Chapter 763 Misunderstood Ophelia

Lynn knew Lily wasn't Ophelia, but she didn't know Susan and the others had become aware of that fact.

Susan sighed, "Finnegan found out Ophelia passed away and couldn't handle the shock."

"Finnegan knows?" Lynn was shocked. "You all know too?"

Caspian was surprised. "Lynn, you knew all along?"

Lynn was probably the first to know.

"Yeah, Lily told me earlier," Lynn said. "I was worried Finnegan couldn't handle it, so I didn't tell him. How did he find out?"

Caspian said, "Lily fell and was hospitalized, so the truth came out."

"Could Finnegan be in trouble for doing something rash? I saw him exiting the hospital just now," Lynn asked, worried.

Tate said, "He probably went to the cemetery to see Ophelia."

Susan quickly said, "Caspian, go to the cemetery and keep an eye on him. Don't let him do anything foolish."

"Okay, don't worry. I'll go right now and make sure Finnegan is safe."

Caspian and Tate left together.

Lynn took Susan back to the hotel. Lily was in the hospital, and Gavin and Dylan were with her. Susan felt it was inappropriate to stay at the Cooper family house.

Warmie was still awake. She had just eaten, and was reading a book.

Warmie used books to learn poetry, numbers, and literacy.

Celia saw Susan didn't look well and that Lynn had returned quickly, so she asked, "What happened? Where's Finnegan? Didn't he come back with you?"

Hearing Finnegan's name, Warmie looked up from her book. "Where's Daddy? Didn't Daddy come back?"

Seeing the adorable Warmie, Susan's eyes filled with tears, but she forced a smile and said, "Your dad has something to do. He'll come find you when he's done. Warmie, you're reading a book, that's great."

Warmie beamed. "Daddy says I'm the smartest baby."

"Yes, you're the smartest," Susan said lovingly.

Susan then gave Lynn a look, signaling her to take Warmie to the room as she had something to discuss with Celia.

Lynn understood and smiled, "Warmie, want to come to the room with me? I'll teach you some words and quiz you."

"Okay." Warmie picked up her book and followed Lynn into the room.

Susan sat down on the living room sofa and said to Celia, "Sit down. I have something to tell you so you can be prepared."

Seeing Susan so serious, Celia felt something major must have happened. She sat down and asked, "Mom, did something big happen? Is Ophelia really going to divorce Finnegan?"

"If only it were just a divorce," Susan sighed again. "Ophelia is dead."

"What, dead again?" Celia reacted strongly.

Susan was left speechless.

It was a sad matter, but Celia's words left Susan choked up.

Susan said, "Not dead again, she was never alive. Ophelia didn't survive the shipwreck. The one who came back was..."

"A ghost?" Celia interjected, scaring herself. "No wonder Ophelia has been acting so strange for the past six months and even cheated on Finnegan."

Susan was completely speechless.

Susan closed her eyes and took a moment before saying, "It's a person, but not Ophelia. It's Lily."

"Mom, what are you talking about? I'm so confused." Celia's mind was clearly not keeping up.

"The current Ophelia is Lily after plastic surgery," Susan explained simply. "Now Finnegan knows, and it can't be hidden anymore. Finnegan went to the cemetery to see Ophelia..."

Susan explained everything, and Celia finally understood.

After learning the truth, Celia was stunned for a long time, not knowing what to say. She didn't expect things to turn out this way.

Warmie no longer had a mom.

Ophelia didn't come back alive, and she realized she had misunderstood Ophelia all along.

After boss's baby, she Escape
