Chapter 339 Revealing the Answer
'Sybil was dead last night, how could a dead person still send emails?' She pondered.
Although it was daytime, Ophelia felt a chill when she saw the sender of the email.
"Mrs. Abbott, what's wrong?" Landon asked when he noticed Ophelia's pale face.
"I'm feeling a bit unwell." Ophelia didn't tell Landon about the email because she didn't fully trust him yet.
"When can Sybil's body be taken away? If it can be taken, please let me know. I'll handle her funeral."
"It can't be taken away temporarily. Another autopsy needs to be done." Landon said, "When it can be taken, I'll inform you."
"Thank you." Ophelia gripped her phone tightly. "I'll head back now."
"Mrs. Abbott, let me drive you. You're not feeling well."
"No need. My driver will take me home." Ophelia declined politely.
After leaving the neighborhood and getting into the car, Ophelia finally opened her email to take a look.
After reading the email, Ophelia was utterly shocked.
It turned out that Sybil had been tracking Seraphina and Niamh all along, with organized photos in the email, including a photo of Niamh giving a bottle of medicine to Seraphina.
'When did these two have a connection?'
'Did Seraphina poison under Niamh's orders?'
'Then why didn't Seraphina expose Niamh?' She was confused.
The photos Sybil took last night were not sent out in time. She had a premonition that she might not return while tracking Niamh, so she organized all the collected information and scheduled it to be sent to Ophelia.
If she returned alive, she would retract the email, if she died, the email would be sent to Ophelia on schedule.
That's why Ophelia received this email.
The email ended with a sentence. 'Ophelia, by the time you read this email, I'm probably no longer in this world. I have only one regret, and that is to avenge my parents. If something happens to me, I hope you can help me with this favor, I will repay your kindness in the next life.'
Upon reading this, Ophelia's determination to seek justice for Sybil grew stronger.
The email contained a lot of information, including a conversation video between Natalie and Niamh, revealing that Niamh was not Dovie's biological daughter.
With such a wealth of information, Ophelia found it hard to digest for a moment. She instructed the driver to head to Abbott's Corporation as she was eager to see Finnegan.
In Abbott's Corporation, Atticus was reporting on work matters. "Finnegan, several investors have withdrawn their investments this time. There must be someone causing trouble behind the scenes. Since the last project data leak, the company has had multiple incidents. The mole has not been caught yet, and the consequences could be dire."
Finnegan calmly tapped on the table and said, "Let them revel for a while. No hurry."
Atticus asked, "Finnegan, you know who it is?"
"Now that we've seen the bait, we're not far from the big fish." Finnegan said, "These are all minor issues. Choose two agile individuals to be in charge of Ophelia's safety."
"Alright, I'll select two female bodyguards tomorrow." Atticus, who was adept at understanding his boss's thoughts, immediately thought that female bodyguards would be most suitable for ensuring Ophelia's safety, ruling out male candidates directly.
"Good choice." Finnegan was very satisfied. "Also, have someone keep an eye on the person at the old mansion."
"Finnegan, are you referring to Oscar?" Atticus speculated. "Is he pretending?"
Finnegan smirked. "After following me for so many years, your observational skills have improved."
Atticus laughed. "That's because you are a good teacher. How could there be that many fools in this world, and how things could happen by chance exactly. Just as Jude brought Oscar to the company last time, the data happened to be leaked. It's not hard to guess who leaked the data."
Finnegan coldly remarked, "He was too hasty and inexperienced. But I'm curious about the person behind it. Oscar is just a pawn."
Linda knocked on the door. "Finnegan, Ophelia is here."
