Chapter 559 Evidence Has Been Found

Since Moonlight Gate had chosen Jesse as a client, they naturally conducted a thorough background check on him.

Jesse himself didn't have money, but he now had Natalie's properties thatworth billions.

Jesse had transferred these assets initially to control Niamh, but he didn't expect Niamh to end up in jail, which ruined his plan.

Jesse didn't care much about money. Hecravedthe thrill of conquering Niamh.

Niamh's pregnancy was a vulnerable spot for someone like him, who was an orphan.

Jesse sat in front of his computer, and shortly after sending out a message, he received a reply: [One billion dollars, the task will be done within three days.]

Jesse was shocked by this price. After paying it, he would have no money left.

Worried that he'd be scammed, he didn't agree immediately and replied: [How can I be sure you can get it done? I'll pay a deposit for now. You will get the rest after the job is done.]

The guy replied: [Deal.]

Then, Jesse transferred the money to the account provided by the other party. After all was done, he felt like it was a dream.

He was trying to get a criminal out from the jail.

'Could they really make it?' he thought.

Jesse had to give it a try. He couldn't rescue Niamh himself, so he could only rely on others.

Detention Center.

This was the second time Niamh had been sent here, and both times it was Ophelia who brought her in.

Her anger was gone. She was indespair. Sitting in the corner, Niamh thought she couldn'tget out this time.

She looked out through the iron bars, desperately wanting to get out. 'Why hadn't Jessebail me out yet? Useless thing.'

'Had hegiven up on me too?'

'No, I'm carrying his child. He wouldn't abandon me,' she thought.

Niamh's mental state was terrible. She couldn't sleep well. Whenever she was about to fall asleep, an officer would shine a big light in her eyes, preventing her from sleeping. She fainted once from exhaustion.

Niamh was stubborn. Despite everything, she didn't confess a single word.

Whether it was about Sybil, Seraphina, or Magnus, she denied everything.

Niamh there from dusk till dawn, exhausted. After more than ten days, she was utterly haggard.

But the law catches up with everyone. While sorting through the belongings collected from Deacon's place, Landon found evidence of Niamh running over Sybil with a car.

Landon was ecstatic. With the evidence in hand, he interrogated Niamh again.

Niamh was brought to the interrogation room, the big light shining on her, her eyes bloodshot. "Landon, are you trying to force a confession? I didn't do it. Don't think you can frame me," she declared defiantly, gazing at Landon with contempt.

"Niamh, take a look at these." Landon threw a stack of photos in front of Niamh.

They were photos of Niamh running over Sybil with a car. Since Deacon had sent some photos to Finnegan, he naturally also took some that showed Niamh's face.

In the photos, Niamh looked extremely arrogant deranged as she repeatedly drove over Sybil.. Even when Sybil had no breath left, Niamh showed no remorse and ran over her again.

As a police officer, Landon had seen countless gruesome cases, yet the scenes in the photos still left him shocked.

'What kind of deep-seated hatred could drive her to such brutality?' he thought.

Seeing the photos, Niamh turned pale and almost lost her composure, emotionally saying, "No, it wasn't me. I didn't do it. These photos are edited. You're trying to frame me."

"Niamh, you're still denying it," Landon said angrily. "Sybil was only in her twenties. You killed her.. Don't you feel any guilt?"

"I didn't do it. It wasn't me. I was at CC Club that day." Niamh still denied it.

"Niamh, take a good look at the photos. They have the time and date on them," Landon said sternly. "These pieces of evidence will be irrefutable in court. They are the ironclad proof of your murder."
