Chapter 363 Seraphina's Death and Its Connection to Him

Dovie walked out first. Natalie couldn't understand why Dovie was letting it go.
Natalie followed her out and continued to urge, "Dovie, what's wrong with you? Niamh is hurt like this. Say something."

"That's the result she deserved." Dovie said firmly. "As I've already said, this matter ends here. Don't bring it up again, and don't cause any more trouble."

Natalie looked at Dovie in disbelief. "Just let it go? Niamh lost two fingers. You saw it. She's now disabled. How is she supposed to face others?"

"I've done my best to save her life." Dovie said, "Natalie, we both need to reflect on why Niamh ended up like this. Also, she's my daughter, and I won't abandon her. If you can't stand it, you can go back to Europe, or you take over as her mother. I'm done."

Dovie was angry. She knew that if she didn't stop Natalie, she would cause more trouble.
Hearing this, Natalie felt guilty and angry, especially dissatisfied.
She was worried that Dovie had discovered she was Niamh's biological mother.
That last sentence shut Natalie up.

Natalie was very angry, and the two waited outside in the corridor.
About an hour later, Niamh's wounds were treated.

The doctor said, "Since the fingers couldn't be found, there's no way to reattach them. If they are found, it might still be possible."

The fingers were nowhere to be found, so Dovie naturally couldn't find them.
"Thank you, doctor." Dovie said.

Soon, Niamh was sent back to her room. Besides her finger injuries, she had internal injuries from being thrown by a large snake and was in shock. She didn't say a word.
Natalie was extremely worried and kept talking to Niamh, "Niamh, say something. I'm Natalie. Don't scare us."

Niamh still didn't speak, looking dazed.

Dovie, also heartbroken, said, "Natalie, you stay here and take care of her. I need to go out for a bit."
Dovie intentionally found an excuse to leave, giving Natalie and Niamh some time to stay together.

After Dovie left, Natalie grabbed Niamh's hand, her eyes red. "Niamh, you've suffered. Don't be afraid. It's over now."
Niamh's eyes moved, and she regained her senses. Actually, she didn't want to speak because Dovie was there, and she didn't dare to say much.

"Natalie, Finnegan and the others know my identity." Niamh said in a panic, "What should I do? My mom will definitely find out. She'll kick me out, and I'll have nothing."

"Don't be afraid." Natalie comforted, "As long as I'm here, no one can kick you out of the Parks Family. You were found by me. You are a Parks, and you will be the future heir of the Parks Family."

"Natalie." Niamh felt a bit comforted and cried in Natalie's arms, "Natalie, it was so terrifying. Finnegan released a huge snake. I almost got eaten by it."
The short time at the North Gate Villa was an absolute nightmare for Niamh.

"Don't be afraid. It's over." Natalie said, "Dovie said the Abbott Family won't pursue it. Now tend to your wounds first. I'll make sure they pay for what they did to you. The Abbott Family will pay for your lost fingers."
Natalie looked vicious, gritting her teeth as if she wanted to devour them raw.

When Finnegan returned home, Ophelia had fallen asleep again.
Her fever had gradually subsided. She felt the bed sink behind her and knew he was back.
He had a cool aura, having taken a shower to wash off the smell of blood.
Ophelia didn't ask anything, just clasped his hands, interlocking their fingers.
After that day, no one mentioned Finnegan's revenge on Niamh.

In the following days, everything was peaceful. Old Abbott was discharged from the hospital after half a month.
Ophelia only heard about Niamh's situation that after being discharged, Niamh had been resting at home and been quite demure lately.
After this incident, Niamh always wore gloves and fake fingers to hide her disability.
Landon found no leads in Seraphina's case.
The police notified Ophelia that she could collect Seraphina's corpse.
Magnus organized Seraphina's funeral.
At Seraphina's grave, only Ophelia and Magnus were present.

Ophelia placed a bouquet on Seraphina's grave with a blank expression. Magnus suddenly asked, "Ophelia, have you ever suspected that Seraphina's death is related to Finnegan?"
After boss's baby, she Escape
