Chapter 223 Congratulations
When Ophe heard it, she felt happy for him. Everyone has their selfish desires, and Ophe was to hope that Magnus wouldn't be held back by his original family.
"It's a good thing they're going back to their hometown," Ophe said. "Explain to them that your career here is better than going back home. They should understand."

"Okay, I had the same plan. I'll persuade them later." Magnus smiled and said, " Sometimes they are stubborn."
"Understood." Ophe served some food for him. "You should eat something first and taste it. By the way, why do they decide to go back to their hometown? Will everyone go back? What about Serenity?"
Magnus didn't tell Ophe all the facts, and Ophe wasn't very clear either, so he didn't think it was a big deal and felt fortunate for Magnus.
"They all want to go back." Magnus took a sip of coffee and said, "Let's not talk about these things. Let me taste the food first."
At this moment, Finnegan also came over and entered through the door.
Ophe smiled and said, "Aren't you going to accompany CEO Walker and the others?"
"Let them drink first; I came to see you. The restaurant is busy today, so don't walk around too much, and be careful not to bump into anything." Finnegan naturally sat down next to Ophe and greeted Magnus, "How does it taste?"
"It's delicious." Magnus tasted it and asked, "Ophe, what's wrong with you?"
Ophe shook her head with a smile. "I'm pregnant; it's been over two months."
This news surprised Magnus for a moment, and he immediately congratulated her with a smile. "Congratulations, Ophe, you're going to be a mother. It is great news. CEO Abbott's, congratulations to you both. I see how well you treat Ophe, and I'm very relieved."
Finnegan put his hand on Ophe's waist and nodded slightly. "You don't have to be so polite; just call me name."
Ophe also said, "Magnus, you don't have to call him CEO Abbott's. Why make it so formal? Just call his name."
Magnus poured a cup of coffee and said, "Ophe, Finnegan, I toast to both of you. Congratulations."
Magnus genuinely felt happy for Ophe. Whether it was when he heard about her marriage or the news of her pregnancy, he was truly happy for her.
When Ophe's life was good, he could rest assured.
Before, he was worried that even if they got married, something might happen between them. Now that they had a child, their relationship was even more stable.
Ophe and Finnegan chatted with Magnus for a while, and then Finnegan found an excuse to send Ophe away to see Old Abbott.
As soon as Ophe left, Finnegan said to Magnus, "Ophe is tough on the outside but tender on the inside. You, Ophe, and Seraphina grew up together in the orphanage. Magnus hurriedly said, "What's the matter? Just tell me."
Finnegan spoke frankly, "I received a photo from Seraphina, who captured you hugging Ophe at the hospital."
Hearing that, Magnus became anxious and immediately explained, "It's a misunderstanding. Ophe and I truly have a sibling-like relationship; we are just friends, Finnegan. Please don't misunderstand Ophe."
Magnus was afraid that Finnegan would treat Ophe differently because of this.
Finnegan stopped him and looked calmly. "I understand. Ophe is like family to you. I didn't tell her about this incident. Since we are married, there should be a basic trust between us. What I mean is, keep an eye on Seraphina from now on. If anything happens, you can contact me directly; there is no need to go through Ophe. Ophe's situation is special right now, and I want her to be in a good mood throughout the entire pregnancy."
