Chapter 667 Parental Love

Knowing Sandra's background, Barbara's eyes welled up as she clenched her fists. "She's been through so much. How did she manage?"

Barbara couldn't fathom the hell Sandra must have endured. Other people's daughters were pampered and loved. If Sandra hadn't been lost, she would have been treated like a princess.

Raymond spoke with a heavy heart, "Yeah, how did she make it through?"

He had pondered this question many times.

How did she survive?

By clawing her way out of a nightmare, she made it to today.

"Tomorrow, I have to see Tate. Please set it up," Barbara said, wiping her tears. "I know she is back. How can I not see her? I wish I could bring her home right now."

She wanted to make up for all the pain Tate had endured.

"Alright," Raymond said. "I'll arrange it."

That night, Barbara was too excited to sleep. She couldn't wait and called her husband, Eugene Stewart, to share the news that their daughter was still alive.

Barbara thought about the times she had spoken to Tate and met her. Her heart raced with joy, relief, excitement, and also guilt and regret.

Tate had been right in front of her, and she hadn't recognized her.

The next day.

Barbara got up early, ready to go out with Raymond. She was going to the prison to see Tate.

Eugene also drove straight to the police station where Raymond worked. With both parents pressing him, Raymond sighed and had to make the arrangements.

Raymond first went to see Tate, explained the situation, and let Tate decide whether to meet them.

When Tate learned of the situation, her brow furrowed, and she became nervous. She wasn't mentally prepared.

In fact, even if she weren't in prison, the thought of reuniting with her parents made her anxious and unsure.

"Tate, Mom and Dad have always been thinking about you. No matter what, you are their pride, their daughter," Raymond said. "I told them about this without your permission because I thought if anything happened, it would be a regret. Mom's health isn't good, and in three years, who knows what might happen."

You never know what'll come first, tomorrow or an accident.

Just like what happened to Ophelia. Before the accident, who would've thought someone so young like Ophelia would be gone?

Tate got what Raymond was hinting at; it was because of what happened to Ophelia.

"Alright," Tate said. "I'll see them."

"Great, I'll bring Mom and Dad in now," Raymond said, his face lighting up with joy. Even though the place for the family reunion wasn't ideal, being together was all that mattered.

Barbara and Eugene, knowing Tate was willing to see them, rushed into the cell, emotions running high.

Tate, in her prison clothes, stood there thin and expressionless. Seeing her parents come in, she got nervous too, but she was used to hiding her feelings and didn't show it.

"Tate," Barbara couldn't hold back her emotions the moment she saw Tate. She ran over and hugged her, crying uncontrollably, "My daughter, I finally found you."

Eugene wiped his tears. Before coming, he knew what Tate had been through. He only felt heartache for her and would never blame her for bringing shame to the Stewart family by being in prison.

Barbara hugged Tate so tightly she almost fainted from crying. She was too emotional.

"Tate, what kind of suffering have you endured, my poor daughter?"

Barbara's face was soaked with tears, and Eugene's eyes were red as he wiped his own tears.

Raymond gently patted Eugene's shoulder, silently comforting him.

It took Barbara a long time to calm down. Holding Tate's hand, she said, "Tate, behave well in there. Your dad and I will wait for you to come home. We'll make sure you come home early."

She wouldn't let Tate serve the full three years. Once things settled down, as long as Tate behaved well, the Stewart family could use their connections to get her out early.

"Tate, I'm Dad," Eugene stepped forward, his eyes full of love and his voice very gentle.

For the first time, Tate felt her parents' love. It was unfamiliar, yet warm.

After boss's baby, she Escape
