Chapter 356 Taking Real Action

After receiving the call, Finnegan flicked the ash from his cigarette and spoke in a cold tone, "Alright, I'll be there in a bit. First, take the person to the North Gate Villa."

"Okay, Finnegan." Caspian responded.

After hanging up the phone, Finnegan went to the bedroom to check on Ophelia.
He reached out and touched Ophelia's forehead; she still had a slight fever.

"Ophelia, I need to go out for a bit. I'll be back in at most two hours." Finnegan said gently, "Call me if you need anything."

Ophelia opened her eyes and looked at Finnegan, seemingly having a premonition. "Where are you going? What are you going to do?"

"I'm meeting Caspian for a drink. He just went through a breakup and is feeling suicidal." Finnegan lied casually. "You should get some sleep and drink plenty of water. I'll be back soon."

At this moment, Finnegan wouldn't leave her to hang out with a friend. Ophelia could guess what he was actually going to do.
Ophelia grabbed his hand and said, "Finnegan, I hope you don't kill anyone."
She didn't want him involved in murders.

Finnegan pondered for a moment but didn't promise Ophelia anything. He only said, "I'll be back soon."
He still left.

As Niamh had tried to harm Ophelia several times, he couldn't let her go.
Finnegan drove to the North Gate Villa. An hour later, he pushed open the heavy door with his shiny leather shoes on.

Caspian and Niamh were sitting in the living room. The moment Niamh saw Finnegan come in, she suddenly felt a wave of fear.
She had just walked out of the police station and hadn't had time to go back when Caspian's car stopped in front of her, saying he would take her home.
Niamh, unsuspecting, got into the car. In no time, she passed out, and when she woke up, she was already there.

Caspian said nothing; they just played chess and drank coffee alone. The door was closed, so Niamh couldn't run out or notify the Parks Family.
With every step Finnegan took towards Niamh, she felt the breath of death coming closer.

She instinctively swallowed hard. "Finnegan, why did you bring me here? I've already explained to the police that it wasn't me who drugged her. It was Seraphina who framed me. The Parks Family and Abbott's Family are prestigious families. Why would I harm Old Abbott?"

Finnegan said nothing, his expression terrifyingly cold, exuding an aura of authority.
Caspian didn't know why he brought Niamh here as he had just received a call earlier asking him to pick her up from the police station.

Now that Niamh had said this, Caspian understood what was going on.
He was aware that Old Abbott had been hospitalized.

Niamh slumped on the sofa, still under the influence of the drug, feeling weak.
Finnegan looked at Caspian and asked, "Has the python not eaten for two days?"
Finnegan kept a golden python, seven to eight meters long and over two hundred pounds, entirely golden.

Caspian knew immediately what Finnegan intended to do. "Yes"

Finnegan said expressionlessly, "Release it. Let it have some fresh food today."

Niamh didn't understand what they were talking about until a few minutes later when she suddenly felt a chill down her spine and heard the sound of a snake hissing.
She looked up and saw a giant golden python coiled on the ceiling, its head hanging down, mouth open, revealing fangs.
Niamh screamed in terror, trembling all over, almost fainting.

Finnegan said indifferently, "It doesn't like noise. If you keep screaming, you'll infuriate it. After all, it's a beast, which is uncontrollable. If it bites you or eats you, I can't do anything about it."

If a beast injures someone, the owner is not liable for their life, only for compensation. It doesn't constitute a criminal case, just an accident.
His words scared Niamh into immediate silence, trembling all over.
The golden python coiled around Niamh, making her sweat.

Niamh was so scared that she cried. "Finnegan, I really didn't drug her. The police released me, which means I'm innocent. Please make the python go away. I'm scared."

"Scared?"
Finnegan sneered. "You still know fear? Let's not talk about you drugging my wife. We have plenty of time today. The python hasn't eaten for two days. Let it eat first."

As he spoke, Finnegan picked up a fruit knife from the table, walked toward Niamh, grabbed her hand, and, with a swift motion, cut off a finger. Blood gushed out, and even Caspian was shocked by the scene.

He thought Finnegan was trying to scare Niamh, not expecting him to take real action.
The finger fell to the ground and was immediately eaten by the python. The scene shocked Niamh so much that she forgot the pain and started to hurl, eventually vomiting.

Finnegan stabbed the fruit knife into the table and said coldly, "You have nine fingers left and nine more chances to tell the truth."
After boss's baby, she Escape
