Chapter 326 Drop It
After Magnus blamed himself, he called Ophelia to find out which hospital she was in, and hurried to the hospital to see Ophelia.
As for Seraphina, Magnus couldn't care about her anymore.
On the other side, upon learning about Ophelia's accident, Dovie, in a hurry, had just finished a meeting and immediately had the driver drive her to the hospital to visit Ophelia.
Seeing Dovie's concern for Ophelia, Niamh said, "Mom, I think you are too concerned about her. She's not an employee of the company. Whether she's in trouble or not, it's not our place to care."
"Niamh, why are you so indifferent? As Ophelia is in trouble, we must go see her," Dovie said. "The Parks Family and Abbott's Family have been friends for generations. It wouldn't look good if we didn't show up for such a big event."
Niamh felt resentful, as she knew that Dovie liked Ophelia, even if Ophelia didn't marry Finnegan, she would still go to visit her.
Unable to stop Dovie, Niamh thought it might be good for Dovie to check the situation to confirm if Ophelia had really miscarried.
After Dovie left, Niamh sat alone in the chairman's office, knowing that this chair would eventually be hers.
Since finding out she wasn't Dovie's biological daughter, Niamh's mindset had changed. She knew she had to fight for everything, or she would end up with nothing.
She still had everything now because she was the heiress of Parks Corporation. Without this title, she would be nothing.
Niamh couldn't trust Dovie or Natalie. Her eyes darkened; she wouldn't let Natalie threaten her.
Natalie's presence made her very uneasy. 'She was a ticking time bomb.' Niamh thought.
Just then, Niamh's phone rang. It was a friend calling. "Niamh, your fiance is at the club, who just called two beauties to accompany him. You should come quickly; you are his fiancée. How could he do this?"
Upon hearing that Ricky was flirting outside, Niamh was furious. She used to ignore Ricky, but now as they were engaged, she couldn't let others mock her.
"Alright, I got it." She replied.
Niamh hung up and immediately took two bodyguards to the club.
When Niamh arrived, Ricky was indeed having a great time with the two beauties. With a glance from Niamh, everyone else in the private room left.
Ricky was a bit scared. "Niamh, why are you here? You're bored."
Niamh didn't say much; she instructed the two bodyguards, saying, "Break his legs for me. Let's see if he dares to find other women again."
"Yes, Miss." The two bodyguards acted directly.
Ricky was terrified. "Niamh, are you crazy?"
Ricky's screams were piercing.
Niamh stared coldly at Ricky. "If you dare to mess around again, I'll castrate you. Even if my fiance Ricky becomes a cripple, I don't care, but he must not find other women again. Unless I don't want you anymore, have the guts to try."
Niamh didn't love Ricky; she loved dignity and wouldn't allow Ricky to find other women outside.
Until she formally took over the company, she would keep Ricky around. When the Parks Family was all under her control, it would be time to abandon Ricky.
Ricky dared not speak out, his leg broken, his face pale with pain.
Meanwhile, in an abandoned factory in New York, two bodyguards held Seraphina on the factory rooftop, and Finnegan asked coldly, "I'll give you one last chance. Did you drug the milk powder Magnus gave to Ophelia?"
Seraphina had been waiting for Magnus at the electronics factory, but instead of Magnus, she was confronted by Finnegan.
Finnegan's bodyguards pulled her into the car and brought her here.
There were hardly any people here; it was all abandoned factory buildings set for demolition.
They were now on the fourth floor of the factory rooftop.
Seraphina was shocked that Finnegan had found her as she had been so discreet. 'How had she been discovered so quickly?' She pondered.
Seraphina remained defiant and didn't dare to admit. "Finnegan, I don't know what you're talking about. What milk powder can? What drugging?"
"Not admitting?" A hint of killing intent flashed in Finnegan's eyes. "Throw her down!"
