Chapter 297 Sybil's Magical Assist
Seraphina was now more composed than before, no longer impatient in her actions.
She anonymously sent Finnegan a photo of Magnus and Ophelia embracing before, but it had no effect at all.
Seraphina then realized that it was challenging to sow discord between Ophelia and Finnegan.
Once Ophelia gave birth to a child, her position as the mistress would become even more secure.
Seraphina, now consumed by jealousy, gradually twisted her mind. She was like someone who had fallen from heaven into a quagmire, a situation that few could bear.
Seraphina still often dreamt that she has returned to the Orchid Garden, where all the servants of the Orchid Garden address her as "Madam."
She dreamt that Finnegan was holding her hand and taking her to various parties and social events.
Seraphina hadn't known that the Orchid Garden had been renamed the Rose Garden. Otherwise, she would be jealous again.
After Seraphina finished washing the clothes, she sent a message to Magnus that she went back to the dormitory to bring some clean clothes over.
More importantly, Seraphina went to buy chicken soup mix. She didn't actually cook chicken soup for Magnus; instead, she bought chicken soup powder. Just add hot water, and became chicken soup.
Seraphina left the hospital and got into a taxi. As the car started moving forward, a van followed closely behind.
Sybil, who was on vacation that day, was in the van. She spent the day following Seraphina and observed her entering Magnus's ward. She also went to the nurse's station to inquire about the Magnus's situation.
She thought Seraphina's target was Magnus, or Magnus was different to Seraphina.
Just now, when Ophelia arrived, Sybil happened to be in the restroom. When she came back, she saw Seraphina leaving, so she immediately followed.
In the following days, Seraphina was in the hospital. Sybil tracked for two days but found no useful clues, so she temporarily gave up on this end.
Sybil started following Niamh instead.
That evening.
Niamh once again treated guests at the club, inviting Second-generation affluent individuals to sing and drink.
Wealthy and generous as Niamh, naturally there were people fawning over her.
Seeing how extravagant Niamh lived every day, Natalie couldn't help herself. She found the club and called Niamh out.
The clubhouse was an open-air garden. Niamh, who was drunk, sat on a wicker chair, feeling a bit impatient. "Why are you even more controlling than my mom now? It's really annoying," she said.
Natalie said, "You would be ruined if i don't come. If you stayed here and waited for your mom to come, you won't be able to enter the company in the future."
Waving her hand, Niamh stood up, saying, "I don't want to enter the company at all. I don't care. I'm going out for a drink."
"Sit properly." Natalie pushed Niamh down onto the chair, saying angrily, "Niamh, sober up."
Seeing Niamh so drunk, Natalie caught sight of a glass of water on the table and splashed it directly onto Niamh's face, saying, "You need to sober up."
Niamh screamed, "What are you doing? My mom doesn't even care about me; why do you think you can control me?"
Niamh was in a bad mood after getting drenched with water.
Natalie, in anger, blurted out, "I am your mother so disciplining you is a normal thing."
This statement left Niamh stunned.
Sybil, who was hiding in the dark, was also startled.
'Niamh is not Dovie's daughter? Is she Natalie's daughter?' She pondered.
Niamh paused for a moment and said, "Natalie, what nonsense are you speaking? How could you be my mom?"
Natalie also realized she had accidentally said something she shouldn't say. Now was not the time to let Niamh know the truth. She quickly said, "I am your aunt. So just like your mom, I have the right to look after you. Niamh, I am doing this for your good. There's no time to waste now. You must behave well so your mom can quickly hand over the company to you. Otherwise, why would I need to bring you back?"
Upon hearing this explanation, Niamh didn't think much about it, and Sybil, who was hiding in the dark, also found this explanation reasonable.
Niamh was once again in a state of disarray, sitting on the wicker chair. "It's too late for anything now. The company will be mine sooner or later. Natalie, why do you have to push me? It's really annoying," she muttered.
Niamh now really dislikes Natalie.
Natalia was hurt by Niamh's words.
Natalie raised her hand, really wanting to slap it down, but she thought better of it, saying, "If you don't work harder, Parks Corporation will really fall into Ophelia's hands."
The words startled Sybil once again.
'What is the relationship between Parks Corporation and Ophelia? Why would Natalie say that?' She pondered.
