Chapter 358 Causing Trouble

Whether Niamh was the heiress of Parks Corporation or not wasn't important to Finnegan.
Finnegan nonchalantly tapped Niamh's face with the fruit knife and said, "When did you start colluding with Seraphina? Confess everything, including Sybil's death."

The fear of the knife tapping on her face made Niamh's heart tremble. To save her other fingers, she confessed everything. "On the day the Sakura Restaurant opened, I ran into Seraphina, who told me she hated Ophelia. I also resented Ophelia because she took you away from me. Also, because of her, I was humiliated by Ricky."

Niamh continued crying. "I thought Ophelia deliberately led me to Rhodes' room back then. I just wanted to teach Ophelia a lesson. I didn't expect Seraphina to say she wanted to kill the child in Ophelia's belly. And this wasn't the first time she did something like this."

Niamh pushed most of the blame onto Seraphina, who was dead and couldn't testify after all.
Besides, she only provided the drug; she didn't do the rest.
She didn't fully express her resentment towards Ophelia.
She knew that if she revealed all her hatred for Ophelia, which would provoke Finnegan even more, she wouldn't walk out alive.

Listening to Niamh's account, Caspian was taken aback. Niamh's ruthlessness was truly infuriating.
'The scheming and tricks among women were always unexpected.' He thought.

Finnegan put away the knife, pulled out a tissue, and calmly wiped the blood off the knife. "What about Seraphina's death? What happened?"

"I don't know." Niamh shook her head and denied it. "I really don't know. I was at the police station at the time. Landon can testify. I was taken back to the police station. How could I have harmed Seraphina? Besides, Seraphina was in prison. I don't have that kind of power."

Niamh was also surprised by Seraphina's death, but she had her suspicions about who did it. However, she couldn't say. She absolutely couldn't say it, even if it meant death.
As for Sybil's cause of death, Niamh wouldn't confess either. If she did, she wouldn't escape death.

Meanwhile, Natalie went to the police station to pick up Niamh, only to find out that Niamh had already left.
Natalie called Dovie. "Dovie, they said Niamh went back. Is she home?"

Knowing that Niamh wasn't at home, Dovie immediately realized something was wrong and asked, "How long has it been since Niamh left? She hasn't arrived home."

Natalie was anxious. "They said it's been over an hour. Why hasn't Niamh called? She hasn't come back. Where could she have gone?"

"I got it. I'll call Old Abbott. Finnegan might have taken her." Dovie said urgently, "I've warned Niamh multiple times not to provoke Ophelia."

"Where did Finnegan take her?" Natalie was both anxious and scared. "What does he want to do to Niamh? If he dares to hurt Niamh, I'll make him pay."

"I'll call Old Abbott first." Dovie didn't want to waste time with Natalie.
If Finnegan wanted to hurt Niamh, there was nothing they could do but watch helplessly.
Dovie immediately called Jude, who was at the hospital taking care of Old Abbott. Old Abbott was sick and didn't have her phone with her, so Dovie could only contact Jude.

At the hospital, Jude saw the caller ID and was puzzled. 'Why is Dovie calling me?' He pondered.

Old Abbott was resting, so Jude took the phone and prepared to go out to answer it. Celia came in and asked, "Who's calling?"

Jude didn't hide it and said, "It's Dovie."

Celia snorted coldly. "She just went back, and now she's calling you. Are you two having an affair?"

"You're overthinking it." Jude said helplessly.

"Then you can't answer the phone." Celia said unreasonably. "She just left and is already calling you. I don't believe you two have no affairs. What did you two do at the hospital last night? If you don't explain it clearly today, you're not going anywhere, and you can't answer the phone."
After boss's baby, she Escape
