Chapter 47 Automatic Surveillance Coverage
For Seraphina, every second of the fifteen minutes was torture.
Finnegan forbade her from leaving the room, telling her to wait for the result there. Finnegan sat on the sofa, smoking with an unapproachable air. Seraphina's hands were tightly clenched and covered in cold sweat.
Meanwhile, Atticus had arrived at The Ritz-Carlton. He found the hotel manager, introduced himself and explained his purpose.
Once the manager learned that he was Finnegan's special assistant from Abbott Corporation, he naturally obliged and led Atticus to the surveillance room.
"Mr. Montgomery, this way please."
"Alright." Mr. Montgomery followed him.
Soon, they arrived at the surveillance room. The manager instructed the on-duty staff, "Mr. Montgomery is here to review some surveillance footage."
The staff asked, "Which day and what time period?"
The manager looked at Atticus, who said, "The beginning of last month, the 5th. Check who left Mr. Abbott's room on the evening of the 5th and the morning of the 6th."
"Okay." The staff began to retrieve the footage.

At Orchid Garden, a sports car came to a screeching halt in Finnegan's villa's yard. The person who got out of the car was Caspian. After hearing that Finnegan had a car accident in City B, Caspian rushed to Orchid Garden to visit.
"Finnegan, Finnegan." Caspian hurriedly jogged towards the upstairs.
Lina quickly stopped Caspian, "Mr. Hawthorne, don't go up."
Caspian looked puzzled, "Lina, what's wrong? Isn't Finnegan here?"
Lina explained, "Miss Kingsley is in Mr. Abbott's room."
"Which Miss Kingsley?" Caspian immediately reacted, "Finnegan's girlfriend? The one hiding in Orchid Garden?"
Caspian had not met Seraphina before.
Lina smiled, "Yes, Miss Kingsley is the first girl Mr. Abbott has ever brought back to Orchid Garden."
Caspian was curious, "Lina, how long have Finnegan and Miss Kingsley been in the room?"
Lina said, "Almost half an hour."
"Half an hour." Caspian laughed, "Even injured, Finnegan's stamina hadn't decreased. Just half an hour? With Finnegan's stamina, he should be able to go for another hour. I'll wait downstairs."
Just as Caspian finished speaking, there was a noise from upstairs. It was the sound of a door closing.
Caspian curiously went up, only to see Seraphina. Her eyes were red, and she looked somewhat disheveled while coming out of the room. Her left strap had slipped off her shoulder. No matter how you looked at it, it seemed like they were doing something... physical.
"Wow, Finnegan knows how to play." Caspian's tone changed, "Only half an hour? Is Finnegan that weak?"
Caspian took a closer look at Seraphina's appearance and was a bit disappointed. She wasn't even half as good-looking as Miss Sinclair. How did someone of such average looks catch Finnegan's eye?
Seraphina glanced at Caspian. Her eyes were indeed red, and she staggered back to her room. Her clothes had fallen off when Finnegan had grabbed her, and her eyes were red from fear.
Inside the room, Finnegan took a deep drag on his cigarette, his eyebrows furrowed in a cold frown. He was truly in a bad mood, the kind you'd best not provoke.
"Finnegan?" Caspian tiptoed in, tentatively calling out, "You alright? Still not satisfied?"
Finnegan lifted his eyes and cast a sharp glance at Caspian while casually throwing a throw pillow at him.
"Holy crap, such a big temper." Caspian caught the pillow and patted his chest in exasperation, "Finnegan, what's going on? I haven't seen you this angry in many years."
Caspian wondered if it was because he couldn't perform? Had his pride been hurt? Caspian's gaze, intentionally or unintentionally, glanced towards Finnegan's crotch.
"Put away your wicked thoughts." Finnegan was very irritable.
Just a moment ago, Atticus called. The surveillance at The Ritz-Carlton automatically overwrites after a month, so the surveillance footage from that day was gone.
Caspian chuckled, "Finnegan, it was just a joke. I would never dare to question your combat power. Even if you misfired tonight, it must be because of the car accident; your body hasn't recovered yet."
