Chapter 365 The Journey to Discover Her Origins

Ophelia had doubts about her origins. She didn't want to be deceived by others, so she decided to find out for herself.
Tate was responsible for Ophelia's safety. Wherever Ophelia went, she followed, never saying much.
One hour later, they arrived at the orphanage.

The rain had stopped, but the playground at the orphanage was still wet. The children couldn't go out to play and had to stay in the classroom to read books and play with building blocks.
The orphanage had teachers responsible for the children's education.
But this was only for children before elementary school age. Once they reached school age, they had to go to school outside.

Ophelia had walked out from here. The orphanage in her memory was very old. It had been renovated several times over the years, expanded in scale, and the facilities had become more complete.
Hollis was receiving donations from local businesspeople, and Ophelia just wandered around.

Every corner here was filled with memories. The current cafeteria used to be the dormitory.
Ophelia was standing outside a classroom watching the children having a lesson when suddenly a boy bumped into her.
Ophelia stepped back in time, and Tate caught the child, preventing him from bumping into Ophelia's belly.
A few more children came running after him; it turned out they were playing a game.

The boy was very polite. "I'm sorry."
The boy looked about three years old, very cute and chubby. Ophelia rarely smiled. "It's okay. Be careful when you run, don't fall, and go play in that open space over there."

The boy suddenly reached out his small hand and touched Ophelia's belly. "There's a little sister in here."

Ophelia asked with a smile, "How do you know it's a little sister?"
It's said that children can tell the gender, and their words are often accurate.

The boy nodded. "I just know it's a little sister."

"Then I hope it's true." Ophelia touched her belly, looking forward to having a daughter.
Given Finnegan's doting nature, if it were a daughter, Finnegan would spoil her a lot.

"A beautiful sister." The boy waved his little hand, greeting the baby in Ophelia's belly, "Hello, little sister, my name is Chubby."
Chubby was the boy's nickname.

A teacher from the orphanage came over. "Chubby, come with me. You will have parents soon."

Ophelia was familiar with this phrase, meaning Chubby had been adopted.
He was so cute that many people would want to adopt him.

"Goodbye, Auntie." He waved politely to Ophelia.
After he left, Hollis finished his work and came over quickly after learning Ophelia had arrived.

Ophelia's status was not ordinary now, and Hollis dared not neglect her.
"Ophelia, long time no see, still as beautiful as ever." Hollis said politely. "How many months along are you? Your belly is pointy. It must be a boy."
Hollis didn't know the gender either, just being polite, as wealthy families always wanted sons.

Ophelia smiled politely, "Principal, how have you been lately?"

"Very well, you see. I look great." Hollis was in a good mood and healthy, probably because of the recent donations.
"Ophelia, come into the office and sit. Don't stand."
Hollis was very respectful, even a bit ingratiating.

It was true that Ophelia had come from here, but so many orphans left here every year that Hollis couldn't take care of each one. The ones who truly took care of the children here were the living teachers.
Ophelia and Hollis entered the office, with Tate following closely, always alert.
Hollis poured water and brought fruit for Ophelia. "Ophelia, is there something you need to do here this time?"
Hollis thought that with Ophelia's current status, she wouldn't come back empty-handed and would contribute something to the orphanage.

Sure enough, Ophelia took out a check for ten thousand dollars and said, "Principal, I came from here and want to do something for the children. Use this money to buy supplies and educational materials for them."

"Ophelia, I knew you were a grateful child." Hollis smiled brightly.

Ophelia smiled lightly, "Principal, there's something I want to ask you about my biological parents. Do you have any clues? Or has anyone come to the orphanage looking for me? When the orphanage found me, were there any distinguishing features, and under what circumstances? Do you remember?"
After boss's baby, she Escape
