Chapter 327 Consequences

When she heard about the threat of being thrown off, Seraphina was instantly scared, but she believed that Finnegan wouldn't dare to kill her.
She thought Finnegan was trying to scare her and wouldn't actually do it.

"Finnegan, I really don't know anything," Seraphina continued to play dumb. "What's going on? Is something wrong with Ophelia?"

Finnegan looked at her coldly without saying a word, and the two bodyguards dragged her to the edge of the rooftop, almost pushing half of her body outside the balcony.
Seeing the height, Finnegan's seriousness made Seraphina truly frightened this time. She tightly grabbed the bodyguard's clothes, crying and begging. "Finnegan, I really don't know."
The bodyguards lifted her legs, Seraphina's whole body lifted into the air. With a gentle push, she would be thrown off.
From such a height onto the concrete ground below, it would surely be fatal.

With a scream, Seraphina quickly changed her tune. "I'll admit!"
Only when she agreed did the bodyguards release her.

Seraphina sat on the ground weakly, tears streaming down her face, a result of sheer terror.

Finnegan took a step forward, looking down at her with disdain. "Seraphina, did you really think I, Finnegan, wouldn't dare? If you fall from here, your bones might rot before anyone even knows. Do you think I dare or not?"

Seraphina looked at Finnegan in tears, realizing at that moment that he held the power. If he wanted to kill her, it would be a simple slip and fall, and who would care about the life or death of such an insignificant person like her?
She was an orphan.

As she had harmed Ophelia, Ophelia couldn't do anything for her.
Fearfully, Seraphina asked, "Did Ophelia really have a miscarriage?"
At that moment, all she wanted was to confirm this fact. After all she had done, she just wanted to see Ophelia suffer; she couldn't have done it all for nothing.

Finnegan coldly replied, "You'll be disappointed."

"How could she? She drank milk; she must have." Seraphina realized she had spoken out of turn, a sense of despair welling up inside her.

At this point, Seraphina no longer concealed anything. Trembling, she stood up and said to Finnegan, "It was me. All of this is because of you, Finnegan. You provoked me first and chose me. Why then chose Ophelia? You treat her so well, buy her everything, get married within a month, and have a child, but what about me?"
Seraphina poured out all her grievances, placing all the blame on Finnegan.

Upon hearing these words, Finnegan felt nothing but disgust. "It was you who impersonated Ophe. Seraphina, I told you from the beginning I would only give you one chance. Now, you've used up that chance. If you dare to harm the child in Ophe's belly, you should be prepared to face the consequences."

"It's not my fault; it's yours." Seraphina's emotions flared. "You lifted me up high, only to drop me hard. Did you ever consider my feelings? Ophelia claimed to be my good friend, but in the end, she turned against me and defended me at every turn because of a man. As she's so rich, she even refused to help me pay off my debt, which is only a few hundred thousand dollars."
Seraphina felt that Ophelia should have treated her well, as if the whole world owed her.

In contrast to Seraphina's emotional outburst, Finnegan's face remained cold, with only a chilling tone as he questioned, "How did you tamper with the milk powder, and where did you get the abortion pills?"

"I bought the pills myself." Seraphina didn't reveal Niamh as an accomplice. At this point, she honestly explained, "I saw Magnus was going to send something to Ophelia, and I thought of mixing the abortion pills in. I bought the same brand of milk powder, made a hole at the bottom, and poured the pills in. I didn't expect Ophelia to take it so quickly. Since she did, how could she still keep the child?"

'If she hadn't taken it, Finnegan wouldn't have come to find her.' She thought.

"Originally, Ophe was supposed to take it, but Old Abbott did, and now she's in the hospital." Finnegan's tone was almost indifferent. "Seraphina, your actions amount to poisoning and intentional harm. Magnus knows best how such crimes are judged and how many years in prison you should serve."

If intentional harm resulted in serious consequences, she would be imprisoned.
As Old Abbott was lying in the hospital, Seraphina couldn't escape.
After boss's baby, she Escape
