Chapter 306 Embracing Bad Luck
Rhodes's words silenced Niamh directly, like a dream, leaving her unable to distinguish between reality and fiction.
Rhodes did seem perfectly fine, far from being drugged.
Rhodes naturally dared not admit it. If she did, her reputation would be ruined. Regardless of whether she had sex with a man or not, as long as she admitted to being drugged, the public would immediately start gossiping and speculating.

Rhodes confidently explained, "I came to Room 308 to change my clothes because my suit got dirty just now. Mrs. Abbott was with me the whole time. There was no man around at all. Niamh, stop spreading rumors. I have a good relationship with my sister. You're just talking nonsense."
The last sentence made Delaney feel ashamed. She glanced at Rhodes and quietly lowered her head.
At that moment, Ophelia walked out of Room 308, not saying anything but proving by her actions that Rhodes had not lied.
The crowd now understood everything and won't believe Niamh's words.
They would think that it was because Niamh felt embarrassed so she wanted to discredit Rhodes and Delaney.
"Niamh, as you came here to date Ricky, why did you still slander Rhodes and Delaney?" one said.
"Doing something like that at a birthday banquet was already shameless enough, needless to say accusing Rhodes and Delaney. You're so shameless." Another one added.
Niamh couldn't argue now as she had no evidence to prove that what she said was true. What's worse, her relationship with Ricky had become a fact.
Through angry and frustrated, Niamh could only accept the outcome.
She was in a deep regret. 'Why did I come to watch the accident, and now I has become the biggest joke.' She thought.
Niamh didn't know what went wrong. She clearly heard Delaney instructing someone to drug Rhodes, but why did nothing happen?
Niamh immediately thought of something and looked at Ricky, asking, "Why did you come to this room? Did you think Rhodes was in this room, and you came to find her?"
At this point, Niamh still wanted to change everything, but she didn't see the essence of the matter. Even if it was proven that she had entered by mistake, the incident had already occurred. Nothing could be changed.
Ricky wouldn't admit that he came to see Rhodes, otherwise he would offend both the Prescott family and the Parks family.

Niamh was stunned, her emotions running high. "Ricky, what are you spreading rumors about?"
Ricky covered Niamh's mouth with his own, and the world fell silent. The onlookers stood frozen in shock.
'Are they going to show their relationship in front of everyone here?' The crowd thought.
Ricky really lived up to his reputation as someone greedy for beauty.
Niamh was shocked, her eyes widened, and her mind became instantly confused.
After kissing Niamh, Ricky released her, picked her up before she could react, and said to Wade, "Sorry, we're leaving now."
Ricky carried Niamh and walked very quickly, and the crowd instinctively made way for him.
Niamh came to her senses and struggled to make a scene. Ricky lowered his voice and said, "If you want to go back and make a fool of yourself, go ahead and cry. Do you think I want to have sex with you? I didn't even know it was you. Today, both you and I can only accept bad luck."
