Chapter 405 Finally Called Mom

They are returning to the old mansion.
Celia quickly had the kitchen prepare some delicious food and personally went to wash imported fruits for Ophelia.

Ophelia had just returned from France and hadn't had a chance to rest. She went straight to the hospital.

After such a long flight, she was very tired, but seeing Celia's enthusiasm and Old Abbott coming downstairs with a smile to greet her, the whole family was very happy, and Ophelia's fatigue dissipated.

The family gathered around Ophelia, asking her various questions.

Old Abbott held Ophelia's hand and said, "Ophelia, you've worked hard."

"It's not hard. It's what I should do." Ophelia remembered the money Old Abbott had transferred earlier and said, "I'll transfer the twenty billion back to you later. I didn't spend a penny."

"I gave it to you, so it's yours now." Old Abbott's words surprised Ophelia.

That was twenty billion, and Ophelia didn't dare to accept it. "This money should be returned to you."

Old Abbott said, "No need to return it to me. Consider it a gift for my unborn great-grandchild. At my age, money is of no use to me, and I have no chance to spend it. Take the twenty billion, and call me grandma. Do you think I can't afford that small sum of money?"
Celia came over with more washed fruits and, hearing this, felt that the money she had prepared for the name change was too little.

As Jude had predicted, the price would go up if she delayed giving the name change money.

Celia hesitated about whether to take it out, and Jude said, "Celia, didn't you go upstairs to prepare the name change money? Give it to Ophelia quickly."

Celia was speechless.
Ophelia and Old Abbott looked at Celia.

Celia smiled awkwardly and walked over with the fruits. "I didn't."

Celia wanted to deny it, but Old Abbott said, "Don't be shy. We're all family."

Only then did Celia hand over a prepared bank card to Ophelia. "Daughter-in-law, this is the name change money I prepared for you. I'm not as wealthy as your grandma, so there's only four hundred thousand in it. Take it, and from now on, you're my daughter-in-law. Live well with Finnegan and give me a granddaughter."
Celia tried to act like an elder but was worried about overdoing it, so she spoke a bit awkwardly.

Ophelia slightly bowed and handed Celia a cup of coffee "Mom, please have some coffee."

The word 'Mom' made Celia feel very comfortable, and she smiled happily.
Celia took the coffee from her daughter-in-law and drank it, then handed the bank card to Ophelia. "The password is the last six digits."

"Thank you." Ophelia accepted it with a smile.

Linda arrived at this moment, and Ophelia called her into the room, solemnly instructing her, "Linda, please expedite the process at the identification center and get the results as soon as possible."

Ophelia handed over her hair and Dovie's hair to Linda.

"Okay." Linda didn't ask much and said, "By the way, Ophelia, Parks Corporation has changed. Dovie is critically ill, and Niamh will take over as the new chairman next Monday."

"Next Monday, that's only three days away." Ophelia said, "Get the results before Monday."
"Okay." Linda took the hair and left first.

Ophelia saw her out and, upon returning to the house, heard Celia and Jude chatting.
The news that Niamh was taking over Parks Corporation had spread, and Celia knew about it, too.

Celia snorted coldly, "I think this Niamh and Natalie are in cahoots. They both want Dovie dead. Dovie hasn't even passed away yet, and Niamh is already eager to take over the company."

Jude said, "Dovie is critically ill, and the company is in chaos. It's reasonable for Niamh to step in and take over."

"It's not reasonable. She's not Dovie's biological daughter." Celia said, "Didn't Dovie meet with me alone? Do you know what Dovie told me? She asked me to help find her biological daughter. Niamh is actually Natalie's daughter."

"What?" Jude was shocked. "Is that true?"

Ophelia was standing at the living room door, and Celia noticed her but didn't mind.
"Why are you standing there? Come sit down. Standing is tiring, and your back can't take it." Celia went up to help Ophelia sit down.

Ophelia asked, "Mom, did Dovie really tell you that Niamh is Natalie's daughter?"

"Yes." Celia said, "I promised Dovie to help her find her daughter. Once we find her, I'll treat her as my daughter."
After boss's baby, she Escape
