Chapter 289: Eating Earthworms

Sawyer answered and quickly dug up a few earthworms from the flower bed.
"Finnegan, here are the earthworms. Are you going to use them for fishing?" Sawyer genuinely thought they were for fishing.
Celia also assumed they were for Oscar's fishing and said, "Why are you being so kind to him? He wanted to harm you before, and you still have wounds on your back. Have you forgotten?"
Finnegan looked at the wriggling earthworms, raised exceptionally large due to the fertile soil in the flower bed, with the thickest one as thick as a pinky finger.
Sawyer wrapped it in a lotus leaf, the earthworm wriggling on the leaf, elongating its body, with the longest one nearly ten centimeters long.
Finnegan's gaze turned cold as he stared at Oscar. "The doctor said you're a fool. Today, I want to see if you're really foolish or just pretending. Here's something delicious. If you eat it, I'll believe you're a fool."
Hearing this, Celia and Sawyer were both stunned. Was Oscar supposed to eat the earthworm?
Oscar almost vomited when told to eat the wriggling earthworm, which made his scalp tingle.
But if he didn't eat it, his act of pretending to be a fool would be exposed.
Oscar forced a smile and looked scared. "I'm scared."
Oscar was genuinely afraid. The sight of such a soft-bodied creature was disgusting.
Finnegan's lips curled slightly. "This is good stuff, high in protein, and it's good for you."
"Good stuff?" Oscar suppressed his disgust, summoned his courage, and took another look at the earthworm, clapping his hands. "Good stuff, I can eat it."
Oscar knew that if he wanted to deceive Finnegan, he had to eat the earthworm.
He had endured for so long. He couldn't fail now.
With that in mind, Oscar picked up the earthworm, closed his eyes, and stuffed it directly into his mouth.
Celia, who saw this scene, turned away and vomited. "What a fool! Eating earthworms."
It was Finnegan's demand, and Sawyer didn't dare say anything.
Oscar, with a look of disgust, managed to eat one.
Finnegan said expressionlessly, "There are three more. Eat them all."
Oscar felt like crying as it was so disgusting. He had just swallowed it whole, and now he felt the earthworms wriggling in his stomach.
"Not tasty." Oscar held up his hands and said dully, "Not tasty."
"Eat it," Finnegan said with a commanding tone.
Oscar was so scared that he trembled, and fear was evident in his eyes.
Oscar shakily reached out to grab the remaining three earthworms, feeling them wriggling in his palm.
He was so afraid that he wanted to throw them away. But he couldn't.
Oscar could only endure his disgust again and eat the remaining three.
Celia couldn't bear to watch. She vomited before Oscar could.
"It's so disgusting. What a fool! Eating earthworms." Celia walked away directly and went back to the house to rinse her mouth.
Finnegan stared at Oscar and asked, "How does it taste?"
Oscar closed his mouth tightly and shook his head, looking very timid. He was genuinely afraid.
Beneath the fear was hatred, a deep hatred for Finnegan.
Finnegan's lips curled coldly, with a hidden meaning in his words. "When fishing, you need a good bait. If the bait isn't good enough, how can you catch the fish? Earthworms are good stuff, the best bait."
"Really?" Oscar looked naive and carefree. "Sawyer, I want more earthworms. I want to catch big fish."
Sawyer forced a smile and glanced at Finnegan.
Finnegan waved his hand. "Sawyer, go about your business."
"Yes, Finnegan." Sawyer continued with his work.
Oscar looked scared, keeping his distance from Finnegan.
Finnegan looked at Oscar and said, "Take your time fishing." Then he turned and left.
As soon as Finnegan left, Oscar couldn't hold it in and vomited.
He reached into his throat, trying to get the earthworms out.
The psychological shadow of today was enough to make him develop a deep fear of soft-bodied creatures.
No matter how much Oscar tried to vomit, he couldn't get it out. He felt something moving in his stomach. He had another bout of vomiting, bringing up yellow water. He shed his tears, his face blushed, but he still couldn't get it out.
"Finnegan, I'll make you pay tenfold for today's humiliation!" Thinking of the earthworms, Oscar vomited again.
After boss's baby, she Escape
