Chapter 608 Taking Warmie Away

"Master, maybe we should leave City N for a while to lay low," Anthony suggested. "Aria seems to be leaning towards Tate, and it's very dangerous to keep her around."

Lloyd gave him a cold glance as soon as he finished speaking. "What? Do you think I need you to teach me how to handle things?"

"Master, I wouldn't dare," Anthony said, lowering his head submissively.

"Go make the arrangements," Lloyd ordered sternly. "Before we leave, we need to take one more person with us."

"Master, who?"

"Warmie, Finnegan's daughter," Lloyd said. "She has great potential."

Lloyd wanted to take Warmie not only because he liked her, but also to deal a heavy blow to the Abbott family.

"Yes, Master, I'll handle it right away."

"Go on." Lloyd waved him off.

Once Anthony left, Lloyd headed to the Abbott family estate to see Susan.

The situation with Tate had made Lloyd uneasy. Although Anthony suggested leaving, Lloyd had already been considering it. However, as the founder, he couldn't propose it himself and had to put up a front when Anthony brought it up.

At the Abbott family estate, Susan was once again engaged in prayer.

Ever since Jude and Celia divorced, Susan hadn't been as carefree as before. She spent most of her time at home.

When Lloyd arrived, he went straight upstairs and knocked on Susan's door.

"Mom," Lloyd said as he walked in.

"Lloyd, you're here," Susan said. "Sit down. What brings you here today?"

"Mom, I came to see you," Lloyd said. "Has Finnegan been back?"

"They have their own problems to deal with. It's good enough if they can take care of themselves," Susan sighed. "No one knows when Finnegan's eyesight will improve, and I've heard Ophelia's health isn't great either."

"Ophelia's health isn't good? Since when?" Lloyd asked.

"Just the usual issues women have," Susan said vaguely. "Lloyd, are you really planning to settle down in City N and not leave?"

Susan's gaze bore into Lloyd, giving him the feeling that she could see right through him. He smiled, concealing any emotions. "Yes."

Susan patted Lloyd's hand. "All right. You should get back to your work; I need to continue praying."

"Alright, Mom, I won't disturb you then. Take care of yourself," Lloyd said as he got up to leave. At the door, he glanced back at Susan.

Lloyd intended to leave, which was why he had come to see Susan.

He genuinely hoped Susan would take care of herself so she could witness what was to come.

In a residential area, Tate was in her room making masks. Raymond had brought all the materials.

Tate didn't know how she knew how to do it. It just came naturally, as if she was born with the skill.

During her days there, Tate hadn't left the house or contacted others.

Raymond didn't restrict her movements, but she didn't want to go out either.

If she ventured out now, she would either bring trouble to Raymond or put herself in danger.

She had already made several masks, each one different. She wasn't sure what Moonlight Gate was like, but she could only guess based on the information Raymond provided. If Moonlight Gate was really that powerful and wanted to silence her, she'd need to keep changing her appearance.

Just then, she heard the sound of the code lock opening.

'Is Raymond back?' she thought.

Judging by the time, it was about when Raymond would return with food.

Tate stepped out of her room, dressed casually, wearing slippers, and with her hair down, exuding a relaxed aura.

When she saw it wasn't Raymond who came in, her expression tensed.

It was Karen who had entered.

Karen had come to find Raymond on Caspian's orders to probe for information.

As soon as she walked in and saw Tate, Karen's eyes widened in surprise, and she asked, "What are you doing here? What's your relationship with Raymond? Are you his girlfriend?"

Tate remembered that Raymond had mentioned he had a sister named Karen.

She hadn't expected that the arrogant and domineering girl who had previously insulted her and mistaken her for Caspian's new fling was actually her sister.
After boss's baby, she Escape
