Chapter 170 Barely Escape
Hearing the sound of the phone, Seraphina felt hopeful and smiled subconsciously.
As long as Ophe arrived, she wouldn't have to be bullied by these people.
The four burly men subconsciously had a wicked grin that filled with malicious intent.
They had even planned in their minds how to play with Ophe when she arrived.
If Ophe really came over, they wouldn't let Seraphina go, either. How could they miss out on such an opportunity to satisfy their desires?
As the debt company's external hiring, their purpose was debt collection. No matter what methods they used, testing the limits of legality, threatening, and tempting when necessary was a common practice for them.
Seraphina held the phone and happily said, "Abbott..."
But before she could finish, the call was disconnected.
It happened so suddenly.
Seraphina was dumbfounded. Her smile disappeared instantly, and the glimmer of hope in her eyes shattered.
The four sturdy men immediately looked coldly. "Why was the call hung up?"
"Seraphina, you lied to us again."
"Since your friend can't come, you'll have to serve us."
Seraphina said fearfully, her voice trembling. Then called Ophe again, but this time, the call was hung up directly.
Hearing the mechanical female voice on the other side say, "The number you have dialed is currently unavailable," Seraphina was completely disillusioned, and a wave of resentment surged.
"This can't be happening." Seraphina panicked. Before her phone was taken away, she quickly called the police. However, just as she was about to enter the final digit, a burly man snatched her phone and slapped her in anger.
"You bitch, wanting to call the police? Were we too gentle with you? Let me sort out this woman first."
Saying that, the burly man took off his clothes and threw Seraphina onto the bed, then pounced on her.
"Omg, let me go, help!" Seraphina struggled desperately, but these men covered her mouth, restraining her limbs.
Seraphina couldn't resist.
Time after time, one person after another...
From initially struggling to the later despair, Seraphina had no resistance with glazed eyes.
Her body was covered in marks; tears slipped from her eyes, fueled by hatred.
Seraphina blamed everything on Ophe. If Ophe had answered the call, she wouldn't have been humiliated by these four men.
Ophe was her hope, but She Repeatedly hung up the phone, extinguishing her hope and intensifying the hatred in her heart.
Orchid Garden.
Ophe had no idea that Seraphina had called. Tonight, Finnegan had been drinking, and after Old Abbott and Jude left, Finnegan pulled her onto the bed for their carnal desires.
When the phone rang, the two were lost in their passion. At the first ring, Ophe reached for the phone and answered it, but before she could speak, Finnegan took her phone away, hung up the call, and "harshly" punished her for not being focused.
When the phone rang again, Finnegan hung up directly, turning it off to avoid further interruptions, and then took Ophe to the bathroom for a change of scenery.
Since it was an unknown number, and with Finnegan's dominance, Ophe didn't pay attention to any more phone calls.
Later, Ophe fell asleep from exhaustion.
The next day.
Ophe woke up and remembered the phone call from last night. On her way to work, she turned on her phone and called back.
The number called twice last night, and Ophe wondered if it was a client call or work-related.
The mobile phone was a man's last night. He had forgotten about it, so when Ophe called back, the man answered rudely, asking, "Hello, who is this? How do you call early in the morning? If you call again, I'll kill you."
The man was still sleepy and very annoyed by the disturbance, so he shouted back and hung up the phone before Ophe could say anything.
Ophe considered that she didn't know this ferocious man and maybe it was a wrong call, so she gave no care to it.
