Chapter 615 Recognized at a Glance

The call was from Landon. The case of Warmie's missing was now under his jurisdiction.

Landon had found some clues and asked Ophelia to come to the police station.

Ophelia hung up the phone and hurried to the station.

As for Lynn, Ophelia told her to go back to her own work, but Celia insisted on coming along.

At the police station, Landon was very busy as the number of cases had increased.

When he saw Ophelia arrive, he asked her and Celia to sit in his office while he submitted some documents. Then he returned to the office.

"Ophelia, Celia," Landon said as he sat down. "Take a look at this person. Do you recognize her?"

Landon took out a photo, and the person in the photo was Ruth.

Landon was indeed capable. Using the same method he used to find the killer Tate, he identified Ruth as a suspicious person from the surveillance near the hospital.

Ophelia glanced at the photo and shook her head. "I don't know her. Who is she?"

"She’s the one who took your daughter. I also compared this photo; she is Ruth from the Moonlight Gate," Landon said. "Your Abbott family has really offended the Moonlight Gate. They have their eyes on you. I originally called Finnegan, but couldn't reach him, so I had to notify you. Be extra careful. We will also do our best to find your daughter quickly."

Landon was indeed efficient this time. In just a few days, he had identified the suspect and figured out her identity.

Landon hadn't been home for days, working tirelessly on this case. He had reviewed hundreds of surveillance tapes to find a clue.

When Ophelia learned that Warmie was indeed taken by someone from Moonlight Gate, her heart sank.

Celia grabbed the photo and looked at it. She didn't know anything about the Moonlight Gate, but seeing the woman in the photo, she thought of Niamh and turned to Ophelia, asking, "Is this trouble caused by Finnegan messing around with women? Is it revenge taken out on Warmie?"

Ophelia hadn't even considered that possibility. She reassured Celia, saying, "Celia, don't jump to conclusions."

"Why would this woman take Warmie then?" Celia's heart ached at the thought of Warmie being lost. "If it's not a grudge with Finnegan, then it's with you?"

"Celia, it's a long story. " Ophelia said, feeling frustrated and unable to explain clearly to Celia. She then asked Landon, "Have you located this person?"

"No news yet, Ophelia. But don't worry, we will find your daughter as soon as possible," Landon said. He had asked Ophelia to come to identify the person, which would help in finding her.

Since Ophelia didn't recognize her, they would have to continue the investigation using traditional methods.

Ophelia frowned. "Thank you.."

"It's all part of the job," Landon said. "I will inform you as soon as we have any news. Please also inform Finnegan."

"Okay." Ophelia understood and left with Celia.

As they walked out of the police station, Ophelia saw a black private car drive in and park in the yard. A man and a woman got out of the car.

The man was Raymond, and the woman was Tate.

Tate was wearing a mask, so Ophelia didn't recognize her, but she knew Raymond. Raymond's presence must be related to Ruth from Moonlight Gate.

Ophelia stood to the side. Raymond glanced at her but didn't say anything. He turned to Tate and said, "Tay, let's go."

Tate had lost her memory. When she saw Ophelia, she felt no emotion and didn't recognize her. She just glanced at Ophelia and followed Raymond inside.

It was that glance that made Ophelia feel a sense of familiarity. When Tate walked past her, Ophelia felt even more familiar, which was a woman's intuition.

Ophelia instinctively called out, "Tate."

After boss's baby, she Escape
