Chapter 513 A Troubled Order

Celia still had some sense, immediately thinking that Oscar might be pretending to be foolish. It couldn't be that the doctor gave him a few shots and cured him.

There was only one possibility. Oscar was pretending. Before Celia could question him, Oscar pocketed his phone and headed toward the back door.

Celia held Warmie and quickly returned to the living room. Jude was chatting with Wilder over tea while Susan was watching TV.

Celia hurriedly said, a bit out of breath, "Jude, I've discovered something important. Oscar isn't foolish. He's pretending."

Upon hearing this, Jude looked surprised and asked, "Celia, what's wrong with Oscar?"

"He's not foolish. He's pretending," Celia handed Warmie to the nanny and excitedly said to Susan. "Mom, Oscar isn't foolish. He's pretending. He fooled all of us. I heard him make a phone call just now, and now he's slipped out the back door."

Susan adjusted her glasses and said, "I'm not deaf, no need to speak so loudly."

Susan was not surprised at all, very calm. Ophelia came out of the kitchen, not surprised either, and handed the washed fruit to Wilder and Jude.

"Mom, why are you so calm? I said Oscar isn't foolish." Celia thought Susan hadn't heard clearly, so she explained again and said to Ophelia, "Ophelia, Oscar isn't foolish. I heard it just now. Oscar has fooled all of us. Jude, you're still kind to him. You're inviting trouble. Why would he pretend to be crazy and act foolish when he's fine? He must be up to something bad."

Jude was also shocked. "This can't be true. Did the doctor cure his brain problem? I'll have someone bring Oscar here to ask."

Before Jude could call John, Susan adjusted her glasses and said, "I think you two are the ones with problems. Oscar didn't fool everyone, just the two of you."

Jude caught on, "Mom, did you know all along that Oscar was faking madness?"

Celia also asked, "Mom, when did you find out? Ophelia, did you know too?"

Ophelia was also quite surprised. 'How did Susan know?' she thought.

It seemed that although Susan was old in this household, her eyes were still sharp.

To make Jude and Celia feel better, Ophelia said, "I only found out recently."

Susan snorted. "I've watched him grow up. His little tricks can't fool me. Did you really think my eyesight was failing? I never believed he had dementia. Pretending to be mad is just disgraceful."

Celia and Jude fell silent.

The ones with failing eyesight in the house were them.

Celia asked Ophelia, "Does Finnegan know too?"

Ophelia nodded.

Celia and Jude exchanged a glance, realizing they were the only ones in the dark, being kept in the dark.

Jude said sternly, "I'll have him brought back and get to the bottom of this." He had to get to the bottom of it before he could rest.

Jude cared a lot for his nephew Oscar, and the thought of being deceived for so long didn't sit well with him.

Celia said, "Everyone's gone. Where will you find him?"

Jude replied, "Then I'll wait for him to return and ask him properly."

Susan didn't interfere, and Ophelia remained silent on the matter.

Ophelia checked the time. It was only half past six, and Finnegan wouldn't be back for another hour.

In Tate's residence, Anthony brought a large black box. "Tate, this sniper rifle is for you. At seven o'clock tonight, Finnegan will be at the dock. This is your best chance."

Anthony seemed eager to see if Tate would act against Finnegan.

Tate didn't even glance at the black box and asked coldly, "Who's the employer? I checked, and there's no employer for this job."

Anthony chuckled. "Then I don't know. This is a command from the master. Tate, are you going to defy even the master's orders?"

Tate stared at Anthony for a few seconds, walked up to the black box, opened it, and her eyes narrowed. "You seem very concerned about this job, even pinpointing Finnegan's whereabouts."

Anthony sneered. "Tate, there have been countless deaths at your hands, but you still have a soft spot. I'm curious to see if you'll go through with it. Naturally, that makes me take an interest."
