Chapter 248 Seraphina Is About To Take Action
Natalie returned in failure and was in a very bad mood.
She came back to the Parks Family and scolded the clumsy nanny.
"Natalie, why are you so angry? Who made you unhappy?" Niamh came back from outside with a smile on her face, indicating that she was in a good mood.
Natalie said, "It's nothing, just business matters. Niamh, why are you back so early today? Aren't you supposed to go to the company?"
"Dovie is not here today. She went out for a meeting, so I came back early." Niamh sat on the couch and said, "The company is so boring. It's suffocating."
"I told you to behave well in front of Dovie. What's wrong with you?" Natalie was already angry, and seeing Niamh's incompetence made her even more furious.
She had hoped that Niamh would inherit Parks Corporation, but with her character, when could she take over?
"I was in a good mood. Why are you scolding me as soon as you see me?" Niamh was unhappy. "Whether I study or not, I will still inherit the company in the future. Dovie only has me. If she doesn't give it to me, who else could she give it to?"
"Who said only you can inherit?" Natalie almost slipped up.
"What do you mean?" Niamh asked. "I'm the only daughter in our family, and I'm the only one who can inherit it. My mom won't be so foolish as to give the company to Ophe just because she likes her."
Natalie worried more when she heard that. Dovie could give the company to Ophe if Ophe was the child from back then.
To stimulate Niamh and make her more determined, Natalie deliberately said, "Niamh, don't you want to teach Ophe a lesson? With your current state, how could you teach her? How can you compare to her? She's running a successful Japanese restaurant now, and I think she has big ambitions. Just wait until the child is born, and she'll secure her position. She will definitely have other ideas."
Niamh said indifferently, "I'm afraid she won't have the chance to give birth to this child."
Natalie's face changed when she listened to that. She quickly looked around and saw no one else, then asked with a serious expression, "Niamh, what do you mean? What do you want to do? Do you want to harm a child?"
Niamh sneered. "I don't need to do anything. She has offended many people, and someone will handle her. If I take action, I'm afraid I'll dirty my hands. I'm not that stupid."
"Who?" Natalie asked persistently. "Niamh, you must not do this. You can't get involved, and don't repeat what happened last time."
Last time, Niamh tried to frame Ophe but ended up getting herself into trouble instead.
"Don't worry. This person is someone that Ophe cannot defend against and guess," Niamh confidently said. "We just have to wait and see Ophe cry."
Last time, Niamh met Seraphina at the Japanese restaurant, and they hit it off. Seraphina had now become Niamh's weapon, ready to stab Ophe in the back at any time.
After the failed attempt last time, Niamh became smarter. She didn't directly instruct Seraphina on what to do but instead induced her hatred by inquiring about Seraphina's grievances with Ophe.
With such a deep grudge, Niamh didn't need to instruct Seraphina on what to do. She just needed to watch the show.
Natalie said, "Niamh, no matter what happens to Ophe, you need to study hard and learn how to manage the company."
"Natalie, why are you more naggy than Dovie?" Niamh became impatient. Her friend called her coincidentally to invite her to go out for a drink at night, so she left.
Natalie sighed deeply. Niamh didn't want to work hard, so she had to push Her forward and make sure her plan was successful.
Meanwhile, in the workshop of the electronics factory, Seraphina was screwing screws. The monotonous and repetitive work made her feel bored, but she couldn't afford to lose this job. At least not now. She couldn't lose it.
After working for eight hours, Seraphina finished her shift. She went back to her dormitory to change out of her work clothes and get ready to go out.
Her dormitory mate saw her getting ready to leave and asked, "Seraphina, where are you going?"
"I'm going out to buy something. My friend is pregnant and about to give birth, so I'm buying some supplements to visit her." Seraphina smiled and went out.
She learned about Ophe's pregnancy news from Niamh.
