Chapter 375 Ophelia and Dovie Look Alike

Ophelia didn't argue with Natalie and went along with what Natalie said.

Hearing that Ophelia didn't care, Natalie breathed a sigh of relief. "Don't blame me for being ruthless. It's your bad luck."

"Yes." Ophelia said expressionlessly. "Don't worry, there's nothing to resent. All I want is an answer. After all these years, I've managed."

"You're doing quite well now, Ophelia. As long as you don't expose me, no one will know about this. I won't treat you badly in the future. After all, you are my daughter. When I die, everything I have will be yours." Natalie was giving Ophelia false promises.

But Ophelia never believed Natalie from the beginning. She wasn't foolish enough to believe such lies.

After deceiving Natalie and waiting for her to leave, Ophelia called Finnegan.
"Natalie just came to see me and confessed that she is my biological mother, asking me to stop investigating. I think something is fishy." Ophelia pondered and asked, "What do you think Natalie's real motive is?"
On the other hand, Finnegan was slightly surprised. "Did she really say that?"

"Yes." Ophelia responded lightly. "She said she was worried about her reputation. Let's talk about this later. Anyway, nothing she says is trustworthy."

"Keep your cool, and don't worry about the rest." Finnegan said. "Get through this summer, and when winter comes, our child will be born."
They chatted for a while on the phone. When Ophelia heard Linda's voice, she knew he was busy and didn't disturb him further.

Although Finnegan told Ophelia not to worry, he was still concerned, as this was no small matter. If Natalie's intentions were unclear, it could be detrimental to Ophelia.

Linda said, "Finnegan, the car is already at the door."
"Okay." Finnegan got up.

As he walked out of the company, Finnegan received a call from Jude. Jude wanted to find a doctor to check Oscar's brain.

Oscar was still so young, and Jude wanted to do his best to cure him.
On the phone, Jude said, "Finnegan, I heard that a famous brain specialist from abroad is coming to New York. You have a wide network, so help me set up an appointment so the specialist can check on Oscar."

Finnegan's tone was very calm. "He doesn't need to see any brain specialist. Stop worrying." Because Finnegan knew that Oscar was faking it.

Jude persuaded, "Finnegan, we're all family. No matter how wrong Oscar is, he's still a member of our family. Even if he's not my biological son, I can't ignore him. Oscar is still young. If he becomes a fool now, what will happen when he gets old?" These words made Finnegan think.

Jude's words suddenly made Finnegan realize something.
'Not biological, but sharing the same last name, ultimately a member of the Abbott family.' He pondered.
He remembered something Dovie had said before. After finding out that Niamh wasn't her biological daughter, Dovie still went to Old Abbott to plead for her.

Now Finnegan suddenly understood why Dovie saved Niamh.
Because Niamh wasn't Dovie's daughter, she was Natalie's daughter. Niamh was always a member of the Parks family, so Dovie couldn't just let her die.

'If Niamh was Natalie's daughter, then why did Natalie go to Ophelia?
Natalie wanted to stop Ophelia from finding her biological parents. Could it be because.' He pondered.

Finnegan suddenly asked Jude, "Dad, do you think Ophelia and Dovie look alike?"

"What?" Jude didn't react for a moment but subconsciously compared the two in his mind. "Not really, but maybe a little. Why?"

"Nothing, just asking." Finnegan didn't reveal his guess. After all, it was just a guess. "As for finding a doctor for Oscar, you handle it yourself."
After hanging up the phone, Finnegan pondered how to conduct a paternity test for Dovie and Ophelia without alarming Dovie.
After boss's baby, she Escape
