Chapter 584 Everything Is Over
After admitting it, Niamh felt particularly relieved. She had been holding the secret in for far too long.
Niamh laughed sinisterly. "It feels so good, Ophelia. So what if I poisoned Dovie? What can you do to me? Since you care so much about Dovie, I'll send you both to hell to reunite. Don't appreciate me for that."
"Niamh, you're insane," Ophelia said angrily. "My mom raised you for ten years. How could you be so heartless?"
"Because she wanted to leave the entire estate to you. I am the true heiress of the Parks family." Niamh's eyes were bloodshot with jealousy. "Ophelia, I hate you. Your presence took everything from me. The Parks family and Finnegan should have been mine."
"After you returned to the Parks family, Dovie treated you so well, but it turned out that you're an ungrateful person," Ophelia said coldly. "You will suffer retribution."
"Whether I'll suffer retribution or not, you won't live to see it," Niamh laughed eerily. "Enjoy the feeling of being buried alive."
Ophelia took a deep breath and glanced out the window. "Niamh, how did you poison Dovie's food? Was it through food incompatibility?"
"So what if it was? You guessed it, but do you have any evidence?" Niamh said arrogantly. "I went to great lengths to poison Dovie. Isn't she supposed to be smart? How did she not know about food incompatibility? I slowly damaged her stomach, her liver, and her lungs. She didn't even know how she died." Niamh sneered sinisterly.
Niamh was too excited, thrilled by her doings.
"Oh, and Sybil, that bitch tried to harm me. Guess what happened to her? I ran her over with my car repeatedly. It was so satisfying and thrilling," Niamh was completely deranged, a total lunatic.
"Niamh, you're inhuman," Ophelia said with hatred. "Seraphina's death was your doing too, wasn't it?"
"Want to know?" Niamh squatted down, looking at Ophelia with immense pride. "Seraphina was an idiot. She hated you too, but she was too stupid to accomplish anything, which is why your bastard daughter had a chance to be born. But Seraphina wasn't killed by me. It was Deacon who let someone silence her. Didn't Rex already admit that?"
Ophelia said, "Even if it was Deacon or Rex, the real culprit behind Seraphina's death is you."
"If you want to think that way, go ahead," Niamh didn't care anymore and sneered. "Ophelia, you're truly pathetic. Your two best friends are dead. Oh, you don't know why Magnus died, do you?"
Hearing this, Ophelia dilated her pupils. "Is Magnus' death related to you too?"
"I was there and watched Magnus get pushed off," Niamh said gleefully. "Magnus was as stupid as Seraphina. He tried to follow Rex and got caught. Of course, he had to be silenced."
"Niamh, you deserve a horrible death," Ophelia said furiously. "As you've killed so many people, retribution is waiting for you."
"Ophelia, do you know why I'm telling you all this? Because I want you to die with regrets," Niamh laughed loudly. "Only by you living in agony and dying with regrets will my hatred be appeased."
"Is that so?" Ophelia sneered. "What a pity. The one dying with regrets won't be me."
"What do you mean? Ophelia, you're on the brink of death and still want to struggle?" Niamh said viciously. "The big pit should be almost dug. This house was where Dovie lived. I'll bury you in the yard so you can reunite with your mom. See how good I am to you?"
Ophelia smiled. "Why don't you go out and see if Jesse has finished digging the pit?"
Niamh felt a chill from Ophelia's smile. She hadn't heard any noise outside, and Ophelia's words made her even more uneasy. Niamh quickly went out to check.
The yard was empty without any sign of Jesse.
'Could Jesse have run away?' Niamh thought.
Just as Niamh was about to lose her temper and go back inside to deal with Ophelia herself, countless lights suddenly illuminated the house, and numerous police officers swarmed in.
Niamh tried to run but had nowhere to go. She was caught by a police officer and handcuffed.
It was then that Niamh noticed Jesse had also been caught and was being led out in handcuffs by the police.
Landon walked out and said, "Keep an eye on these two."
Then Landon went inside. After a while, he came out with Ophelia.
Ophelia stood on the steps, looking down at the disheveled Niamh with a voice recorder, and said, "It wasn't easy getting you to confess to your crimes, Niamh. I told you that the one dying with regrets won't be me. Didn't you suspect anything when Jesse suddenly showed up?"
Hearing Ophelia's words, Jesse suddenly realized the truth and said, "You were the one who texted me saying Niamh was in danger. You lured me here on purpose."
