Chapter 228 Be Fearless

"Who is Finnegan's wife?" Lynn pressed for more information. "Who is it?"

The agent replied, "I don't know yet. I only know that Finnegan got married."

Lynn returned to her hotel room and immediately called Celia.

"Celia, is it true that Finnegan got married? Why didn't you tell me?" Lynn was somewhat angry. It was the second time Celia fooled her.

She thought Celia called her back because she accepted her, so she was confident about finding Finnegan.

She thought everything was going well, but she almost became the third party.

At the Abbott's Family mansion, Celia received the phone call and faced Lynn's questioning nonchalantly. "Whether my son gets married or not doesn't matter. Lynn, the purpose of me calling you back is to give you this opportunity. Whether you take it or not is up to you."

Lynn wasn't a fool and immediately understood Celia's intentions. "You're not satisfied with the woman Finnegan married, and you want me to break them up."

It was clear that Celia wanted to use her.

Celia sneered. "I never said that. I won't get involve in your affairs. Back then, you and Little Finnegan were quite compatible. Whether you can become my daughter-in-law depends on your abilities."

Celia would never admit it, but she wasn't worried about being fooled by Lynn either.

Now that Lynn had returned, she would definitely find Finnegan.

As long as Lynn was involved, it would definitely have a bad effect on Ophe and Finnegan.

"Celia, who is Finnegan's wife?" Lynn wanted to know more, but Celia had already hung up the phone.

Lynn felt angry. Although she knew that Celia made use of her, what could she do?

She felt really happy when she met Finnegan, and she had never been able to let go of Finnegan.

Celia wanted to use her but didn't want to be the villain. That was why she tricked her into coming back without telling her the truth. Celia was confident that once she saw Finnegan, no matter what pitfalls lay ahead, she would jump right in.

"Help me find out who Finnegan's wife is." Lynn quickly composed herself and told her agent, "I want to know everything about her."

"Lynn." the agent sighed helplessly. "What do you mean? They're already married."

"He owes me one." Lynn grabbed the agent's arm. "Why did the Abbott's Family get to bully me before? If they bullied me, then they have to take responsibility. I've worked so hard just to come back and find him. How could there be someone else by his side?"

The agent knew how hard Lynn had worked over the years and understood her pain. He also learned about the things Celia had done to drive Lynn away.

The agent advised, "Lynn, Celia has already hurt you once before. Now she wants to use you again. She's clearly setting a trap for you. Once you get involved with someone else's family, your career will be broken."

Lynn now had the image of a pure fairy. If she became a third party and destroyed someone else's family, all her years of effort would be wasted.

"What's the meaning of all these years of effort if I can't have him?" Lynn persisted. "Even if it's a trap, I'm willing to jump into it. Celia said she accepts me; as long as Finnegan agrees, then we can be together."

The agent wanted to persuade her again, to make Lynn see clearly that if Celia could find someone to humiliate Lynn, how could she let Finnegan marry Lynn?

But he couldn't bear to rub salt on Lynn's wounds, so he kept the words at the tip of his tongue.

Lynn let go of the agent. "If you don't help me, then I'll do it myself. I can feel that Finnegan still loves me. I want to give it another try, and I don't want any regrets."

"Alright, I'll help you." The agent finally softened. He had silently guarded Lynn for eight years, and he would help her get whatever she wanted.

At the Orchid Garden, Ophe took a shower and was reading a book about parenting.

Thinking about tomorrow's prenatal examination, Ophe downloaded an app to track the changes during pregnancy and to find out how many weeks pregnant she was and how big the baby should be.

It had been nearly three months, and the baby was about 2.76-3.15 inches long.

Ophe gestured with her hand to get a sense of how big the baby was.

She touched her belly and felt amazed.

Finnegan walked in at that moment. "Ophe, why aren't you sleeping yet?"

"Finnegan, our baby is about this size now." Ophe happily gestured. "It's around 2.76-3.15 inches. This app tells us when the baby should develop eyes, hands, and mouth so we can stay informed."

"We have a check-up tomorrow," Finnegan said, placing his hand on her belly. "I'll accompany you in the morning."
After boss's baby, she Escape
