Chapter 211 Pampering Her Like a Child

Seraphina had no other choice. With her abilities, she might not even find a job like working at a factory with such high pay.

Suppressing her emotions, Seraphina entered the electronics factory.

Magnus accompanied her to complete the registration procedures and took her to the dormitory. He bought her toiletries and even had her clothes and luggage delivered to her.

Sitting on the bunk bed in the dormitory, Seraphina watched Magnus bustling around and couldn't help but sneer. "You really listen to Ophelia's words. Whatever she tells you to do, you do."

Indeed, it was because of Ophelia's instructions that Magnus had been accompanying Seraphina, helping her with the registration procedures to avoid any trouble.

"Just focus on your work here." Magnus settled Seraphina and stood outside the dormitory door. "Remember to repay your debts on time and work hard."

"Magnus," Seraphina called out to him and walked over. "Thank Ophelia for me."

The thank you was not heartfelt gratitude but rather a way to keep a connection for the future, giving her a way out.

Magnus was unaware of Seraphina's thoughts and said, "It's good that you have a conscience. We have been working hard for you, Seraphina. Everyone makes mistakes, but if you make a mistake, you need to correct it. Both Ophelia and I consider you family. We want what's best for you."

"I admit that I am jealous of Ophelia, but I also understand that everyone has their destiny," Seraphina said insincerely. "I envy her, but I know that my destiny will not be to work in an electronics factory for the rest of her life. I will pay her back for the money she lent me. I will rely on myself and create a successful career."

"Take care of yourself. Call me if you need anything," Magnus said without saying much more and then left.

In reality, Magnus and Ophelia were trying to get Seraphina to do the right things for herself. As long as Seraphina behaved and worked well in the electronics factory for a year, the loan contract would be voided.

After settling Seraphina, Magnus called Ophelia and said, "Ophelia, I have settled Seraphina. She wanted me to thank you on her behalf."

Back in Orchid Garden, Ophelia was busy planning the opening ceremony of a Japanese restaurant when she received the call. She said, "If she can truly work hard at the electronics factory for a year, then all our efforts will not be in vain. Keep an eye on her; don't let her make impulsive decisions and borrow money or invest in something."

Over the years, they had helped Seraphina clean up her mess several times, from the initial investments of a few thousand dollars to believing in online part-time jobs, to tens of thousands of dollars in stock trading and opening a store, and finally investing over a million dollars and being scammed by a product agent. Despite all these lessons, Seraphina couldn't learn lessons.

Ophelia had tried to persuade Seraphina several times to read fewer books about successful businesspeople and how they became wealthy. She told her that the real ways to make money weren't written in books and wouldn't be revealed by others.

Times were changing, and opportunities that existed before might not be available now. Written knowledge was too one-sided, lacking in understanding, knowledge, and the courage to seize opportunities.

Magnus assured, "Don't worry, I will keep an eye on her. I will visit her every month and check her credit record to see if she is working well at the factory."

"Alright," Ophelia said as she saw Finnegan return. No longer wanting to talk to Magnus, she instructed him, "I'm leaving Seraphina's matter to you. Bye."

After hanging up the phone, Ophelia got up and walked toward Finnegan, saying, "Why are you home so early? Aren't you supposed to have some social event tonight?"

"I was worried that you would be bored at home, so I came to pick you up and go together," Finnegan said with a warm smile. "Go change your clothes and come with me."

Since becoming pregnant, Ophelia had a habit. From the moment Finnegan left, she would eagerly await his return. Whenever she heard movement in the yard, she couldn't help but peek out from the balcony. As soon as she saw him come back, her mood inexplicably improved.

"Okay, wait for me." Ophelia was in high spirits. "By the way, aren't you afraid that others will know about our relationship?"

Finnegan gently tapped her head. "I wish the whole world would know."

Because Ophelia used to be concerned about too many things, she never expected her relationship with Finnegan to develop to this point. She was afraid of being abandoned and embarrassed. But now, his attitude gave her a sense of security, and those concerns slowly disappeared.

"Then I'll go change." Ophelia smiled and ran upstairs.

Finnegan, full of doting, watched her figure and said, "Take your time, no rush."
