Chapter 648 Good Things Keep Happening

The doctor wrapped the baby in a thin blanket and brought her to Niamh. "Look, this is your daughter, not a monster. She's so cute, it's just a pity that her mother is a murderer."

The doctor genuinely felt sorry for the child, thinking that with Niamh as her mother, she would lead an unhappy life.

Niamh closed her eyes, too afraid to look, and yelled at the doctor, "Take her away. I told you to take her away. Can't you hear me? I don't want to see her. She's a monster, not my daughter."

Niamh was extremely emotional and reacted strongly.

The doctor, worried Niamh might harm the baby, said bluntly, "You've got a daughter and don't even appreciate her. There are folks out there desperate for kids, and here you are, not valuing yours. You're her mom, and she's the one missing out."

"Give her to whoever wants her. I don't want her," Niamh said without even glancing at the baby.

The doctor, angry, took the baby away.

Niamh was afraid of the child and naturally wouldn't breastfeed her.

Jesse was also serving time, so there was no one to take care of the baby. According to the rules, the prison contacted Ophelia.

By blood relation, Ophelia was the baby's aunt. Since the biological parents were unfit to raise the child, Ophelia had the right to choose whether to take care of her or not.

In the Abbott family, Ophelia was telling a story to Warmie when she received a call from the prison and learned that Niamh had given birth to a daughter.

The baby was premature, but fortunately, all her indicators were normal. She weighed only 5.7 pounds, was weak, and needed more care.

Though she had the means to support another child, Ophelia refused to take care of Niamh's daughter.

Life in an orphanage wasn't easy either. Ophelia had come from an orphanage herself and couldn't bear to send the child there.

After weighing her options, Ophelia decided to personally find an adoptive family for the child.

For now, the baby would have to stay in the prison's care.

Finnegan was even less willing to take care of Niamh's daughter. Since Ophelia refused, he was even less likely to agree.

Their love was naturally reserved for their own children.

The prison people understood Ophelia's stance and didn't bother her further.

Ophelia took a nap with Warmie and then took her to visit Lynn's studio.

Finnegan was busy preparing for the wedding.

At the Studio, Lynn was teaching a group of children. With her reputation and skills, many parents brought their children to learn dance from her.

After Ophelia's Mexican restaurant had issues, Addison also came to help at the dance studio.

Initially, Addison was there to learn dance and improve her own demeanor. Over time, she fell in love with dancing and started helping out at Lynn's studio.

When Ophelia laid eyes on Addison, she was like, "Addison, you're like a whole new person! I almost didn't clock you. You look fantastic."

At 37, Addison had improved her demeanor through dancing. Her figure was toned, and confidence radiated from her face. She looked much younger and more vibrant.

Addison used to have an average appearance and didn't know how to dress herself. Now, she had transformed, dressed fashionably, and exuded confidence and beauty.

Addison blushed a bit. "Ophelia, quit pulling my leg. I'm not that stunning."

In front of Lynn and Ophelia, Addison wasn't considered beautiful in terms of looks. But a person's charm isn't just about appearance; it's also about their state, energy, and spirit.

"You look really great," Ophelia said happily. "Addison, this is how it should be. Fantastic."

Lynn walked over and said with a smile, "There's even better news. Addison has a suitor. He's a good person with a decent family background, a great husband candidate."

"Really? Addison, congratulations," Ophelia said with a smile. "I believe Lynn's judgement."

Addison shyly said, "It's not confirmed yet."

As they were talking, a man in his forties, dressed casually, stood outside the window holding a bouquet of flowers and waved at Addison.

The man had a friendly smile, a bit of a chubby appearance, but overall looked kind and pleasant.

Lynn teased, "Your suitor is here."
After boss's baby, she Escape
