Chapter 443 Death of Seraphina

Ophelia brought good luck to Abbott's Corporation, which made Celia grin from ear to ear.

Celia, who was gathering with friends outside, felt extremely proud upon hearing everyone's praises.

Ophelia really brought her honor, making her even more confident outside.

Where there is joy, there is also jealousy.

Niamh, upon seeing the trend on the Internet, was consumed with jealousy as Ophelia seemed to be hogging all the good fortune.

Ophelia was voted the most beautiful expectant mother online, becoming a source of national pride.

"Ophelia, enjoy your moment. Let's see how long you can keep it up."

Niamh gritted her teeth, wishing she could smash the TV.

Turning off the TV, Niamh went to the police station to meet Natalie. With nothing left, unable to inherit Parks Corporation, all of Natalie's assets and properties now belonged to her. Niamh was eager to take over everything.

Niamh had to pull some strings to see Natalie. After being locked up for so long, Natalie looked much more haggard.

Upon seeing Niamh, Natalie was somewhat excited. "Niamh, you're here. I thought you wouldn't come to see me."

"Mom, how could I not come? Are you doing okay in here?" Niamh asked insincerely.

"Okay," Natalie struggled to speak, but she didn't mean that actually.

"Mom, Ophelia has driven me out now. I have nowhere to go and nothing left. I can't help you anymore. I'm sorry. I'm useless." Niamh squeezed out a couple of tears, showing her respect for Natalie.

"Ophelia is despicable. She has no right to drive you out. You've lived in that house for over a decade, and you also bear the Parks name." Natalie was furious and heartbroken for Niamh. "Niamh, I don't blame you. I still have assets. Take them, and this money will be enough for you. Without me protecting you, don't be willful anymore. Remember, you must keep a low profile and restrain yourself. You are no match for Ophelia."

Natalie feared that Niamh would also fall into Ophelia's hands and worried about the truth of Dovie's death being exposed.

"Mom, Ophelia is riding high now. Just a few words to the French delegation, and she's become a national pride." Niamh seethed with jealousy. "Let's see. As high as she stands now, she'll fall even harder in the future."

"Niamh, don't act recklessly. Is that clear?" Natalie instructed repeatedly. "Go to Europe and find Jesse Scott. He will tell you what to do."

With nothing under her name now, Niamh indeed had to go to Europe first. She couldn't rely on Deacon forever. Deacon was unreliable, surely hiding bigger secrets.

"Mom, don't worry. I'll go to Eurona tomorrow."

In a rented house in New York, Magnus also saw the trend on the Internet and knew that Ophelia was doing well, which put his mind at ease.

Magnus sat on the bed, munching on bread with one hand and holding his phone with the other, staring at a photo of Ophelia conversing with Prince Wilder.
Magnus also felt proud and happy for Ophelia.

Ophelia messaged and called him, wanting to know where he lived, but Magnus remained tight-lipped.

Magnus had said he didn't want to cause trouble for Ophelia.

After finishing the bread, Magnus received a call from a colleague of Seraphina, who had returned to New York.

Magnus immediately grabbed his car keys and went to meet her.

Half an hour later, Magnus arrived at the dormitory of the electronic factory and finally met her.

"Mia," Magnus greeted with a smile as he approached. "Hello, I'm Magnus, Seraphina's friend."

At the mention of Seraphina, Mia's expression turned sour. "What do you want from me?"

In her thirties and slightly chubby, Mia had an average appearance.

"Seraphina's death is suspicious. I want to ask you something," Magnus said, "Please help me out. If Seraphina died under injustice, what if her ghost comes to find you in the middle of the night?"

Magnus used a direct approach, which was effective, as fear of the dead was instinctual.

Feeling a bit scared, Mia said, "What do you want to ask? I have to go to work, so make it quick."

Magnus asked, "I'll be quick. I just want to know if there were any unusual occurrences before Seraphina was arrested or anyone she interacted with?"

After some thought, Mia said, "Yes."

Magnus was pleased. "What?"

Mia replied, "Seraphina would often stare at a photo in the midnight, looking strange. I was startled twice when I got up to use the bathroom at night."

"What photo?"

"A man, a very handsome man," Mia said. "I heard Seraphina muttering; it seemed like his name was Finnegan. I asked if he was her boyfriend, and Seraphina said yes, even mentioning that she would definitely marry him. On the day Seraphina was arrested, someone delivered takeout to her, a cup of coffee, which she drank before leaving."
After boss's baby, she Escape
