingsley casually put the box aside. He turned over, trapping her under his body, and shamelessly whispered in her ear, "You love eating carrots so much, and you still say you're not a little bunny?"

He said this while teasing her, who was soft and gentle. Then her face buried in his chest.

He was too bad!

Kingsley felt satisfied.

Actually, he was just teasing her. He had just taken the time to buy a gift for Rebecca. For Amara, he would of course choose carefully, preferably having a famous designer create it.

Their engagement ring couldn't be chosen hastily!

He held Amara in his arms, feeling more joy than he had in the past 20 years combined, so much that he could hardly contain it. But such intense emotions eventually settled into calmness.

He still held her in his arms on the bed and said gently, "I love you."

He was extremely serious.

Amara trembled, lightly sniffed, and hugged him tightly.

Kingsley asked softly, "You've made love with me; come home with me."

Without waiting for her answer, he laughed, then pinched her cheek. "What if you get pregnant since we didn't use protection today? You'd have to stay with me."

Amara sat up. She didn't realize how seductive her posture was, with her long, still-damp hair draped over her shoulders. He was moved by the sight.

She half-knelt, tugging at his hand. "Can you go buy me some contraceptive pills?"

Kingsley rested one hand behind his head.

He quietly admired her, then smiled silently. "If you get pregnant, we can have the baby. My dad can't wait for me to have a child for him to hold!"

He said this while lightly scratching her cheek. "You're already bossing me around!"

Amara blushed, trying to sound justified. "You didn't use a condom when we made love!"

Kingsley chuckled, then sat up, holding her and kissing her.

They kissed for a long time, and he said softly, "You don't need to take contraceptive pills! Amara, I want to get married."

He was already at the age to get married, and he genuinely wanted to live with Amara, so there was no need for her to take birth control pills, which were also bad for her health.

Kingsley added, "Aren't you afraid of taking medicine? If I buy it, I'd have to coax you to take it, and what if I can't control myself while coaxing you? The contraceptive pills would be wasted."

He coaxed her. "If you have to take it every time we make love, think about how many pills you'd have to take?"

Amara really didn't understand this.

She was stunned for a long time before hesitantly asking, "Really? Do I have to take six pills?"

Kingsley nodded. "I've heard that women should take no more than two pills a year. If you take these six pills, it would be an overdose, and it probably wouldn't work. It might even affect the baby's growth."

Amara had already given up on taking the pills!

She thought, 'If I get pregnant, I will just have the baby.'

After teasing her, Kingsley coaxed her to sleep for a while. He had an international video conference at night and got up gently without waking Amara.

He stood by the bed, getting dressed, and couldn't help but gently stroke her cheek. And he thought, 'She is so obedient!'

Amara turned over, probably feeling hot, and pulled the blanket down a bit.

Kingsley leaned over and covered her with the blanket.

When he put her hand back under the blanket, he felt the wound on her hand. His eyes darkened slightly, and after a moment, he found some hand cream and gently applied it to her.

As he quietly left, Amara opened her eyes.

She raised her hand, quietly looking at it. She had woken up when he was applying the hand cream.

If she had liked Kingsley for various reasons before, at this moment, she was moved by his love.

She knew she wasn't worthy of being with him, but she still fell for him.

Amara closed her eyes, but after a while, she couldn't help but open them again. She threw off the blanket and ran towards the study.

Over there, Kingsley had just entered the study, as he liked to be early.

The camera was on, but he was the only one in the video conference.

He stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, opened it, and wanted to smoke a cigarette to refresh himself. No matter how energetic he was, making love all day would still be exhausting. But just as he had smoked half a cigarette, Amara hugged him from behind.

Kingsley was slightly stunned. Then he put out the cigarette and asked gently, "Why are you awake?"

Amara didn't know he was having a meeting.

She hugged him softly, wanting to make him happy, her fingers tightening around his waist.

He guessed that she had woken up earlier and was feeling touched!

He turned around, gently ruffled her hair, and noticed she was still wearing his black shirt. She was so petite that it could be worn as a nightgown. "Go back to sleep; I have a meeting to attend!"

Amara was reluctant, looking up and asking softly, "Will it take long? Can I stay with you?"

Kingsley sighed lightly. "You're so clingy!"

The meeting would last four hours. She really should go to bed early, especially since she hadn't been doing well these past two months and had lost a lot of weight. Although she felt soft when he held her, she still needed to gain some weight.

But Amara still wanted to stay with him.

If he didn't agree, she would cling to him.

Kingsley had no choice but to compromise. Just as he was about to, a familiar voice sounded from the other side of the meeting. It was none other than Frederick. "Kingsley, what are you doing! You've turned an international meeting into a love broadcast. Mr. Brown called me in the middle of the night to watch the live broadcast! By the way, my dad is also in the conference room watching!"

The scene was momentarily out of control.

Kingsley turned his head and indeed saw a bunch of elderly faces on the screen, the most prominent being Frederick.

Kingsley expressionlessly turned off the camera. Then he looked at Amara again. Fortunately, she was well-covered and didn't expose herself.

Amara was also stunned, looking at him foolishly, afraid he would be angry.

Kingsley lightly tapped her head, carried her to the sofa where the camera couldn't see, and got her a cup of milk before turning the camera back on to start the meeting.

The study was softly lit.

Kingsley didn't talk much, mostly listening to the employees' reports. Amara only half-understood what they were saying.

Amara treated the reports as lullabies.

She wanted to stay with him, but after half an hour, she couldn't hold on and slowly closed her eyes.

Kingsley got up and covered her with a small blanket.

He looked at her sleeping face for a while.

Returning to the meeting, Frederick lightly coughed. "Kingsley, where did you go?"

Kingsley replied seriously, "Amara fell asleep; I covered her with a blanket."

"Alright, we can't let Amara catch a cold!"

Frederick and Kingsley chatted for a good five minutes, all about Amara.

Others then knew that the woman in Kingsley's room was his girlfriend.

Frederick listened to some congratulatory words and kept being modest. "I can't be too happy yet. Kingsley should have been married long ago. Look at the Kelley family's son, he's two years younger than Kingsley and already has two kids."

Kingsley remained serious. "I won't let you down."

Frederick ended the meeting, satisfied.

Hours later, Kingsley had his turn.

He walked to the sofa and gently tickled Amara's face, waking her up. "Are you hungry? Want to get up and eat something?"

Amara said instinctively, "I'll make it for you?"

Kingsley patted her head. "We're at the hotel; we can order food."

He carried her back to the bedroom, held her, and ordered room service for two plates of spaghetti.

While eating spaghetti, he suddenly looked up. "There's a problem with a merger case at the company. I have to go back tomorrow."

Amara took small bites of spaghetti. She lowered her eyes, and after a while, said softly, "I'll go back with you."
