Chapter 291 Don't Look for Your Biological Parents.

Magnus calmly said, "Ophe, I don't see anything strange. You're running a business, and it's not right to turn people away. Natalie is here for a meal, and it's just a matter of providing an extra set of utensils."
Ophe couldn't dismiss Natalie indeed, as she was curious about her intentions.
Natalie and Niamh had no connections now, yet Natalie persistently caused trouble, which was inexplicable.
How could Dovie, who was kind and reasonable, have such a peculiar sister?
Ophe turned to Addison and said, "Addison, please let her in and have the waiter prepare an extra set of utensils."
"Sure," Addison replied and left.
Shortly after, Natalie came in with supplements.
"Ophe, these are for your health," Natalie said, her expression neutral, not particularly warm, but much better than her previous sarcastic attitude.
Natalie was now certain that Ophe was the baby from years ago, Dovie's biological daughter and she saw Ophe as a threat to Niamh.
Natalie had considered before she came here that since Ophe had the Abbott Family's protection, being aggressive wouldn't work. The only option was to be gentle, get closer to Ophe, and keep track of her movements.
Ophe greeted Natalie with a lukewarm attitude.
Seeing Natalie bring supplements for Ophe, Magnus couldn't help but wonder if Natalie was here to acknowledge Ophe.
Ophe introduced Magnus to Natalie. "This is my friend, Magnus, a lawyer."
Natalie glanced at Magnus and remarked, "Magnus has been quite famous lately and is very good-looking."
Magnus had indeed been in the spotlight for several days. If it weren't for Ophe and Finnegan's marriage hogging the hotshot, the internet fallout of Magnus's issue wouldn't be over by now.
Natalie's words carried a hint of disdain, looking down on Magnus.
Ophe immediately felt displeased and responded, "I run a business, and I welcome all guests." The implication was clear that if you're here for trouble, you're not welcome.
Concerned that he might have influenced the relationship between Natalie and Ophe, Magnus discreetly tugged at Ophe's sleeve, signaling her not to be like this.
He then said to Natalie, "Let's eat, Natalie."
"Sure," Natalie replied, adopting an arrogant posture.
Ophe, who already disliked Natalie, ignored her.
Natalie, however, initiated a conversation, asking, "Ophe, I heard you were an orphan too. Have you ever thought about finding your parents?"
Natalie was worried that Ophe might seek out her biological parents, which could lead to trouble.
Magnus remained silent, quietly observing Natalie.
Ophe casually replied, "I haven't thought about it."
Natalie breathed a sigh of relief as long as Ophe didn't pursue it.
Natalie took the opportunity to say, "No matter why your parents abandoned you over twenty years ago, the fact remains. If you do find them, and they don't acknowledge you, or if you encounter unreasonable parents like your friend did, it's better not to find them."
Magnus was surprised by Natalie's words. What did she mean?
Was she suggesting that Ophe shouldn't look for her biological parents?
Wasn't Natalie here to acknowledge Ophe?
Did Natalie intentionally abandon Ophe back then?
Seeing Natalie hinting at Magnus again, Ophe's expression turned cold. "This is my private matter; you don't need to worry about it."
Magnus couldn't help but ask, "Are you saying you don't want Ophe to find her biological parents? If you were a mother, would you be willing to give up such an outstanding daughter? Can you bear not to acknowledge her?"
After boss's baby, she Escape
