Chapter 195 Getting Hungry Too Quickly

Niamh strongly disliked learning about business and impatiently said, "Natalie, why are you just like my mom forcing me to do business? With you and the Parks Family having so much money, it's enough for me. Right now, I want to get rid of Ophe."

This statement infuriated Natalie.

Natalie and Dovie were both powerful figures in the business world, but unfortunately, Niamh was only skilled in enjoying life and had no other knowledge.

Natalie said, "Niamh, if you want to get rid of Ophe, you need to have the power yourself. You just said it before Ophe is Finnegan's wife. Do you think you can do something to Ophe just by resorting to your current abilities? Haven't you had enough lessons from the detention center?"

Thinking of the days spent in the detention center, Niamh hated Ophe with all her heart.

Life in the detention center was no way to live as a human being.

Niamh asked, "Natalie, if I take over Parks Corporation, can I get rid of Ophe?"

Natalie said, "If you have the power, then you definitely can."

"Then I'll go back to the company." Niamh had no interest in managing the company, but as long as she could get rid of Ophe, she was willing to learn.

After comforting Niamh, Natalie descended the staircase.

Dovie asked worriedly, "Natalie, how is Niamh doing? Is she still mad at me?"

"Dovie, Niamh is fine now. She was throwing a temper tantrum." Natalie asked, "How did you let Abbott's Family actually send Niamh to the police station? She's your daughter, and according to Niamh, it was for someone named Ophe. Why are you favoring a stranger?"

Dovie sighed. "Given how things turned out, that's all I could do. I spoiled Niamh too much over the years, and it's my fault for not educating her well enough, which led to her becoming like this."

"Dovie," Natalie said with a smile, "Niamh has been a bit playful these years. Now that she's grown up, she should join the company and have something productive to do and focus more once if Niamh has responsibilities. She's your only daughter, and the Parks Corporation will need her to take over in the future. I don't have any children, and the properties under my name will also belong to Niamh. It's time for her to learn to take on responsibilities."

Hearing Natalie's plan to give all her properties to Niamh, Dovie was deeply moved. "Natalie, I know how much you care for Niamh."

"Niamh is your daughter, so of course, I love her too." Natalie smiled. "Dovie, don't be angry. I'll ask Niamh to come down and apologize to you."

"Forget it. As long as Niamh can learn from this lesson, I hope it will make her wiser," Dovie said, feeling exhausted. She considered herself a failure in teaching her daughter.

"Niamh will learn a lesson this time." Natalie curiously asked, "Dovie, I heard that Abbott's Family and Parks Family have an engagement, but Niamh told me that Finnegan married someone else. How come I haven't heard about him getting married?"

"Little Finnegan did get married. I only found out recently, too," Dovie said. She realized why Celia had caused trouble for Ophe in the company.

Celia was not satisfied with Ophe as her daughter-in-law, but Finnegan liked her.

Dovie was already overwhelmed with worrying about Niamh and had no interest in Abbott's family matters.

Natalie asked again, "Who is this Ophe? She must be quite capable to make Finnegan marry her."

"Ophe used to be an employee of Parks Corporation. I don't know how she ended up marrying Little Finnegan, but it is what it is. Let's forget about the engagement between the two families," Dovie said.

"An employee of Parks Corporation?" Natalie exclaimed. "This Ophe must really have some skills."

Natalie thought that she must meet Ophe if she had the chance.

Meanwhile, Ophe had no idea that she was being noticed again by someone.

She was supervising the construction at the Japanese restaurant where she started. The renovation had begun, and she came to check the progress and take photos to show Finnegan.

In Abbott's Corporation office, Finnegan became nervous when he saw Ophe heading toward the construction site. He quickly picked up his car keys and headed outside.

The construction site was filled with paint, and the strong smell was too overwhelming for Ophe's current state.

'How can she stay there?' He considered.

Linda came in to prepare to report her work and saw Finnegan walking out. She asked, "CEO Abbott's, what happened?"

"Leave the documents in the office, and I'll look at them tomorrow," Finnegan said seriously.

Ophe, in the Japanese restaurant, was unaware that Finnegan was rushing over in her direction.

She walked to the entrance of the Japanese restaurant to catch some fresh air. Her stomach was a little empty, and suddenly, she smelled the aroma of delicious food. She followed the scent and walked toward the alley.

Ophe's Japanese restaurant was located next to the food street. Turning in from the entrance, it led to the food street.

Ophe would always go to the food street to eat whenever she came to the Japanese restaurant to check on the progress of the renovations.

She didn't know why, but recently, she had a good appetite and got hungry quickly.
