Chapter 646 Niamh's Mental Breakdown

Caspian couldn't hide at the Abbott family’s place forever. He stayed there for one night and thought deeply about what Ophelia had said.

Even bystanders didn't believe him, so it was even more impossible to make Tate believe in his sincerity.

At first, Caspian himself didn't believe it either.

In the days that followed, Caspian behaved himself. Apart from managing the company, he had no other entertainment activities.

He generally didn't attend events where there were beautiful women.

All the female secretaries around Caspian were replaced with male assistants.

Caspian was still persistent. Every week, he went to the prison to see Tate. Although she refused to see him each time, he continued to apply for a visit.

Ophelia and Finnegan's wedding was almost ready, and Lloyd had disappeared without a trace after being wanted.

As the wedding date approached, Finnegan was worried.

As long as Lloyd was not dealt with, he might still stir up things.

In the Abbott family’s old mansion.

Finnegan came to see Susan. Celia and Jude had gone out. The two had remarried and were now closer than ever.

Susan was getting older and really had some memory issues. Around the anniversary of George Parks' death, Susan's mood was always very bad.

She was in her room praying for George.

Finnegan waited in the study. When Susan finished praying, he went down to see her.

"Grandma Susan."

"How long have you been here?" Susan asked, "Why didn't Ophelia come?"

"She's at home with Warmie." Finnegan walked over and helped Susan sit down in a chair. "Grandma Susan, the wedding is already at the corner."

Susan smiled. "That's good news. You owe Ophelia a wedding, and it's about time you made it up to her."

"Yeah, whatever the rest got, Ophelia's getting from me," Finnegan stated. "I want this wedding to go off without a hitch, but Lloyd is a wild card."

Susan got it. "You're concerned that Lloyd, still sore, might stir up some drama with the Moonlight Gate crew.""Yes," Finnegan said solemnly. "So the best way is to have Lloyd captured before the wedding."

Susan glanced at Finnegan. She knew that with Finnegan's temperament, he would definitely not let Lloyd off.

Susan sighed, "Do you have a plan?"

"I have a strategy that will definitely bring Lloyd back to Yorkhaven," Finnegan said thoughtfully. "But it requires your help and might seem a bit disrespectful to you."

Susan asked, "What is the plan?"

Finnegan said, "Lloyd resents you. If something happens to you, he will definitely come, especially if it's a matter of life and death."

When someone he hated suddenly had an incident, and that person was a relative who has shown him kindness, Lloyd would definitely appear.

Susan looked at him and understood Finnegan's meaning.

This plan was indeed feasible and indeed disrespectful.

But Susan wouldn't care about these things. Besides being a grandmother, she was once the head of the Abbott family and had the vision and courage for this.

"Finnegan, you handle this. I will listen to you," Susan said. "I don't want your Lloyd to keep making mistakes."

Finnegan said warmly, "Thank you for your support."

With Susan's approval, Finnegan could proceed with the plan.

In prison.

Niamh's belly was very big as she had been pregnant for more than eight months along.

As the due date approached, Niamh became more afraid. Once the baby was born and the breastfeeding period was over, she would be executed.

Niamh didn't want to die. But in prison, she couldn't rely on anyone.

She often dreamed of Seraphina, Sybil, and Dovie, who all came to her in her dreams, demanding her life.

In prison, even being pregnant, she had to work. Outside, Niamh bullied others, but in here, she was the one being bullied.

In any group, even in prison, where there were people, there was scheming, exclusion, and oppression.

Niamh was bullied by her cellmates, not getting enough to eat and having to do the most work, but she dared not fight against them.

In prison, there was this one jerk who constantly targeted Niamh. Instead of hitting her stomach, they'd yank her hair whenever they were in a bad mood.

As a result, Niamh was left nearly bald, and her mental health was taking a serious hit.

After boss's baby, she Escape
