Chapter 351 Pleading with Old Abbott

Niamh was eventually taken away.
Natalie was extremely anxious, while Dovie stood expressionless in the living room, watching Niamh being taken away.

"Dovie, why aren't you saying anything? The police took Niamh away." Natalie said anxiously. "What's going on with the Abbott Family? How can the police believe Seraphina's words? Dovie, say something."

Dovie glanced at Natalie and said, "Actually, you know in your heart that Niamh conspired in this matter."
Natalie was at a loss for words.

"Dovie, that's your daughter, the daughter you lost and found again. When Niamh caused trouble back then, you cleaned up the mess for her. You can't just ignore it this time." Natalie said. "Niamh was just momentarily misguided by Seraphina to do these things."

"Natalie, Old Abbott is in the hospital, and Sybil is dead. Do you think we might have spoiled Niamh? Should we stop indulging her?" Dovie looked out into the night and said, "We spoiled her. My way of educating her was wrong."

Natalie was shocked. "Dovie, do you mean you're not going to do anything?"

Dovie pressed her lips together and remained silent.

Natalie was anxious but maintained a calm exterior. "Dovie, this is your daughter. If you're not worried, what can I say?"
Natalie deliberately tried to provoke Dovie.
Dovie remained unmoved. Natalie glanced at her and saw no reaction, which made her even more anxious.

Just as Natalie was about to say something, Dovie said, "I'm going out for a bit."

"Dovie, where are you going?"

Dovie didn't answer. She didn't take a driver and drove herself out.
Dovie went straight to the hospital as the only person who could save Niamh was Old Abbott.

Dovie knew that looking for Finnegan was useless. Given Finnegan's temperament, if Niamh were suspected, the consequences would be unimaginable.
There were only two people who could restrain Finnegan, Ophelia and Old Abbott.

As for Ophelia, Dovie didn't want to make things difficult for her, so she had to come to Old Abbott.
The weather was bad tonight. Jude was at the hospital with Old Abbott, while Celia had gone home to rest.
Jude was very surprised to see Dovie coming so late. "Dovie, why are you here?"

Dovie glanced at Old Abbott on the hospital bed and asked in a low voice, "How long has Old Abbott been asleep?"

"Just fell asleep." Jude said. "Feeling a bit better. She had dinner, watched some TV, and then went to sleep. Dovie, do you have something to discuss?"

"I do." Dovie said with difficulty. "It's something hard to talk about. I came here thick-skinned."

Jude was very curious. "What is it? Given the relationship between our families, what could be so hard to say? Dovie, tell me. If I can help, I definitely will."

Their conversation woke Old Abbott.
Old Abbott slowly opened her eyes. "Dovie is here."

Old Abbott was very fond of Dovie. She had once thought Dovie could be her daughter-in-law, but unfortunately, Dovie didn't marry Jude. Instead, she married a mixed-race man.

"Old Abbott, did I wake you?" Dovie walked over apologetically and helped Old Abbott sit up.

Old Abbott smiled and said, "I lie down every day and sleep a lot. It's no big deal. Dovie, it's so late. Do you have something to discuss?"
Old Abbott was very sharp.

Dovie glanced at Jude, feeling a bit hesitant.
Old Abbott understood and sent Jude away. "I need to talk to Dovie. You go for a walk."

"Mom, it's raining outside. Where should I go for a walk?" Jude said, but then added, "You two talk. I'll go to the corridor and have a smoke."

After Jude left, Old Abbott held Dovie's hand, her eyes full of affection. "Tell me, what do you need? I've watched you grow up. If you weren't in trouble, you wouldn't have come to me."

Seeing Old Abbott's kind and caring expression, Dovie found it hard to speak.

Old Abbott grew anxious. "You have a temperament just like Ophelia. You two, anyone who didn't know better would think you were mother and daughter. You hesitate so much to say something. Just tell me. I've been through a lot."

Dovie spoke frankly. "Niamh caused you this hospitalization. The police came to our door. I came to plead with you to ask Finnegan and Ophelia to forgive Niamh this time."
After boss's baby, she Escape
