Chapter 931 Sienna, Is Kissing and Touching Not Allowed Either? 2
Sienna shook her head, her slender shoulders leaning against the door.
Her long hair cascaded down her back, giving her an air of mature elegance.
She pressed her hand against Bruce's shoulder and whispered, "No, Bruce, please, no."
In the dim light, his gaze was intense.
After a long pause, he asked softly, "Have you thought about me all these years?"
Sienna gave a bitter smile. "Yeah, I have. I think about the good times. It makes me feel a little better."
During those couple of years, she was pregnant and abroad, unable to return.
It was lonely.
Bruce looked down at her radiant face.
For a long time, he didn't do anything else. His voice softened as he spoke, "You stay with Will. I'll sleep in the guest room."
He said he would leave, but he still carried her to the bed, placing her at the foot.
He didn't kiss Sienna again but stayed close to her, his hot breath on her face, his eyes fixed on her for a long, long time.
He whispered, "I've thought about you too."
Their eyes met, and neither spoke.
Finally, Sienna turned her face away and said softly, "Aren't you going to the guest room? It's late."
Bruce leaned close to her ear and said softly, "Rest well. I won't disturb your thoughts."
He left, and the bedroom remained dim.
Sienna lay on her side, looking at little Will's profile.
Even in the dim light, she could see he resembled Bruce.
The words Bruce had said to her made her feel somewhat hesitant.
She didn't sleep well that night.
Early in the morning, Bruce returned to the bedroom, and Sienna was still asleep.
Little Will was awake, though. The six-month-old baby hadn't learned to roll over yet.
He had wet his pants and was hungry, but miraculously, he didn't cry.
His big eyes looked at Bruce, his legs kicking.
With the experience from yesterday, Bruce had gained some confidence in taking care of the baby.
He efficiently changed Will's diaper, cleaned his little bottom, wiped his hands and feet, and then started preparing the formula.
As Will nestled in his arms, drinking from the bottle and staring at him, Bruce felt a surge of indescribable emotion.
It was a feeling he couldn't quite describe, even making him feel like crying.
Finally, he gently pressed his cheek against Will's.
This was his flesh and blood, Sienna's and his child, a living, breathing little being, warm and real in his arms.
When Sienna woke up, she saw the tears in the corner of his eyes.
She didn't say anything, just leaned quietly against the headboard, watching him.
Bruce turned and saw she was awake.
At that moment, her expression was soft, her eyes free of resentment towards him, as if she had never left, as if they had spent two happy years together and were still living together now.
Bruce just looked at her quietly.
After a long time, little Will cried out twice, then stopped, looking at Bruce with his big eyes and shaking the bottle in his hand.
Bruce didn't understand what he meant.
Sienna spoke softly, "He probably isn't full. I'll make him some more food in a bit."
Bruce set the bottle down.
He played with Will, glancing up to see Sienna getting out of bed.
Since their reunion, he often watched her quietly, for a long time, while she seemed to ignore it.
She seemed to have forgotten that she once liked him, was infatuated with him.
A single phone call, a Facebook message from Bruce used to make her happy for a long time.
