Ophelia also found it strange that Natalie couldn't possibly kept her daughter a secret, as there was no reason for her to do that.
Even as a single mother, Natalie was able to raise her daughter.
Even Finnegan didn't know about this, which was even more strange.
Ophelia said, "Magnus told me that Natalie has a daughter. Natalie must have visited the orphanage I was in before. She went there to find her daughter."
"If you're curious, I'll ask my mom later," Finnegan said. "Or I could ask Niamh."
"I was just asking casually." Ophelia said.
Finnegan had already left the house early in the morning before Ophelia woke up, while Lynn was having breakfast.
Ophelia walked downstairs and said to her, "I'm really sorry about last night. I owe you a meal; let's make it up another day."
"It's okay." Lynn asked, "How is your friend doing?"
"In the hospital still," Ophelia said. "He got a dozen stitches on the head; luckily, someone passed by and saved Magnus, or the consequences would have been unimaginable."
"Is he a fool who don't know fighting back?"Lynn asked, "Does he really have to be beaten to death to fight back?"
"He must be foolish enough," Ophelia said sadly, "After all it was his father, he couldn't bring himself to do it."
Lynn didn't say anything more and set down her utensils. "I've found a house, and I'm ready to move out," she said.
"Weren't you supposed to stay for three months? Are you not staying anymore?"
"Living here is not useful," Lynn realized the reality. "I don't regret coming back, which helps me give up my mind."
Ophelia asked again, "So, are you going abroad?"
"Not going anymore, I plan to develop in the country," Lynn said. "After finishing the variety show, I plan to open a dance studio. When I left New York, Celia compensated me with a sum of money. I haven't touched that money all this time, which can serve as the startup capital for the dance studio. Back then, I felt humiliated, but now, after all these years have passed, the abuser shows no remorse. I've been stuck in a swamp, only amplifying the pain, giving the abuser more satisfaction."
She had angina, no longer fit for various competitions. So, she planned to open a studio, take in some students, and live a simple life.
This was the first time Lynn had spoken so much to Ophelia. Seeing Finnegan and Ophelia getting along, Lynn no longer held out hope and decided to cut her losses in time.
Ophelia admired Lynn a lot, saying, "If you need help, don't hesitate to ask; feel free to trouble Finnegan."
Lynn was taken aback and laughed. "I thought you would let me trouble you. It seemed that you're not afraid that I'll take your husband.'"
Ophelia smiled and said, "I owe you nothing, so if you want to trouble me, you'll owe me a favor. Celia and Finnegan owe you so don't be too polite to take back your compensation."
Lynn said, "I should stay away from Celia as I don't want to get bitten by a dog."
At that moment, Ophelia finally felt a sense of finding a kindred spirit. Ophelia and Lynn shared the same thoughts about Celia,which is staying away from her as much as possible.
Lynn suddenly gossiped, "Ophelia, what kind of posture do you and Finnegan use when making love?"
Ophelia was speechless.
Ophelia looked at Lynn with an understanding gaze.
Lynn felt embarrassed,adding, "I was just curious."
Ophelia leaned close to Lynn's ear and whispered something in a voice that can only be heard between them.
Lynn blushed instantly, feeling particularly embarrassed. "So, that night, it was you who took the initiative to have sex with him."
Lynn didn't have the courage, never expecting that Finnegan would like this type, and enjoyed being passive.
Ophelia summarized, "Actually, men are the more decent on the surface, the more passive in private."
Lynn was educated.
Ophelia chatted with Lynn for a while, had breakfast, and then went to the hospital to visit Magnus.
When Ophelia arrived, Seraphina was taking care of Magnus in the ward.
"Ophelia, you're here," Seraphina said with a smile. "I heard that Magnus was hospitalized, so I took a leave of absence. I'll take care of him at the hospital; you don't have to run back and forth so hard."
Seraphina brought food over and then fetched hot water for Magnus to wash up.

As Seraphina took a leave, Magnus tacitly agreed to let Seraphina take care of him.

Ophelia said, "Seraphina, thank you for your hard work."
"It's the only thing I can do," Seraphina said enthusiastically. "I also stewed some chicken soup. Ophelia, you should have some too."
