Chapter 145 Trouble
Upon seeing the marriage certificate, Celia almost had a breakdown.
Just yesterday morning, she had humiliated someone, and today her son brought someone home.
Celia's blood pressure instantly rose, and her voice became sharp and thin: "Finnegan, are you crazy? How could you marry that kind of woman? Marriage is not a joke. How could you just get a marriage certificate so casually? I'm your mother, and you didn't even tell me in advance."
Celia's voice was loud, and her emotions were intense. The commotion she caused was loud enough for Jude to hear from outside in the yard.
Jude quickly entered the living room, looking confused: "What happened? Why are you arguing again? You two, mother and son, why can't you get along when you meet? Celia, what did you do?"
"Your son, he got married," Celia angrily pointed at Finnegan. "Without a word, he got a marriage certificate. He completely disregarded us as his parents and married that kind of woman."
Upon hearing the news of Finnegan's marriage, Jude was also shocked, but then pleasantly surprised: "Son, you got married? Where's your wife? Why didn't you bring her back? This is a good thing, son getting married."
Jude was quite happy. He had been worried that his son wouldn't get married.

Upon hearing this, Celia immediately turned her anger towards Jude, reaching out and hitting his shoulder: "What are you happy about? Your son didn't marry Niamh, Abbott's Family and Parks Family's engagement. He married a bad woman."
Unable to bear Celia's criticism of Ophelia, Finnegan coldly interrupted, emphasizing: "My wife's name is Ophelia, and she is not a terrible person."
Jude was very interested in his daughter-in-law, and he leaned over to look at the photo on the marriage certificate: "This girl looks familiar, like I've seen her somewhere..."

Celia glared fiercely at Jude and angrily said, "What's so good about it? I don't agree with this marriage, Finnegan, you need to get a divorce now."
Jude interjected, reminding them: "The Marriage Registry Office has regulations. If you get a marriage certificate on the same day, you can't get divorced on the same day."
Celia rolled her eyes at him.
Finnegan said sternly, "Marriage is not a joke, Mom, that's what you said just now."
How could you just get a divorce so easily?
Celia was so angry that her son and husband were both infuriating her.
Celia, still feeling shocked, asked, "What did you say? You married Dovie?"
