Chapter 165: Altered Identity for Money

Sybil had been secretly keeping an eye on Niamh all these years, she knew exactly who Niamh was.

Cruel, ruthless, and terrifying.

Niamh had an innocent face but the most malicious heart.

When Niamh hit Sybil's parents that year, the first impact didn't kill Sybil's mother. She died on the spot from being run over a second time.

And it was the wheels that crushed Sybil's mother's neck and head the second time.

If it weren't for other vehicles passing by, even Sybil's father would not have survived.

The cruel scene at that time had always been Sybil's father's nightmare and had only intensified Sybil's hatred towards Niamh.

When Dovie came with money to settle the matter back then, Sybil's father was worried about Sybil's safety, so he chose to take the money and let it go.

And all these years, Sybil had been waiting for an opportunity for revenge, afraid to take action because of her father.

How would her paralyzed father survive if anything happened to her?

Ophelia stepped in to save Sybil, and with Niamh's personality, she would certainly hold a grudge against Ophelia, which Sybil warned her about.

"Alright, I got it," Ophelia hugged Sybil. "Take care of yourself, keep in touch if anything comes up."

Sybil nodded, hesitated to say something, but in the end, she said nothing and walked away with the cardboard box.
Sybil knew that after she left, things would not be in her favor.
Knowing Niamh's personality, once the controversy had passed, Niamh would surely seek revenge upon her.
Sybil was not afraid; she was eagerly anticipating Niamh's retaliation. If she could drag Niamh to hell with her own life, then she would have fulfilled her duty to her deceased parents.
Ophelia stood in place and watched as Sybil turned away. For some reason, a wave of sadness suddenly surged within her.
At that moment, Ophelia did not realize that it would be the last time she would see Sybil.
In the near future, Sybil would repay Ophelia for saving her life.
After Sybil left, Ophelia felt a bit listless throughout the whole day. Just before leaving work, she received a message from Finnegan.
He was waiting downstairs at the company to pick her up.
Ophelia's heart naturally rejoiced at her husband personally coming to pick her up from work. As soon as it was time to clock out, she couldn't wait to rush out of the company.
Sure enough, Finnegan was waiting on the roadside. She looked around and didn't see any familiar faces, so she quickly got into Finnegan's car.
"You finished work early today?" Ophelia asked happily.
"Yeah," Finnegan lowered the partition between the front and back seats. With the partition and its soundproofing, the driver couldn’t see or hear what was happening in the back.
With the partition down, Finnegan kissed Ophelia directly on the lips.
Ophelia closed her eyes, enjoying and responding. If they weren't in the car, they probably would have taken the next step immediately.
After a passionate kiss, her face blushed. She asked, "Where are we going tonight?"
"Orchid Garden," Finnegan said in a gentle voice. "My grandmother wants to meet you, and my dad is also at Orchid Garden."
Ophelia finally understood why Finnegan had come to pick her up so early today.
"We're meeting your family?" Ophelia felt a little worried. "Do I need to bring a gift? Your family is so wealthy that they probably lack nothing. What should I buy? What does your dad like? What does your grandmother like?"
Ophelia was hesitant; everything happened so suddenly that she wasn't mentally prepared.
Finnegan laughed and whispered in her ear, "Our family is still missing a little doll. They'll definitely like it."
Ophelia glared at him irritably. "Finnegan."
She playfully hit his chest. A little doll isn't something that can just be obtained.
He took her hand and clasped it in his palm, his gaze gentle. "They just want to see you. Don't feel pressured; it's not the first time you're meeting them."
Thinking back to their last meeting, Ophelia felt a little embarrassed. "Back then, I sent your grandmother to the hospital and your dad gave me a few thousand bucks for lost wages, transportation fees, and medical expenses."
Finnegan smiled and said, "My dad is quite stingy. The first time he meets his daughter-in-law, he only gives a small gift. I'll have my dad add some zeros to the amount later. And don't call him 'dad' at first, call him 'uncle' instead, and he'll give you the money for that change in address."

Ophelia was stunned and said, "Finnegan, if your dad finds out about this, won't he scold you?"

This son is useless, always instigating his wife to ask for money.
After boss's baby, she Escape
