Chapter 642 Tate, Goodbye

Before Jude and Finnegan arrived, Ophelia had already pleased Celia.

Not long after, Jude came, dressed up and looking sharp.

On the way, Finnegan had made things clear to Jude.

When they entered the private room, Celia and Jude exchanged a glance, both feeling a bit embarrassed.

They had been married for many years, and in the end, it was Finnegan and Ophelia who had to play matchmaker.

Jude bought a bouquet of flowers on the way and handed it to Celia with a bit of shyness. "Honey, these are for you."

Celia blushed, glanced at Ophelia and Finnegan, and said to Jude, "We've been married for so many years. Why are you still giving me flowers?"

Celia and Jude finally talked things out.

Seeing Celia relent, Jude was particularly happy. "Honey, you finally forgave me. How about we remarry tomorrow?"

Celia sat down and said, "What's the hurry? Didn't you say you were treating us to dinner? I want to have a good meal today. Let's see how you behave, and then we'll talk about remarrying."

Jude then realized that Finnegan had tricked him. It wasn't Celia treating them to dinner, it was him.

But as long as he could make Celia happy, that was all that mattered.

Ophelia and Finnegan exchanged a look and decided not to disturb them.

Finnegan, holding Warmie, said, "Celia, Jude, enjoy your meal. Ophelia and I are going to see a movie."

"Aren't you going to eat?" Celia said, "Why are you taking Warmie to see a movie?"

Finnegan said, "We're going to have some family time."

Ophelia smiled, "Celia, Jude, we're leaving now."

Ophelia and Finnegan had other plans, so they left first.

Finnegan really bought movie tickets and took Ophelia to see a movie. Warmie was very odedient, excited when they entered the theater, and soon fell asleep.

Ophelia hadn't watched a movie in a long time and hadn't relaxed like this for a long time.

After the movie, they went out for a late-night snack.

When Warmie was hungry, she had formula, which Finnegan had prepared before leaving.

At the roadside food stall, Warmie sat in the stroller holding a bottle, while Ophelia and Finnegan sat on either side, each holding a drink.

Finnegan laughed, "Come on, let's toast as a family. To Warmie's healthy growth, to Ophelia's eternal youth, and to always being happy and healthy."

Warmie didn't know what a toast was. Finnegan and Ophelia clinked their glasses against Warmie's bottle. Ophelia laughed , "To my daughter's health, to my love's peace and joy, cheers."

Finnegan smiled, "Cheers."

They both took a sip of their drinks.

Warmie looked at Ophelia and Finnegan, seemed to understand, and took a sip from her bottle, which made Finnegan and Ophelia laugh.

Seeing Ophelia and Finnegan laugh, Warmie also giggled.

See, happiness was really that simple.

A meal, a family.

Finnegan kept his word and had already handed the company over to trusted people to manage. Except for important decisions that required his signature, he generally didn't need to be involved.

Atticus had recovered and could return to work at the company, and with Linda as a trusted aide, Finnegan wouldn't need to worry about too much.

Due to the issue with Lloyd, there was not many days remaining before the wedding date Wilder had set.

Finnegan set a new wedding date.

Finnegan was now fully focused on preparing for the wedding, spending every day with Ophelia and Warmie, traveling around and enjoying life while planning the wedding.

Time passed by quickly.

The trial results for Tate had come out. She was sentenced to three years, while Aria received the death penalty, to be executed immediately.

Tate didn't know Aria's fate as their trials were separate. She always thought Aria got life imprisonment and never expected Raymond would deceive her.

Raymond promised Aria that he would arrange for them to meet, but in the end, Aria refused. She didn't want to see Tate, afraid she couldn't hide the truth from her.

When the black hood was placed over her head, Aria closed her eyes, memories of her time with Tate at the training camp flashing through her mind. She said in her heart, "Tate, goodbye."

After boss's baby, she Escape
