Chapter 177 Strike the Soul
Paxton was thrown out and crashed heavily into the table legs and two chairs.
Paxton cried out in pain on the ground.
This time, Ophe finally saw who it was–Finnegan.

Having been in similar situations before, Caspian knew the importance of carrying something for self-defense, such as an antidote against being drugged.
Caspian immediately realized what was happening to Ophe and retrieved the antidote from his bag to give to Finnegan.
Finnegan administered the antidote to Ophe and comforted her, saying, "You'll be fine soon."
He kissed Ophe's forehead and reassured her. Ever since he had arrived, Ophe had felt calm. As long as he was there, she felt at ease.
The drug in Ophe's body was essentially a stimulant, while the antidote provided by Caspian helped to calm her down.
Having been struck, Paxton regained his composure and, fueled by pain, grew enraged. Without even bothering to see who had hit him, he rose and picked up a chair, ready to strike Finnegan from behind.
Ophe noticed and anxiously shouted, "Watch out, Finnegan!"
Finnegan couldn't dodge in time and was struck hard, but he remained motionless.
Caspian worriedly stated, "Finnegan..."
It was this blow from Paxton that completely enraged Finnegan.
Finnegan turned around; his cold eyes filled with menace. "Paxton, it seems like you have nothing left to lose in this world."
After Finnegan turned around, Paxton finally recognized him and was dumbfounded. "CEO Abbott's."
With the stuttering, Paxton instantly diminished his confidence and nervously set the chair he was holding down, too afraid to make any further moves.
Paxton felt utterly helpless. Before he could even plead for mercy, Finnegan delivered a swift kick to his abdomen.
Paxton fell to his knees in pain, his face turning as red as a beet, and he expressed agony. "CEO Abbott's, I truly didn't know it was you. Is this woman your wife? I didn't know that. I was wrong, CEO Abbott's."
Finnegan looked down at Paxton from a higher vantage point, his voice icy. "She's my wife. Do you think I would spare you?"
"Wife?"
Paxton was shocked when he looked at Ophe and Finnegan. This news was a soul-crushing blow to him. 'When did Finnegan get married?' He pondered.
Paxton noticed the rings on Ophe and Finnegan's fingers, and he was even more stunned. He now understood Ophe's previous warning to him. If he knew that Ophe was Finnegan's wife, he wouldn't dare to have any ill intentions toward her, no matter how bold he was.
Caspian stood by, enjoying the spectacle, and thought that Paxton must be tired of living to bully Ophe.
Paxton's scream just now caused quite a stir. People from the neighboring private room came out to see what was going on. A crowd gathered at the door and saw the mess in the room where Paxton kneeled in front of Finnegan and heard the words that Ophe was Finnegan's wife.
At these words, they were all stunned. Given the situation, everyone understood what had happened. Paxton wanted to bully Ophe, but little did he know that Ophe was Finnegan's wife.
Now, he had stirred up trouble for himself. Even if he were the vice president of the Grande Group, he would tremble with fear if he provoked Finnegan.
