Chapter 566 Back to the Parks Family

Landon really had no way to deal with Jesse. Because after investigation, it turned out that Jesse indeed had no time to commit the crime, and there was no connection found between Jesse and Moonlight Gate.

Unable to get anything from the interrogation, the police had to release Jesse when the time came.

Jesse could only be a suspect, not a criminal.

With nothing gained from the interrogation, Landon had to release Jesse and then sent someone to secretly monitor him.

As long as Jesse was involved in this matter, they could find Niamh through him.

After Niamh escaped from prison, the police had already issued a notice and a nationwide manhunt was underway.

When Jesse left the police station, he also wanted to contact Moonlight Gate, only to find that the previous email account no longer existed.

Jesse didn't know where Niamh was either. Moonlight Gate rescued her but didn't inform him at all.

While thinking about it, Jesse found a note in his car that read: [Niamh is at the Parks family.]

The most dangerous place was the safest place.

After taking the job, Moonlight Gate got Niamh out and sent her directly back to the Parks family.

Niamh woke up in the attic of the house. When she woke up and saw everything in front of her, she thought it was a dream.

Niamh quickly ran to the window to look. It was indeed the Parks family, the place she had lived for over ten years.

'How could I be here?' she thought.

Before she could think more, Niamh heard Emerson's voice downstairs.

Emerson was responsible for watching over the Parks family. She had bought groceries and returned from outside, bringing along the neighbor's nanny, Lori Ramirez.

The two had known each other for many years. With nothing else to do, they came to the house to sit and chat.

Lori said enviously, "Emerson, I really envy you. You don't have to serve anyone, living alone in such a big house, and you still get a salary every month. Look at those people working outside. They work their whole lives and can't afford a villa."

Emerson poured water for Lori and said, "I'm just a housekeeper. Finnegan got injured, and Ophelia doesn't have time to come back. I don't want to see this house go to waste."

Ophelia would never sell this house, but she couldn't live here either as the Abbott family had plenty of houses.

If no one lived here, the house would go to waste.

Lori said, "Anyway, you're enjoying life. Ophelia is generous and pays promptly. Does she give you two thousand dollars a month?"

Emerson said, "She gives me three thousand dollars a month."

"So much," Lori said even more enviously. "I cook and clean every day, and I only get two thousand dollars a month. With so much money, how can you spend it all? Emerson, Ophelia is much better than Niamh before. Niamh was arrogant and mean. By the way, I just saw the news. Niamh escaped from prison, and the police are looking for her everywhere."

Niamh upstairs was furious when she heard a nanny badmouthing her.

But thinking that she was a fugitive, if she was discovered, it would be terrible.

Niamh could only swallow her anger and hide upstairs without making a sound.

Emerson said, "Niamh deserved it. I think Dovie was harmed by her. Dovie was so good to her, treating her like a treasure, but Niamh was ungrateful. Fortunately, God blessed Dovie, and she found her biological daughter before she passed away."

Lori also felt regretful. "Dovie was indeed kind-hearted. Such a pity."

After chatting for a while, Lori had to go cook, so she left first.

Emerson also had to cook. Living alone here was lonely, so she had a dog.

After cooking and eating, Emerson went out to walk the dog.

Emerson generally didn't go upstairs. The house was very big, and she lived on the first floor. There were several rooms on the first floor, and she couldn't use them all.

Only when cleaning did Emerson go upstairs.

This villa had five floors in total, with three floors upstairs, plus an attic, and two basement levels, with gardens in the front and back.

Niamh was also hungry. After Emerson went out, she went to the kitchen to find something to eat.

To avoid being discovered, Niamh walked barefoot to make less noise.

There were still a lot of dishes left in the fridge, as Emerson had deliberately cooked more to have some for dinner.

Niamh saw the turbot, ribs, and fruits in the fridge and cursed, "Damn it,  she lives in my house and eats so well."

In Niamh's eyes, she always considered this house her own.

Niamh didn't dare to eat everything, so she only ate a little of each and some fruit, and then went back upstairs to hide.

She was wearing prison clothes, so she went to her old room and found some old clothes to change into, stuffing the prison clothes at the bottom of a box.

The police were looking for her outside, but no one guessed that Niamh had moved into the Parks family.
